I am since a half year regularly visiting this site as a standard member with a filled profile and 10 of my pictures. I got since then more than 150 unread messages, hundreds of girls visiting my profile. Although I do not even plan to buy membership, because even a VISA payment can be dangerous. I consider 99% of mails as spam or scam, because the visitor counters are always or mostly "1" after getting a message. Talking about visitor counters, it would be interesting to see which girls are visiting my profile regularly. I visit their profiles to test if they still visit my profile and as result: There are 2 of hundred girls who have visited my profile more than 100 times, since about 3 months ago. Last weeks there are some other girls visiting my profile more than 10 times. All of these girls were not messaging me, so I suppose they are standard members. They even allow me to see their private pictures after I have requested. So what would be the next step to filter out the real girls of the world of scammers?

I have been a member of travelgirls for about 3 years now. However, I only pay for a premium subscription for maybe a month every now and again just to read and write messages. I can honestly say that this site is 95% unworthy of my money. As others have pointed out, it's amazing how many messages you get when you are not a premium subscriber that suddenly dry up the minute you pay that monthly fee. After this I have had many conversations with girls that you can quickly deduce are about how much money you are prepared to send them gratis.
I have met 2 of 3 honest people here and my tried and tested method of achieving this is simply to say "let's chat on Skype rather than sending messages backwards and forwards here" people who genuinely want to get to know you will happily chat on Skype or join you as a friend on Facebook. The gold diggers (and I include here the ones working for the website trying to keep you premiumly subscribed) have no interest in becoming your friend.
Finally. I did offer to cover someone's Visa cost to travel from the Ukraine once. A quick check with UK customs confirmed the cost to be €97. She wanted to insist on using a go-between to do the paperwork for her their charge €485... Hilarious!

That is true that there are a lot of scam but me and mu friends we just wish opportunity to travel with someone who worths.

Was a member initially for 6 months. Found out that whilst it is NOT 'an escort site' that it ACTUALLY IS!

When all you see is profiles of girls with pictures showing them with shopping bags on their beds in their Hotel Bedrooms, advertising themselves outside of Chanel, Gucci, Armani boutiques etc, it kind of makes things obvious.

To the man that may be a little naïve, the real give away has to be the constant use in their profiles of the expression ' I am open-minded' and looking for a REAL gentleman.
The second give away is when you propose a joint trip and tell them that you are happy to assist them with their travel costs, they have the cheek to ask for a 'Daily trip allowance?' seriously? One young lady even demanded that she is paid an additional 1,000-euro per day. Only heaven knows what planet she lives on.

The last give away is that some girls say 'I am not escort'... Right, so why have two pics of your face and the other 10 pics of you in lingerie, bikini or topless?

Whilst the owner of this site may have started off with the belief that he was creating a genuine 'travel site' he must be an 'absolute idiot, not to realise what his site is about now!

On the occasion that one should meet a genuine girl, the fact that the software and user friendliness to group and save contacts in any form or means is non existent, so over time, you loose contact or forget who you had interest in in the first place!

At $340 per year, its not a site that is worth the money in anyway what so ever..

I registered on travelgirls.com with no expectations what so ever. I love traveling and meeting new people and thought this sounded like a site were you could meet other people with the same interests. I have never been registered on any site like this or dating site. I felt a bit disappointed as time went on. A lot of desperate pee looking to use eacother but I can't say it was a total disappointment cause out of the blue I met thus guy. The guy (usually bussines man) pays the tickets and expenses, and some financial support, a sum that is totally decided by him. Never contacted anyone first. But I intend to leave this site soon. It can be also dangerous. You don't know exactly the person who you're meeting up. Heard about some trafic also. Girls tricked to travel some other country and there they are forced to become prostitutes.

Ok I am going to be 100% honest here. I have been registered with TG for about 2 years. There is good points and bad points. The bad points first... As a girl who is only on there to have travel experiences not jobs lol I get loads of sleazy ugly men desperate for sex, sending nasty messages calling me a whore (I am not) and messaging constantly. I also have had problems with the admin 'as apparently I am the one at fault when I reply to a vile message sent by a guy telling them where to go! Now and again there is a gem. I consider myself one of those gems hence why I actually have only ever had a great time, and only once had a problem with one of the guys demanding hanky panky. He turned out to be an alcoholic too and I left later that day. TG is what you make of it... Sometimes you can get lucky if you keep an eye out!

Hi... i was a made a membership in this site for 2 mounths... im really disappointed... not more of 20% are normal real girls... all others are runned for sure from the owner... why a man from turkey without pic should receive sooooo many messages from young and sexy girls?

I have been registered in this website for a while and I can tell that the website is for real, obviously like any other websites there are scammers and there are escorts too, but I can sure guys that about a 50% and 70% of the women are real and it is easy to recognize if they are scammers or escorts trying to find clients.

What I can say about this site is that most of these girls are fake. Having said that, I went to Kiev for business trip and decided to try and meet a girl from this site to see if it was for real and to have a guide for sight seing.
