This site does not find itself at fault if something goes wrong on a trip. This site also does not have a good scam filtering system to filter out scammers and so many profiles of women can be potential scammers.

Connections may be found on the site but it does not mean it is a 100% guarantee that they will last for a long time.

Note: One should especially take care when traveling to someone and see if one can do background checks on the person and make sure they provide you as much genuine detail about themselves as they can and also make sure the details that they give you about themselves are indeed the Truth. If they cannot do so then avoid them like the plague.

Most of the messages I received are offers from men. Be it money for a night, week, or travel. I've been in the site for nearly 8months now, and I only meet men who come to my home town. So real woman wary about safety and security and don't accept money or flight tickets from strangers. I don't travel with strangers. So far I have only been to europe after I had met this man for 4 days, and kept in contact for 3 months before I finally accede to his invite. So if there's women or men asking for sponsors, you are just unlucky I guess..

This site is one of the biggest scam for male counter part as they takes a huge amount to read message and go ahead and when you found gals, majority from Ukraine are cheater and ask for money. Before getting money they will show everything on skype & talk with video. Once they get money or we refused, you will not get any response.

This site delete some of the accounts when we inform them but if 90 % gals are escorts of cheater then this site is money making factory for them. And there are many losers from the world on this site.

Too much fake/phony profiles. I signed up to browse members. I got a message from a girl but couldn't read it until I paid for their service. So I paid, and exchanged two messages with the girl until I suddenly didn't hear from her again. I communicated with another "girl" but I did some research and found she was listed as a scam. My travel plans changed so I let my membership expire.

I went back onto the site several months later and created a new account. Same girl contacted me immediately. I didn't have a picture or profile even filled out. How many girls on that site and she is the first to contact me both times? Come on!
Additionally, I also saw the "girl" who I previously mentioned was a scam. She had a new user name and a new profile picture. I reported it to the site administrator, including the link to the site where "she" is listed as a scam and they did nothing about it! She is still on there now as I type this e-mail. STAY AWAY! AWFUL FRAUDULENT WEBSITE!

It´s a Scam! A HUGE expensive scam. The site sends you a lot of messages until you pay, and suddenly you are not that popular anymore;)
Some of the girls on the site are real girls, meet actually few in real life. The problem is most of the girls on the site are ether escort, escort light or gold diggers. You have to pay for their trip and travel expenses (and sometimes even for their friends) and pay a ridiculous amount for their company everyday. Sex not included: D
Guys don't waste your money, if you want an escort, just order one. It is much cheaper, they are more honest and less stuck up, and at least you know what you are paying for.
If you are looking for travel partners, a lot other sites out there, travel buddy and couch surfers are a few i could recommend.
If you are looking for friends or soulmate, I can only say Bro you are looking in the wrong places. You are much more likely to find a nun working at red-light district then to find a soulmate on this site ;)

I joined the site about a year ago and since then have met and traveled with two of the ladies I met there. There are a fair number of the girls that are of the paid escort variety but I've found most of them to be relatively upfront about it and I have no issue with that (not what I am looking for). There are also a fair number that will give a "Hi, how are you?" and then be ready to meet you somewhere... I'm not interested in that either. Most of the very young women on travelgirls have their own travel scam.
These girls offer travel with a man then ask for money to be set to them for traveling cost, but when the men have sent the money these little $#*!es take the money turn their Phones off and ditch their E mail address.

When you chat with them they will tell you to that they will like to visit you and when you ask then to come over, they will start giving excuses that they don't have international passport. My questions to then are: If you don't have international passport, what are you now doing in travel website? And some of the members are escorts.
