The tips you gave me worked like a charm. Chase is actually a Labradoodle. 4 months, extremely intelligent, born and raised in a barn until I got him. He only had one accident in the house and was completely housebroken in 2 days. His buddy is a Maltese he loves to hump, and Charlie snaps at him every time and growls. I was told it's a status thing on who's dominant. Your tips worked great. Thank you so very much.
I would first like to thank you for the emails. I greatly appreciate them! Your approaches have helped me with King already. When he's jumping and I simply ignore his behavior, as you said, he stops within a very short amount of time. Also, praising him with just simply saying good has worked great. I'm not sure if that has worked or made a difference for anyone else but it truly did for me. Thank you for free tips and advice. I'd not be fortunate enough to have something like this otherwise.
I understand what Sally said and if it was only me to do it, it would work, but my neighbors who think they know it all about dogs are involved in these situations.
I learned that I have to "sell" the training methods to my neighbors to get them to work with me on training my dog to be gentle with the little kids and to not nip the neighbor when he is over there.
Thomas was informative and totally nice with good tips for training. I also asked him other questions and he didn't rush me off the phone!
Potty training.
Potty training.
I got my puppy Bambi at 8 weeks old. She is 13 months now and she's already got certain words down pat. The words no, stay, come here, potty, and the word chicken. She definitely knows what chicken is. All I have to do is raise her bowl off the floor and she comes running for whatever I'm going to feed her. Whether it is chicken or not, she eats anything I put down for her. She already behaves very well. I do things a bit different than what the PetTraining Guide book states, regarding Bambi's bath. But the book is very thorough and I recommend it especially for new puppy trainers. Treat your baby like a family member and just love them wholeheartedly and have patience, patience, and patience!
There were no behavior therapist within 50 miles of me. That suggestion is out.
I got lots of other useful hints, but may not be able to do all of them. There is really no space limiting room we can put her in. I did put four beds where she usually uses the rug. But that itself may not work. I will try using the playpen idea.
She doesn't always respond well to treats, even high value ones. Will try a few and hope for results.
Going outside and immediately reward her when she performs. Have to get high value treats as she doesn’t like many other ones.
Trying the dog ear muffs for noise aversion.
Trying the doorbell pad to alert me when she needs to go out. Have tried before but maybe this time she’ll respond. ShihTzus are stubborn!
Yes. I’ve learned many things with calls.
I was concerned about her coughing, but discovered it is reverse sneezing.
I feel like we have made so much progress with this dog and Sally has been a big part of helping us know what to do, so I was glad to get to talk to her again tonight and get some more good ideas from her.
Our dog has regressed in her pooping and is back to doing it in the sunroom, but Sally had a couple of good ideas to help us.
Reinforcing good behavior again
I absolutely think it is a great program.
The call was good, we needed some more insight into our dog.
New ways to help our dog stay calm.
Yes, they should.
As a newly started user, with a pup who is full of spunk and personality, in finding it very easy to follow instructions and put it into action
There were some things I hoped it would show me, like real life examples or actual tips instead of scenarios and what they would go through, it feels like it repeats every video
It was helpful, and enjoyed the focus. Good advice about the issues.
Changing to harness and reintroducing the leash.
While the content in this program is good, the program itself is difficult to navigate. I have to really search my emails and then the website to find my course. The site is extremely slow to move from one topic to the next. It does, however, have very good content that has helped me with my new puppy tremendously. I have leaned on the "call with a trainer" that has come free for the first month with the program. I also appreciate that option. I just think the bones of the actual course needs to be easier to access and navigate through. I am not computer illiterate, I actually work in the technology industry, if it is hard for me, it will be hard for those not as tech savy.
I liked the flexibility of online course. I can learn and engage my pet on my own time, rather than on a set trainer schedule. The price is reasonable as well.
I’m on the right track, and ways to help my pup alert me when she needs to go outside.
Sure. Only just started though
I'm not sure that anything is going to break my dog's marking. It seems like all I am doing is making him more attached to me and then that leads to more marking.
I had 2 calls; regarding potty training indoors and outdoors. The other one involved chewing.
Both trainers were very helpful & gave practical advise. Thank you!
Fantastic ideas about teething puppies.

How to keep your pup entertained in confinement.
I would recommend this course to anyone
First and foremost, thank you for the emails. They are quite helpful to me! Your methods have already helped me with buzo. When I simply ignore his conduct, he ceases in a very short period of time, like you mentioned. Also, simply complimenting him and saying excellent has worked wonders. I don't know if it helped or made a difference for anyone else, but it did for me. Thank you for the free advise and recommendations. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to have something like this.
Relieved and I have a plan. I learned how to socialize my 3month old toy schnauzer by several top level dog trainers and dog whisperers in an almost overnight group effort! I would do the entire course all over again. My puppy is now much better for having had this association. Thank you!
I learned very down to earth practices to try with my dog such as putting peanut butter on a kitchen appliance to use to repatriate my little one from complete alienation from me after the puppy environment that he had come from……..
I gained alot from it. Loved speaking with top professionals in the business for one on one puppy advice. Loved having a “ go to” to get timely advice.
Peanut butter for handling issues
Definitely, I gained alot from it.
The call was incredibly appreciated, and Thomas had great ideas.
The teething issues.
Crating in the morning and having a frozen toy for him to enjoy for that.
The call was great! We got a ton of good information.
Getting my puppy to redirect their nipping and biting.
They should.
Very good experience. I loved reading the material regarding how to give your dog lots of attention, and how important it is to them. Dogs are little creatures loving their relationship with us. I've given Nugget lots of attention and he's responding beautifully.
Love this site. Good advice but too expensive for me.
He takes some steps forward and some steps back. He's now biting my feet as I walk. He is urinating on a pad. Still working on house breaking him.
We are grateful to Sally for her help. Our dog is very difficult.
EAting and destroying EVERYTHING
Helpful call. Will put it into practice. Still looking for the emails.
Excessive chewing and biting. Provide as many outlets as possible. Email links to puzzle toys and safe edible chews for puppies Still chews, but is learning what he can NOT;chew.

The call was very helpful. Good to hear new things to do for the dogs..
I did not understand how the system works and when I asked for input I did not get an answer to my question. It seemed like no-one read my question.
I love my chugs, but I did not have experience training a dog. The training tips are helpful.
Yes, it's useful.

Keeping them out of trouble when they're barking.
Yes, it's useful.
. Dexter had been abused when I got him and it is very hard to discipline him without him withdrawing from me. So I am having some trouble. Just going very slow and easy.
