I don't see how the average middle class person can actually afford to win this game. While fun there's no way to win without spending a small fortune. Sadly I can't afford it. Perhaps if the prizes were worth the money it would be ok but they are overpriced and in reality items I don't need The daily challenges don't award enough to use unless you earn them every day for months. Then you might just have enough to play one tournament and perhaps win. Too rich for me. Too bad.
I used to love this app. But it seems like it has been taken over by greedy people or possibly even fake accounts. I haven't been able to win anything despite having multiple thousand tickets saved up. Not worth my time or the space on my phone anymore.

It takes time to save up tickets if you refuse to pay for them like I do, but if you are patient and save your tickets, you can actually win free stuff
It starts off as a free game to play. Then after you get 20,000 points you have to pay for credits to play. Then as the game continues the cost of credits per play goes up. Oh and just as you think you are going to win they post a message that any lead change under 3 minutes resets the timer to 3 minutes. Looks an awful lot like BeeZid or those penny auction sites. I will not be playing this again.

We have to collect revenue from discount coupons, but the average Total Trivia shopper is still able to get significantly better deals compared to the lowest online prices! Remember that any money you spend counts towards a discount on that item even if you are not the winner. Plan on spending a good sum of money. Gave it a try. Shame of it is that they turn the end of the auction into overtime forcing ppl to use enormous amounts of their "discount" tickets trying to win over priced merchandise. Check their prices against other sites like Amazon before you decide how much you are willing to waste. When they want 120 tickets near the end that's equal to $6.00 a bid. Might as well put it in a slot machine. Already hard core penny auction gurus on the site that do this for a living. This must be a new twist on penny auctions. Check out deal dash and you will find the exact same merchandise. Played on deal dash years ago but they got away from offering useful merchandise. Now its nothing but over priced furniture and art most aren't interested in having.

We tested tournaments internally without overtime before launching, and found that everyone waited until the last few minutes to squeeze in rounds of trivia. The result was that the winner was not chosen by merit, but by chance. Overtime keeps the tournaments fair and merit-based. This is pretty much just a version of penny auctions, you dont win anything for free. You have to buy coupons in order to continue playing trivia to get your points higher than the other competitors. And when the auction is nearing the end it takes an insane amount of coupons to continue playing trivia so you find yourself having to buy more and more coupons in order to beat the other competitors. Hats off to total trivia though, they sure know how to make it look like people are winning things for free.

There should be a limit on how many games a person can play at one time, and how many wins a person can have in a day. Every time I've played the game, the same person ALWAYS gets the win, even scrolled down to see this person winning other games at the same time.

Fun app, anticipate to spend some money. Items are good quality, but not worth the retail price they advertise. Knock off a zero you would probably looking at a better price, i. E. $280 instead of $2800.
The concept is great, but I feel as if they should limit the number of times an auction can be kicked into overtime, or at least have a cutoff point for the fast track and boosters... it gets really frustrating when someone blasts past you with 3000 points over you.
I've been playing for 2 weeks now and I have already won a prize. The tournaments are fairly easy but you will most likely have to buy additional tickets or complete daily challenges to actually win anything. Overall, not too bad.
I've received my few share of prizes from this game... from watches to furniture to televisions. Very pricey suggested retail items at a fraction of the cost. Makes great for getting your holiday shopping done early. Highly addictive.
Love total trivia, I play everyday for two to four hours when my little ones are sleeping. It's my me time. It's definitely fun, and I would have given five stars if the lagging of updates gets fixed.
I came across this game from an advertisement and was a little hesitant at first. Win prizes for just answering trivia questions?! See, ed too easy. I gave it a try and I'm glad I did because I'm now enjoying some new sheets, a comforter and a record player. You can win coupons by completing daily tasks and those coupons will help purchase booster to increase your score or help you play more rounds. There is also an awesome referral link that will give you coupons for every person referred when they make a purchase. It's been great so far. Give it a try if you have time.
I have been playing for little bit now and I just started noticing the same name always winning. So i started going thru all the items and am seeing this person always on top as it gets closer. I've been using this app for a few months and it's a great way to kill time, play some fun trivia, and actually win prizes. This isn't like those bidding sites where you buy bids or anything goofy like that at all. It's free, they give you opportunities everyday to earn "coupons" for free, and prizes can be won without spending a dollar. I've won several prizes over the last few months and all have arrived within days of winning. You do need to be aware that taxes must be paid for winnings over a certain dollar amount (rules on this vary state to state --check lotto/contest/prize winning claiming on taxes for specific info). So just make sure you know the number and don't go over it in a calendar year if you avoid tax forms, etc.
