I ordered on 05/12/22. I've emailed twice. Once I requested an estimated ship/delivery date. On 06/05/22, I emailed requesting my order be cancelled and my money be refunded. I was told they would see if "my plants had been dug" and that I should "wait for their response." I was unaware of any other choice other than waiting. Although, disputing the charge does seem a likely alternative at this point as I believe they are committing fraud.
This company is so dishonest. They have been caught writing positive reviews for themselves. I received a bag of slime for my plants and was told to plant it and if it didn't grow in a year they would replace if I sent it back. There was nothing to plant I asked which plants they had that were live and got reply that all their plants are dormant year round. How is that possible? Finally I was able to return for store credit and order 6 gallons of worm casings. Received 2 bags and said my order was complete. Filing with weight and measurements division of Tennessee

Terrible experience with Tn Nursery regarding order ID #*******., when ordering ship date was listed as Now, well they did ship till more than 3 weeks later. Tried to call customer service to check on my order and the telephone # was no longer in service. Finally able to text Tn Nursery to cancel order and they required a 20% cancellation fee which I agreed to. They shipped the order anyway and billed me the full amount. Terrible Service, will never order again from Tn Nursery

There was a computer switch in my order. I did not receive what I ordered and was overcharged. The customer service person was rude and unhelpful. They refused to make it right. I would never order from them again!

I have purchased a few plants from this vendor. The ferns I ordered were great. There were clear instructions for planting, etc. However, I ordered what was supposed to have been an oak leaf hydrangea, along with a couple of others items. I know many times, first year planted items will not bloom or perform at their best. I questioned if what I received was an oak leaf hydrangea (I do not have one, but the leaves did not look right last summer) and it did not bloom. This year, I confirmed it is not an oak leaf, so I reached out asking for help to identify what was sent to me. I did not ask for money or to return - simply to get an idea of what I have planted and how to take care of it. When I reached out to the vendor, I was told they could not help me because it was beyond their one year warranty. I only wanted help to identify what I did receive. Based off this rude experience from this vendor, I will not buy from them again.

I have been amazed at how quickly the bareroots emerge and grow into large plants. Within two days the Indian Pinks were emerging. The roots give perennials a headstart on developing.

I ordered 11 maple viburnum, Viburnum acerfolium. While the height was good, the root mass was pitiful. In addition, there was inadequate moisture-retaining material around the roots. I took a picture because I was concerned they were not well rooted. The picture shows the root mass for 11 shrubs. I should have returned them immediately, but I assumed that the company would only send plants that would grow. I immediately soaked them and planted them individually in free-draining potting soil to allow them to put on some growth before planting them in their permanent location. They were placed in a protected location and monitored regularly for growth. As a garden professional, I know how to care for dormant plants. Unfortunately, only one plant survived to show a small amount of growth, now 5 weeks after receipt. Needless to say, the company will not refund my money or offer a replacement. They expect you to reject dormant plants within 24 hours. I gave them the benefit of my doubt, I urge you not to make the same mistake.

I will no longer shop with Tennessee Wholesale Nurseries because, although they give a customer service phone number, no one answers it. You are referred to email, where they merely throw links at you. All in all, it's about as impersonal of a shopping experience as one can have. A product without a person behind it does not appeal to me.

Ordered 10 dew berry plants on Jan 31,2022. Received 8 bare root plants in very poor shape. Planted all 8 and only one survived.

After 30 days I called and found out my order was still NOT shipped, supposedly my order was sitting in their distribution center waiting to be shipped. I suspect I will get dead plants from their long delay. I will be surprised if anything lives after it arrives.

Got my order straight away, now one year later all but one plant have survived the winter and are thriving. My first foray into bare root plants. It's a good thing.

I ordered several plants in early April and haven't heard or seen a thing. When I enquired I was told that my plants would ship before the end of April. Here it is May 6 and nothing. Do t these people realize that plants have to get in the ground now!?! They took my money soon enough, now show up!

I ordered bamboo plants almost 2 weeks ago. It stated 5 plants per package. I ordered 45 pkgs for a total of 225 plants. I called the day after I ordered to confirm my order since i ordered on a Sunday. The lady in customer service pulled up my order and confirmed that I would receive 225 plants.
My order came 4 days later but was short 180 plants.
I called immediately and no one on the phone could help me and said I would need to email customer service. I did several times with very little response.
They finally emailed 6 days later and said my order was complete and refused to send me my remaining plants or refund my money.
Thankfully I screenshoted their website stating it was 5 plants per package. They conveniently changed their website today and changed it to 1 plant per package for a little over $4 each. Instead of 5 plants for $12.99 or $14.99.
I had to dispute the charges because the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced from any company.
Beware ordering from this company. Learn from my bad experience.

Bought a tree (american beech tree) didnt last a year contacted them and wanted them to replace the tree bought of couse they wanted me to take a knife scrap the tree to see if it was fully dead, the tree was brittle and broke in half some time during the winter, needless to say screwed at the drive through and $42 dollars out the window so much for the warranty that came with this tree!

They sent dead sticks on a $200 order- no dirt around roots, simply dropped in a box to dry out. When I called to cancel another order of $654 they said no refunds- but didn't deliver any product, they kept $600! There is a gathering any disgruntled customers info for a mass complaint to the TN AG, BBB and to file class action.
There are numerous complaints on Yelp, & BBB.
Please send an email to the above mentioned bodies as well as an email to *******@protonmail.com if you have been treated unethically, sent damaged faulty product, or your product didn't arrive - instead of refunding a product they didn't deliver- they would rather a judge order them to? All I wanted was the $654 refunded- for the product they didn't deliver. They can keep the $200 I spent for dry dead product, packed incorrectly. There are also several interesting laws regarding the regulation of nursery licenses, this person is in charge of their licensing:

Ordered 100 Va Blue Bells. Did not arrive on requested date. I planted the dormant roots. About 50% of the plants did not come up this year. Asked for replacement plants and was told I should have checked the plants for viability upon receipt. When you plant dormant roots of a ephemeral plant, have to wait till the next spring for foliage to appear, then you see what is viable. I sent a photo of the plants to show the growing conditions were correct. Never buy from this company. I waited a year to find out plants were of poor quality.

Product arrived on my porch with 32 degrees outside. Box was smashed and ends had been opened. It was wrapped in postal ribbon that said damaged parcel. Asked for refund to no avail. My bank refunded my money when they didn't respond to them either. Very low class company. Stay away!
