Ordered 10 dew berry plants on Jan 31,2022. Received 8 bare root plants in very poor shape. Planted all 8 and only one survived.
The web site was easy to use. Can't wait to plant them. They look good. It was good. Will be getting more plants soon.
I am still waiting for my buy one get one perian. Email last week said it was being looked into and since then nothing.
Easy to order. Found the flowers I was looking for very quickly and the price was right.
Easy to order. Arrived in good shape. Looks very healthy. This is the first time I have ordered a plant online. Could find none locally.
I planted $150 of perennials in April. It was the first time I ordered bare root plants so I didn't know what to expect other than a flowering garden this summer. It's now early July and nothing. Nothing has greened out, much less flowered. I've dug up some of the roots and that's what I still have: roots. Looking at the web site you'll see something entirely different: A picture of a bare root plant with greenery and the statement "What Our Perennials Look Like Before They are Shipped. The left image below is an example of our perennials before shipment. The perennials are shipped without blooms since they are shipped in their dormant season. Once you receive your perennials, plant them and wait for spring and your blooms to arrive."
Not so. What you will get is roots only in a zip lock bag with a black magic marker note that you can barely read identifying the plant. It gets worse. I went back and forth with customer service numerous times and now I learn, "Some of these will establish but most won't." What? Let me get this straight. They send out bare root perennials to customers knowing (but not telling the customer) that most of the plants not only won't establish during the Spring of their order but they won't establish at all. Furthermore, as for their guarantee, you have to wait a year for replacements. I've already lost a growing season and now I'm supposed to be grateful that I get another chance of losing another season with plants where only "some will establish but most won't"? Is this a joke? At the same time I placed this order I ordered other bare root plants from another nursery. They came with a clearly typed label of the plant, extensive roots and greenery and they've done very well this season. TN Nursery perennials are a total waste of money. Customer service was totally unhelpful. They never returned my phone calls and those on the other end of numerous emails talk in circles.
Never received what I ordered and was pandered and mocked and laughed at by customer service. Dont do business with them

I bought a sourwood tree, and followed the directions for planting and 6 months it was thriving…beautiful fall color.
Thank you for the awesome review about our sourwood tree, William. We are so pleased to hear it is working just as it should and that you are enjoying it so much! We have passed your kind words on to our product team. If there is anything else we can do, please let us know. We hope to see you shopping with us again.
C+ at best. Communication could be better; however, TN nursery did respond to a customer service email.
I have purchased twice Trillium undulatum from TTN. I received not the species purchased and when the plants did bloom three-years after pruchase, they were a combination of sessile trilliums (T cuneatum) and pedicellate trilliums (T grandiflorum, erectum, luteum). They claim that T. Undulatum are blooming size rhizomes but I have found their claims to be untrue. The company is not to be trusted when it comes to purchasing and receiving the correct species. And, of course, if the plants do not bloom in the first twelve months after purchase, they will not replace the plants even though they are responsible for sending the wrong species. T. undulatum are difficult to grow, and for this reason I believe they fraudulently package easy-to-grow species - at least when the plants emerge from the ground in the Spring, the buyer is duped into believing they received the correct viable plants even if they do not bloom. Gotcha! Jerry
I bought some trees to start my food forest. I was able to quickly buy and find trees that will grow in our zone.

Guessing the reason is why they were buy one get one free…'Free' one was not the best. I hope it grows :(
Easy to order.
But then I received an email saying they're refunding my money with no explanation as to why they're not sending my trees
Great service! The products are planted and happy:)
Your plants are in excellent condition. Thank you!

They have great hard to find ferns and plants available as bare root stock. Their prices are reasonable and they have good descriptions of the plants
