This company is a call center located out of US. They sent me resale tickets at a huge market up that weren't valid. The seats they sent me were still available at the venue box office for 1/3 the price TicketCenter had set. Their customer service "couldn't" locate my order number but they got their $556 for $150 worth of tickets! DO NOT BUY thru ticket center!
Ordered paid for and never received tickets for my grandson and his dad to a hockey game. Good thing I could get day of tickets at venue cheaper. I have a great credit card company and they refunded my Charges. Rot in Hell you scamming jerks
Similar to many reviews here, Tickets Center is indeed a dishonest company. We purchased tickets over 3 months in advance for a football game in another state. Here's a summary of the issues we encountered:
1) We did not receive the tickets that we requested. We received a different section/row that was obstructed.
2) Unlike most 3rd party ticket sites, we did not immediately receive the tickets. It was not until almost 3 months later and multiple calls and complaints that we received the tickets. If we had a change of plans there would not have been the opportunity to re-sell the tickets or get our money back.
3) Only after we purchased the tickets did we receive an email from Tickets Center stating there was no guarantee our seats would be together, meaning the 5 of us could potentially be split up.
4) The same tickets we "purchased" (row/section) continued to be for sale on multiple other 3rd party sites (Vivid Seats, etc.) meaning Tickets Center never secured our seats until later or, possibly more nefariously, wanted to wait to sell us less desirable / less costly seats to increase their profit.
5) Multiple times we called Ticket Center and worked thru our credit card company to complain and request our money back. They refused.
6) This last one is our own fault, but the markup on the tickets was egregious. We were eager to see our son play and did not do the typical due diligence. Regardless, lesson learned to never do business with this company.
7) When you try to find out information about the company ownership or background you reach a bunch of dead ends.
Lastly, consumers would be wise to complain about this company to their state attorney general and chamber of commerce as lawsuits have been filed in New York and elsewhere for unethical business practices of this company and other 3rd party ticket distributors.
When you order parking for the Kennedy Center they offer a lot they claim is.8 miles. They leave out that the parking is on the other side of the river in Arlington VA. And the actual distance to walk is 1.5 miles.
Their customer service is to tell you they have a team checking on the location then they read you the disclaimer. The person on the phone is the end of the line.
Never Again Ticket Center! I will tell everyone I know to never use you.
Only posting a 1 star because it is not an option to post 0. Horrible experience -- purchased tickets the week of an event. When the tickets were transferred to me they displayed as 'invalid' in my Apple wallet. I contacted Ticket Center's customer service 4 times via phone and 3 times via email. They could not solve my issue and refused to refund me. DO NOT BUY TICKETS HERE. I will never buy from this platform again. Worst experience of my life.
TERRIBLE! SCAM! Do Not Use. Go directly to venue and/or whichever access they use.
Hassle from day one. Very complicated to order. (Should have been my first clue.) Did not realize
I was not using Ticketmaster directly. Tickets-Center is allegedly a go-between/expeditor.
Ordered tickets in February for event Sunday, April 21. No contact until Friday April 19, saying tickets sent, and must be used on cell phone, no physical ticket or email info. No tickets received period. Spent hours on phone trying to resolve. Would not refund payment.
Tomorrow April 20, I will try to get answers from Ticketmaster if possible.
I'm about to write off the almost $300 for tickets, tax, service charges, etc., and call it an expensive lesson learned.
Would give them a MINUS 20 STARS if I could!
I got a text about an hour before the show saying I needed to urgently call. I call and they say that the tickets were double booked and they only offered a refund. I drive three hours and took off work to go to this show. All they offered was a refund. Stay away from this scam!
Nothing but a triple charging scalper site. A garbage company, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! There is no customer service and you're just out of luck once you realize you've been ripped off.
I was looking to purchase some concert tickets at the Orange County Fairgrounds online and a website called tickets-center.com popped up so I proceeded to order tickets thinking I was getting a good deal on this website they have pop ups that tell you if you buy one set of tickets you can get 20% off the second set you buy. Which to my surprise I was actually getting ripped off big time by these shysters. I did not realize this until a day later after buying these tickets that you can buy them directly from the OC Fair website for face value. This so called tickets-center.com is a website that gouges you and makes you pay way higher for the concert tickets. I did contact them and they will do nothing for me. I spent 1196.76 and the exact same tickets are for sale at the OC Fair Website for 452.00 so this website did not give me 20% off my tickets they actually overcharged me triple price of what I should have paid for these tickets. And actually their website is set up to rip you off when your on it and it sucks you in saying they are giving you an extra 20% off then they put a timer on screen like somebody else is buying the tickets so you have to hurry. Its a major scam operation and they don't pity anybody they just take your money and should be shut down in my opinion. I have asked for a refund and they refuse to give me one. I also asked for their address to take them to small claims court in which they wont give me. Most people think they are buying from the seller direct the way this website it set up. This company is a racketeering outfit that has scammed thousands of people out of there hard earned money charging them triple the price of tickets. They deceive people and gouge them they promise a 20% off but actually charge them triple the price of face value for the tickets in which you can buy on the venues sight that they are impersonating. They are a tricky outfit.
Tickets scam. Two octogenarians. Date, October 25 for our anniversary. The Fox admitted us anyway.
Asked to change my ticket to a different date, as I have been ordered to work that evening, i was told there's absolutely no extenuating circumstances, and was told they will absolutely not honor any such requests. Ever.
Discussed with the service i received over the phone
Discussed with the policy
Will purposely not order tickets from them if that meant missing an even
Horrible service
I ordered two tickets to a comedy show which should have totaled around $65.00 ($32 each). TicketCenter put my order through and the total came to $185.50. When I tried to cancel the order they refused. As many other reviewers have stated here, there is no customer service to speak of at this horrible company. No refunds and no actual tickets until the day before the show. This latter part is ridiculous as they claim they won't know the seat numbers until then. Even shadier, this event had no reserved seating to speak of and was actually arena seating. They've paid Google apparently to have their company name pop up first for tickets which are only 'transferred' to your email account. So I got taken for THREE TIMES the amount of the actual ticket price offered directly from the show venue. Avoid TicketCenter at all cost.
Avoid this company at all costs! They are a complete and utter scam. Refuse to give me my tickets. Avoid them. I have "chatted' with several employees of the company demanding my tickets only to get the run around. IF you buy which I truly hope you learn from my mistake, file an FTC complaint, file a BBB complaint, file a credit card fraud/dispute complaint. This company needs to go away!
I would give them a -Zero-if I could. Customer service was horrible. I was looking for Ticketmaster and this came up instead. Plus they charged $100 over the face value of the ticket plus the processing fees. Call their customer service immediately after I realized I was being overcharged to cancel, less than an hour when I did not receive the electronic tickets. In my state it is illegal to charge more than $1 above face value, so not only is it a scam but also illegal to sell above fave value. STAY AWAY
Bought tickets for family of 5 (3 minors) to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I have purchased tickets on other sites countless times with no issues. When I received my digital tickets they were split into 3 and 2 (not anywhere near each other). Evidently in the fine print they say tickets for more than 4 may be split up. You would think a major warning would pop up and state this anytime you chose more than 4 tickets. Kids and wife were very upset we couldn't sit together. I called customer service and they were of no help. I will never use this service again.
The day before Christmas Live with Amy Grant and Michael W Smith concert at DPAC, I got a call cancelling my purchase because the seller couldn't transfer the ticket with less than 24 hour's notice. The only other option I was offered was to downgrade my seats from orchestra to upper tier balcony at the DPAC. I was able to purchase an equal value ticket in the same seating area for the same price on Ticketmaster.
I bought tickets for my 8 year old grandson who is very ill. He loves the Grinch. How can this company still be ripping people off. They don't give you seat numbers!
On November 17,2023, I Googled "ticket office" for show at Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre in Red Bank, NJ. I hit the first link and it appeared to be the ticket office of Meridian Health Theatre, with visuals and tickets choices. My ticket search said just a few remain. So I BOUGHT two $89 tickets. When I went to payment it added a $25 fee and an additional small fee which brought two tickets to $235! I paid but then rechecked the google search and found the official ticket office. There were many tiks available at all prices. My tickets were selling for $40 each or $80 total. Within 10 minutes I called TicketCenter and spent 20 minutes on the phone with a rep who said I read the small print and there are no refunds. He said I should try to resell the tickets. VISA accepted a complaint but said that TicketCenter will just send a photoshoot of the box i checked. I filed a complaint with PayPal and they identified and cancelled a monthly subscription plan for $235/month, which I did not request. However they said they could not get a refund and I should talk to TicketCenter, which already said no refund. TicketCenter makes it's money by misleading consumers. Google is also at fault for allowing these ads to show up first in a search and PayPal should screen their client companies because they are enabling misleading marketing. Too many people in financial tech lack ethics.
Last June I purchased 2 concert tickets in Canada that I was charged US dollars for plus service charges. I never received the tickets yet my bank shows the charges went through. Now in Mid November here I am still trying to get my money back. This outfit is completely negligent and should be SHUT DOWN with a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Ticket Center will not issue refunds, but instead issues store credit. Conveniently blaming all cancelled events on COVID-19, in which they changed their refund policy due to COVID-19. This was never their policy beforehand.
