I do not have an adblocker. This website tells you you have an adblocker in order to trick you into waiting one whole minute to download a single thing. In addition, it loads pages very slowly and does not let you download 2 things at once. Then after all that, it has the guts to write ''Using adblocker? Read this while you wait'' as if you're a child that has done something wrong.We owe you nothing. You are a despicable website.

I've downloaded many Custom Contents (CC) from hairs to clothes to decorations from the site and they all work great with my game!

There are many and I mean MANY great designs (for all categories) on the site. They're FREE to download with a little "catch" - you do have to wait 10 seconds to view some ads. But its worth the wait!

The community is also great at giving advises and help newbies learn to make their own custom contents (CC) by providing tools and tutorials. You can also post question in the forum to ask for help and you'll get some respond with great tips and suggestions.

This website is the WORST! I can't even log in. If I use my account name it says: Inlog incorrect or something like that. Soo freaky frustrated. And if I ask for new password it doesn't work either. I seriously create a new email and even then it says email already used. Liars!

I like this site you can download content for the sims 4. One annoying thing is that it BLOCKS YOUR DOWNLOaD! If you have adblock on

Trying to use The Sims Resource is at the very least a hassle, and at most like trying to rip your own eyeballs out of their sockets. Its painful dedication to throwing ads at you is disgustingly ugly and annoying. Trying to use TSR without an adblock is almost impossible, it's worst than any other website I've been to. There are ads literally on every part of the screen that you don't need to click on to download the goddamn custom content.

Trying to use TSR with an adblock is buggy and difficult, as the website tries to actively fight against it. They might has well lock you out from using the entire website as their current solution to adblocks is have you wait upwards of 2 minutes for each download.

That leads me to the one semi-recent change that they made to this website which does make it ENTIRELY unusable for me. Before, you had the option to load up as many downloads as you want, and go to each tab clicking download on them, which you often do with Sims 4 cc. However, now you are unable to download even *ONE* thing if there is another cc counting down the 10 seconds (or 2 minutes) it takes to show you its download link. This is utterly ridiculous. This website is scum, and they basically take amazing cc hostage to lure you into their gross greed.

I refuse to use this awful website.

Website constantly hounds you to purchase a membership, reminder that this is a site HOSTING CUSTOM CONTENT AND MODS for a game that doesn't belong to them, which is also against EA policy

How this god awful website hasn't been sued yet amazing me, but FIND AN ALTERNATIVE, DON'T DOWNLOAD FROM HERE

TSR is the best website to find all custom content for your sims used it quite frequently for my sims game and my friend uses it too! Yes, you have to wait like a minute or two because of ads to be able to download things but you can purchase a pass for like $2/mo for no ads and quicker download. I highly recommend this website though for all your CC needs.

I've been modding video games for YEARS. Skyrim, MHW, Spore, Minecraft, and even something as simple as Townscraper-- I have seen plenty of websites hosting for modders and their consumers. Forums, Lost websites and even the bigger dogs like Nexus and Tumblr for modded content.

The Sims Resource is THE WORST website for modding I've ever had the displeasure of putting up with by far.

Right off the bat, you cant search unless you manually type inside the address bar-- even then- you have to know WHAT to type. So fine, move past that-- The website, like many others, ask you kindly (at first) to not use adblock. Which is fine, free content websites deserve to run their ads to stay up and running-- usually if it's tolerable i don't mind doing that at all!

But its not until you download something you realize it will prevent you from downloading things--and this is after you've been forced to wait though a 15 second timer (which goes on longer if you focus another time, mind you.) And if you do it again it will force you to wait a minute and then proceed to deny you the CC-- forcing you to do I all over again. Worst yet-- it will keep happening sometimes even if you've shut it down- deleting cookies and restarting your browser via closing and reopening all tabs. So, you've gone the entire time without the item you want. This wouldn't be so frustrating if people didn't post each, tiny little furniture piece in separate downloads, worsening the risk and making you wait sometimes several minutes. Which-- you can only download ONE AT A TIME. Unless of course you use the VIP!

God, the VIP... Nexus has something similar, so do a few other websites for any modding- which sometimes isn't that bad. Nexus only throttles downloads and hides ads, Pretty standard and harmless; But TSR hides almost everything user friendly behind a paywall. No wait times, downloading multiple things at once, no ads, usable search bar, a download history. A search bar should be available for your creators sake. You cant even look up specific creators unless you hope you stumble on their work or type it in the websites address bar.

And for a single (already expensive (unless you wave a Jolly Roger flag)) game I play on and off? I am not doing that.

The sheer quantity of ads make the website sluggish, and I have an high end PC and solid internet-- everything takes so long to load and sometimes the ads keep showing up to the point you cannot see a good 40% of the screen if you're unlucky and get the overlay banners. Or even unluckier-- The video ads unmute all at once for some god forsaken reason. It looks absurd and honestly enough I've sent screenshots as jokes to my friends.

TL; DR -- Bad UI, Bad wait times, VIP is predatory and almost forced. Actively unusable if you get an adblock detection bug. Avoid at all costs, honestly. It's barely even worth it if you're looking to download many things in one go.

So i bought the VIP deal so i wouldn't have to deal with ads. I would also get downloads more quicker. But it was only suppose to be for one month and they have been charging me monthly. I sent TSR a email but no response and i haven't been on this site for months so they are stealing money!
