I will give them credit, "Penny Hoarder" is an appropriate name.

They have all kinds of clickbait lies! For example they have an article that is titled "6 companies that send people money when they're asked nicely" on that list are things like. Download iPhone bingo app, get a high interest loan, play solitaire app, and take surveys. Lol nothing to do with asking anyone anything nicely. Stay away from this scam site!

Saw one of their ads on Facebook, "15 Companies That Will Give You Free Food and Other Products Just For Asking" and if you click the article ThePennyHoarder links you to, it's 100% a clickbait scam that tries to get you to sign up for scam survey websites and download apps. Remember folks, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Nothing is free and none of the websites or businesses listed will give you free products "just for asking"! The Pennyhoarder is spreading lies and false information as usual to get kickbacks from these unscrupulous websites. Don't get scammed.

As a 20-plus-year experienced investor, I stumbled across this site from curiosity and read a few articles. Too often it seems like their recommendations (directing you to specific companies) are veiled advertisements -- I wonder how much money they're making from them? -- and some of the suggestions are otherwise clearly bad advice designed for the remedial investor. Take it from someone who has no agenda regarding your future, if you don't have much experience in the finance world, don't get educated on this site. --now that's some good advice.:-)

They have annoying click-bait ads which act like they will provide insightful articles on saving money and making money but really it is just ads for services like Honey and Truebill. The article almost seemed like a copy and paste of these services blurbs which are all over YouTube and social media. Of course, clicking those links makes Penny Hoarder money but doesn't really help you save any money.
