“An evil cult.”

Whatever way you look at it, this group has destroyed so many lives...in my own family included. It has a history of systemic child abuse, religious prostitution, mentally destroying people, financial abuse, and so much more. I sincerely hope that tfi, and other groups like it, keeps right on drying up like a shriveled old grape until it disintegrates into the dust. And if there's any justice, it's leaders will be found guilty of any one of their crimes and finish their lives in jail.

Tip for consumers:
i was born into this group. Most people left in 2010 thanks to a strategy the leaders had that backfired and let people out.
Anything that has to do this this group is tainted and dirty and comes from a history of abuse and manipulation and should be stayed away from. Let it die and hope nothing else like it germinates anytime soon.

Way too people children born into this cult went on to kill themselves, the others are still picking up the pieces as adults and trying to heal. The damage was extreme, cruel and irreparable and they did it all in the name of "God" and "Love". It is a criminal organization that needs to be completely disbanded and prosecuted for all of the harm they have caused. Absolutely vile group. (I was born into this cult)

Previously know as the Children of God, they got into religious prostitution in the 70s and promoted child abuse including sexual abuse of small children

It is the infamous cult The Children of God, renamed. They trafficked adults and kids. There is documentation of this, as well as testimonies, court cases, and documentaries. Look up xfamily.org for records.

The Family International was formerly called The Family of Love. Before that it was called The Children of God, and before that, Teens for Christ. It's an international religious cult founded by pedophile David Berg (now deceased) and his child trafficker wife Karen Zerby. Zerby and her partner Stephen Kelly are the current leaders and are in hiding. They change their names frequently so as to evade detection and accountability for their crimes against cult members and children born into the cult. Many books have been written about this dangerous cult by people who escaped it; documentaries about it can be found on YouTube, and Podcasts on Spotify. Members of this cult can appear to be genuine, committed, friendly and sincere, but they are well experienced in deception and manipulation. Do not trust them. Research this cult for yourself, and see fb page Bringing Karen Zerby to Justice for more information.

How can these people promote love and religion when behind closed doors there were so many lies and secrets, innocent, children, teenagers and some adults were done wrong by.There were many ndividuals who knew right from wrong but still crossed many boundaries, took advantage of innocent children, let power go to their heads and because of unacceptable behaviour that was going on alot of children and teens were hurt in the process and the ones who we haven't been lost to suicide and drug overdose because the physical, mental and emotional experiences weere to great to live with. There are still so many survivors who are still hurting all these years.Where was this so called love, understanding and care they all preached about?Hurting innocent children and teens is not love in any way shape or form in my eyes and there are alot of people who need to answer for wrong they chose to do.There were some kind, caring adults in the cult but those kind people were also used as pawns as if the cult was playing a game of chess.Children are not play things but so many were sadly treated like toys.

Karen Zerby and her husband Steve Kelly are criminals who hide behind the guise of Christian goodness to whitewash the numerous crimes that they are guilty of. They operate the notorious cult known previously as The Children of God, The Family of Love, The Family and now known as The Family International. Their literature promoted sexual child abuse, pedophilia, the denial of a child's basic right to education. Children were used as forced labor to raise money that was then demanded as tithe to support their lavish life styles. Children were forced to live away from their own parents and put in groups run by strangers where they had to endure indoctrination that was administered via corporal punishment and other forms of physical and psychological torture and abuse.

They are unrepentant criminals who have evaded the law numerous times living under false names and using forged legal documents.

The Family International is a scam, where they trick people into believing that they are Christian missionaries doing good work and helping people. The money that they raise via donations gets sent to Zerby and Kelly and provides them the means to evade the law.

I know this because I personally grew up in this vile cult. Avoid them like the plague.

Tip for consumers:
The TFI is a money scamming cult.

This company is dedicated to forcing people who don't believe in their blatantly stupid "Catholic" ideology to live in misery. These are reprehensible people who clearly don't understand what their religion is supposed to stand for.

For more information on how terrible and undeniably criminal it is for this Cult to still be posing as a organisation please speak directly to the ones who lives are forever effected detrimentally simply by being born and raised in this specific CULT. Yes there are many of us. We all have horrific stories to share of our experiences if necessary. We suffer every day for the crimes upon us as children we never deserved! For further details you can contact me and/or many other children now adults with children that have suffered simply for being born and raised in this Cult. That is much information out on this Cult for those that wish to educate themselves. To those of you still living in denial and supporting this Cult please know you are supporting a pedophile that has ruined the lives of thousands of children and still are denying it... SHAME ON YOU! You will need to be honest at some point, about who you are and what you have done. Don't you agree?

David berg, the founder, was, by his own admission, an adulterous, alcoholic pedophile.
The group claims to be Christian yet the God of David Berg is incompatible with the God of the Bible.
His key teaching was that you can commit adultery in love, if that is true, can you murder and steal in love? By their fruits you shall know them. Most of the thousands of children born and raised in the cult, are atheist and agnostic in their worldview. From a religious standpoint, the cult espouses a view of cheap grace, i.e. "say a magical few words, without understanding what they mean, and you can go to heaven, not hell." I pray for the repentance of those who still believe it's teachings.
The founders teachings go against the core tenants of the Christian faith, against the teachings of Christ, ergo, David Berg, was an anti-christ false prophet.
FYI, I was born and raised in the cult. But found true faith in God through studying the Bible in context.

This cult, also known as the Children of God is a dangerous and destructive cult which ruined the lives of many young people born into it. It is one of the cults that has the highest suicide rates. Some of these young people who took their lives were my friends who deserved a better life. All of these young people struggled with mental illnesses caused by their upbringing in the cult which was extremely abusive. Sexual abuse towards minors was condoned by the leadership of the cult in their publications, as well as severe physical abuse and a variety of abusive and humiliating punishments, i.e.: solitary confinement, silence restriction, hard labor, etc.
Some of these punishments caused severe bodily harm and long term emotional trauma and other mental issues.
The children in this cult were exploited to get funds for the "mission." Day in and day out they were used to bring money through busking on the streets, selling cult material door to door, in stoplights, etc.
We were denied a proper education.
We were denied medical care because it went against the cults beliefs.
Most of us were raised by strangers in the 30 some communes we grew up in during our lifetime. At some points away from our parents and loved ones. Sometimes we couldn't see our parents for up to a whole month because they were off in some meetings held by the cult leadership in another city. A lot of the abuse happened to us while our parents were away.
The cults leaders believed in seperating the families in order to create one big family, which they called "The one wife vision."
This belief caused an awful lot of damage. Most families were broken and to this day are completely dysfunctional.
The leaders of this cult are in hiding. They have never been held accountable for their actions. Steven Kelley, also known as Peter Amsterdam and Karen Zerby, also known as "Mama Maria" are no where to be found and are living off of the savings of the 40 some years they have received the cults members tithes every single month, gifts, donations and inheritances they forced us to give them. Their cult members were spread out in over 50 countries and at one point there was an average of 13,000 members, plus outside supporters who were friends they called "kings" and "queens" who donated to the cult.
This cult is deceptive and they have hurt many lives. They have blood on their hands.
We will never get back our friends and loved ones we've lost. We will never be paid back the time, sacrifice and dedication we were forced to give them, we will never get back the lost time, but if at least these criminals were held accountable for their actions, it would be some sort of relief to us all.

This cult has systemically abused children and been involved human trafficking.
Do not give them money! So not associate with them! If you meet a member, alert authorities.

I was born into this and was a victim of institutionalised physical, sexual and psychological abuse from age 3 until I escaped at 15. I was trafficked, denied an education, and denied medical care. My story is featured in docuseries, 'children of the cult'. The current leaders are paedophilic criminals living off the profits of forced child labour. This vile cult and it's evil leadership must be held accountable.
