This cult has systemically abused children and been involved human trafficking.
Do not give them money! So not associate with them! If you meet a member, alert authorities.

Destructive cult. Steer clear!
February 17, 2023

This cult, also known as the Children of God is a dangerous and destructive cult which ruined the lives of many young people born into it. It is one of the cults that has the highest suicide rates. Some of these young people who took their lives were my friends who deserved a better life. All of these young people struggled with mental illnesses caused by their upbringing in the cult which was extremely abusive. Sexual abuse towards minors was condoned by the leadership of the cult in their publications, as well as severe physical abuse and a variety of abusive and humiliating punishments, i.e.: solitary confinement, silence restriction, hard labor, etc.
Some of these punishments caused severe bodily harm and long term emotional trauma and other mental issues.
The children in this cult were exploited to get funds for the "mission." Day in and day out they were used to bring money through busking on the streets, selling cult material door to door, in stoplights, etc.
We were denied a proper education.
We were denied medical care because it went against the cults beliefs.
Most of us were raised by strangers in the 30 some communes we grew up in during our lifetime. At some points away from our parents and loved ones. Sometimes we couldn't see our parents for up to a whole month because they were off in some meetings held by the cult leadership in another city. A lot of the abuse happened to us while our parents were away.
The cults leaders believed in seperating the families in order to create one big family, which they called "The one wife vision."
This belief caused an awful lot of damage. Most families were broken and to this day are completely dysfunctional.
The leaders of this cult are in hiding. They have never been held accountable for their actions. Steven Kelley, also known as Peter Amsterdam and Karen Zerby, also known as "Mama Maria" are no where to be found and are living off of the savings of the 40 some years they have received the cults members tithes every single month, gifts, donations and inheritances they forced us to give them. Their cult members were spread out in over 50 countries and at one point there was an average of 13,000 members, plus outside supporters who were friends they called "kings" and "queens" who donated to the cult.
This cult is deceptive and they have hurt many lives. They have blood on their hands.
We will never get back our friends and loved ones we've lost. We will never be paid back the time, sacrifice and dedication we were forced to give them, we will never get back the lost time, but if at least these criminals were held accountable for their actions, it would be some sort of relief to us all.
