This company is absolutely ridiculous! I purchased an amazon gift card for $346 with the understanding that i would receive it instantly. They sent an email requesting me to verify myself. I attempted to use the code that they text me but their site kept saying the code was invalid. Finally i called them and followed their instructions. They sent a new email requesting my photo id. After waiting 15 minutes for it to be submitted it resulted in a cancellation of my order. So now i have almost $400 tied up waiting on the cancellation to work itself through the paypal refund process. Terrible. Absolutely terrible!

So i was planning to get 2 50$ playstation store gift cards and we got the first one quite quickly and it worked which is good then my sister bought another and it said it was still not manually and so we decided to send an email and wait it's been 9 hours and no email back or any information it would've been a 4 or 5 if it wasn't so slow?

My friend received a gift card only redeemable in Australia and cardcloset has not responded despite their guarantee of a workable code. Forcing me to cancel my Payment t. Terrible service.not even worth one star

I understand the concerns of everyone who is weary of the verification process on this site so I'm writing the review just to clear up the issue. I work for a very large company that sells lawn equipment and generators and we implement a similar kind of verification process to weed out any fraud. People use others credit cards and accounts all the time and this verification helps to keep the customer secure as much as the seller. In the case of card closet, it's entirely necessary for them to verify because they deal with money codes. They need to cover their business with proof like that because anyone can grab the code, spend the money and turn around and claim they never authorized the purchase through PayPal or their credit card. Having your id and photo on file to show that, yes, you actually made the purchase is proof that they can use to dispute any charge disputes made by the customer. I purchased amazon gift cards on this site yesterday and submitted my verification. The whole process took all of 15 minutes and I got my codes. After I claimed the codes I got a message from PayPal asking me if I actually authorized this purchase. If I had said no and they didn't have proof of my I'd and photo and PayPal took back the money, the company would have no way of proving otherwise. I'd be more concerned about a site like this that doesn't have any kind of verification. With online shopping becoming the norm, there are more and more people who will take advantage of the anonymity and commit fraud. If you can't handle the extra steps it takes for companies to protect themselves and the consumer, then drive to the store.

Don't give away your info! The policies of the site have changed and now they require a quite shady verification process where you have to either call them to a US based phone (giving your Name, Purchase ID and phone number), or upload a photo of yourself holding the order number, AND another photo (check this out) where you have to show your ID/Passport to the camera. This is the first time a company asks me for such sensible information to buy Video Game Giftcards! Stay way from it!

I paid 100$ but they sent steam gift card with 0$ balance. I don't recommend it. Support tried to help me but results.

First 2 orders were great. After that, after attempting to process orders for the SAME product, every attempt failed - cancelled right after successfully using the same information. No help from the people responsible ~ only ' we'll get back to you ' and of course never did, leaving me in the dark about the reason my requests were cancelled. No one wants to be lied to.

I don't understand how this site got great reviews. I ordered a couple of amazon gift cards for me and my family and payed with PayPal. Instead of "instant service" they have you verify yourself with a photo and government id or make you wait 24 hours just to cancel your order. Never have I gone through such a terrible experience with an online order, would NEVER recommend.

I placed an order, they requested for a pic of me with order number which i did, I submitted on their website and via email, they canceled the order irrespective - Know why? I am black and can't buy iTunes card from their stores.

Be aware the site is faulty and may double charge you and process duplicate orders. Company says too bad. I won't be purchasing through them again.

I attempted to buy iTunes gift cards and the purchase didn't go through for some reason- at the time of payment my balance did lower, but without any notice when I went to check order status my order had been canceled.

I realised the email I used to create my account was different from the email I used for my PayPal, so I remade a new account using that email because at the time I believed that to be the reason. But that wasn't the case.

An email address was linked as ‘support', which I messaged, photos linked with proof. I got told that my account had been blocked and would be investigated for fraud- yet I managed to continue the process all over again (granted, it failed in the end)

Don't do this to yourself, get what you need anywhere else :// /

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I ordered a google play card. Only to be told they only work in the USA!.
I asked for a refund as I live outside the USA and it was useless to me.
They point blank refused, when it would have been the most professional way to resolve things.
So a day later I changed my phone to a USA address and re-registered in the Google play shop. Only to be told the card had already been redeemed!.
So obviously the card had been sold to someone else.
A very unprofessional approach to a problem that could have been so easily resolved.
Stay away at all costs!.

I was concerned at first when my bank was charged and I had to verify my identity by sending a picture of myself with an ID. I reached out to the support team which cleared my worries with the speed and courtesy they gave me when conversing. It also made me feel a little bit better knowing that I could also mask any system information on my ID. All in all, card closet is pretty solid and they have my business.

Believe you me, this is definitely the best place to be for your gift cards. They never ever disappoint. They just keep blowing our minds every time with uniqueness, efficiency and satisfaction. Try them and be amazed just like me. I stay out here in Nigeria and it feels so safe and quick using THECARDCLOSET.

This company is a scam I paid 544.99 for a $500 Amazon gift card and when I went to use it Amazon's website said: "The gift card code you entered has already been redeemed." PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! IT IS A SCAM!

They tell you that you are going to receive the product instantly. Then forced me to verify my identity after I paid. Had to take a picture next to a piece of paper. Still waiting for my product. Just atrocious all around

I was greatly disappointed to learn the card codes do not work in Canada. I did not see any clear indication of this on the website.

THEY SENT ME A CARD THAT WAS SCANNED. THIS COMPANY IS SHADY. I WENT TO REDEEM THE CODE AND IT SAID THAT THE CARD HAD ALREADY BEEN REDEEMED. I TRIED TO GET IT RESOLVED AND THEY CLAIMED I WAS LYING AND REFUSED TO ISSUE A REFUND. THEY ARE A SCAM AND I ALREADY REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB. STAY AWAY BECAUSE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

THEY CHARGED ME FOR A PAYPAL CHARGE BUT MY PP ACOUNT WAS CLOSED IN NOVEMBER. THE CARD CLOSET CHARGED ME IN JANUARY 4TH. THIS IS FRAUD

To be honest it's excellent service it's so fast and safe I hope it will be continue to use it again and again

This is ridiculous! You haven't even verified my information. Yet you have already charged my card! Void the transaction and refund my card immediately! ***Update, I still feel the site is a scam, but they did refund/reverse the charges on my credit card. After the second automated reply just confirming for me to verify my information again with picture and picture of my drivers license which I did not provide. I firmly stated they needed to void transaction as they charged card without the verification they were requesting and that I reported the charge as fraudulent to my bank.

In order to get your card, at least the first time you use their service, you in fact do have to either call them and leave a voice mail with your name order number and phone number, or upload a pic of yourself with your ID or paper copy of your order. That puts you at severe risk of identity theft. If I would of have known that beforehand, would not have ordered.
