This is a website where nepotism between long time users and admin abuse are very common. I can't recommend user interactions on this site.
Maybe some general information can be retrieved but one is better off with looking for more professional forums for that operating system or try sub-forums of known professional forums.
This forum is a nightmare.
My personal experience was when I joined and pretty actively started helping other people out with valuable tips it seemed that some old time users got pissed by me stealing the show or something like that and then after about 70 posts in 8 days helping other users i got permanently banned without any explanation or any administrative contact at all.
I also contacted other new users to find out they experienced similar things.
If you are already recently became a user of this board just check how many users are banned and then look what their posts were... you will understand.
This site is trying to please their root user base and if there is fresh wind they will freeze you out just for fun.
