I order only what your site shows that you have in stock. Your service has improved over the past few months but last year it was poor. I have purchased from Tackle Direct for over 10 years and will continue to do so as long as an item shows in stock.

I don't remember which time I ordered sputnik weights but they are terrible. Manufacture needed to use longer arms and should have used beads instead of the little rubber grommets. Most my my weights are missing them because they came off in the surf.

This order was fine. My order on 4 May 2000 must be lost in space. I have not heard anything about it since ordering. Called twice and hung up after waiting 45 minutes to the recording. Order #*******. I thought it was in stock when I ordered, but evidently it was not. I emailed tackle direct 2 days ago and have not received a personnel response. Not a happy camper at this time.
I have zero complaints whenever I use Tackle Direct. I usually take advantage of one of your many sales and have always been satisfied with the product, prompt delivery and the personal note received with the product. Your company has a family feel about it and I think that is quite wonderful in this industry. After all, fisher-people are usually quite friendly and helpful and thats what you guys are. No rocket science here. Efficient, reasonably priced and well stocked. I live six hours from Saltwater but do a fair amount of fishing of the coast of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, NY and Delaware. Having access to a broad array of quality saltwater fishing gear is why I shop with you.
Tackle Direct never responded. Item Indicated it was in stock however it took about 8 days to ship. Overall it took almost 2 weeks to get my product. I could have bought it at the local boat store for same price and picked up same day. Done with Tackle Direct.
So far so good. I used some to marinate squid for Porgy. I haven't been able to get out yet. I'll let you know how it works.
Tackle Direct is great and I will continue to buy from them. I was just disappointed in the waders I purchased. I paid a good amount of money for waders that only have one pouch inside of them. Thought there should've been more

Well I ordered the item well over 3 weeks ago and it just arrived yesterday. I was not provided an update on the order until last week. I have received my items however I missed several good fishing days.
I tried to use a gift certificate that was given to me which was a hassle to do, every other website I've ever ordered from and had a gc you enter it when you pay, not before like your website. I had to call customer service for assistance with this. Once the order was placed I received an email notifying me of my order and I noticed I was being charged the full amount. Once again I called customer service to confirm the gc had gone through and after a couple attempts to make sure it had I hung up. The full amount was devoted from my checking account until the day it was shipped. I've never dealt with any company that does this. You authorized the gc when you sold it. Why do you withhold the full amount of the purchase and then credit it back to the buyer. For this reason alone I'm hesitant to order from Tackle Direct again.
Great website, only dissatisfaction was on shipping. I paid extra for 'irregular' package (fishing rods) and shipping went Fedex. However, they passed it on to US Postal service and since I have a mailbox in a group area, they could not leave it there. As a result, it wasted another 2 days (weekend) and I had to drive to the post office to pick up something that I had paid for to be delivered directly to me.
I ordered a reel for my husband and then gave it to him for his birthday. He decided on a different reel so we have been trying to exchange the other reel but your poor customer service has prevented us from doing so. We tried calling and it said due to the high volume of calls to email it seems that email takes longer than answering the phone due to the fact that my husband emailed you over three days ago and we have yet to receive a response for a return Authorization number we are just trying to exchange the product and it's easy to buy from you but not exchange or return very disappointed in your customer service would have already been handled if you just answered you phone
I know there are problems with USPS but for some reason this package took a lot longer than any other fishing supply company. Since it was taking so long, I ordered from other company 10 days later and that order was received earlier.
I purchased a three piece travel fishing rod for reef fishing in Belize. The rod broke with the first fish I hooked. It took me several weeks after my return to finally make return and refund arrangements. Otherwise, the process was satisfactory.
I live in the same state as the Tackle Direct warehouse. It took 18 days to receive my order. I contacted customer service several times and eventually received emails that didn't really explain much. During those 18 days, I ordered a fishing pole from a company in Connecticut, and received it two days later. Do you see my issue?
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
