Ordered a Daiwa crankin rod but the rod I received had a different handle then what was pictured in the order. I like my rods to have the split grip style handles and I thought that's what I ordered. But when it came in it was a solid grip handle. Guess that's what you get for ordering online.
I changed my order via phone call... 2nd try... 1st try gave up after being on hold 30 min. I understand difficulties due to Covid, so not a big deal. But, I never received email confirmation that the change order was completed. Nonetheless... when my order was received it was correct, so all's well that ends well!

Ordered June 20th, 2020. It took two weeks for the package to arrive, only to receive the wrong items. Could not call for help because of "Covid 19". Sent email July 7th (next day) explaining problem. No response until now. I have had VISA dispute the charge (since I could not get a response).
Please add to your item description Shimano Ultegra C14+ 5500 and ******* have a manual bail. I thought my items were defective. Shimano should advertise these as the same so i don't fault tackle direct.

Due to an "in stock" shortage, the item I ordered was placed on back-order resulting in a delayed delivery. But, as promised, once Tackle Direct was able to acquire what I had order, the order was shipped immediately.

I received an order which contained a wrong item. When I was finally able to contact them, I explained the situation and they found that they had received a shipment from the vendor with an item mislabeled. The problem was quickly resolved and I was sent the proper product.

Overall I am happy with the product I bought. I was not able to purchase the product directly through your website because I needed it to be delivered to an FPO address. Your customer service representative was able to assist and quickly resolve that issue. However, the points for the purchase were never applied to my account ( I have not attempted to resolve that yet). Overall positive experience.
I bought this for use in bead work, colors are awesome. I am a fishergal, so there are some great knots I use in my bead work, this doesn't seem to hold the knot I use, too slick, wants to come undone I used Kevlar for years, but what I had is no longer made, and braided line can't be used in bead work, still looking. This would be awesome for fishing, just not for what I need it for. My son in law would love this for his next catch.
I ordered several Rapala lures from TackleDirect. Once purchased, I received an email stating some of the lures were in stock, several were on back order and some were no longer available. The shipments came several weeks after my initial purchase. The company needs to alert its consumers before purchases are made. Especially when products are not in stock or no longer available.
Likely last purchase with Direct Tackle if my 25 dollar loyalty bonus isn't going to be respected just a little customer service all I'm asking take care of people who spend$ I will be shopping elsewhere if not resolved!
My order was on backorder for over 2 weeks and I finally called to find out the status. It's a good thing I did call because my order was cancelled and had I not called I never would have received my items.
I have always been very pleased with Tackle direct shopping and shipping. However, My last 3 orders I did not recieve until a month later, some of it came but not the whole order, customer service was slow to respond back to me. I had to end up cancelling several items that I still have not seen. I will continue to shop with you, but a couple more times like this and my business and my fishing buddys will go elsewhere. I hope this is all COVIDS fault as with everything going on in this world, nevertheless I hope things improve on your end.

This time, they were obviously overwhelmed by the Covid lockdown issues, so shipping and service were understandably very slow, thus the low rating this time.
It was hard to tell if products was on back order during the order process and didn't receive my until after MN fishing opener. Took to long to receive my whole order. Will not order anything from tackleDirect again.
Great inventory and really efficient checkout process. I was a little surprised that the order was shipped via USPS rather than UPS but it all worked out fine once I understood the differences in the shipping options. Always a good experience with TakleDirect.
When I first ordered the reel, it showed you had them in stock. When I called c/s because reel didn't arrive, it was told they didn't have them in stock and they had to go through another vendor to get it for me.
I can understand that some what, but it really was longer than stated in your customer contact to me and more than I expected.
But I do have the reel and Iam happy with it.

Awesome service! Order arrived on time,but I was unaware that I was missing an item.then I get a email saying your item has been shipped and I double check the invoice and sure enough I was missing an item.luckily next day I got the missing item,wasn't even worried!
I gave you comments when this order was botched up and you didn't do a thing. I had to follow up on this mess: 1) you offered a service 2) I paid you for that service 3) you failed to provide that service due to problems with you system 4) I had to ask for a refund of what I paid for the service and you didn't pay it 5) I had to follow up on this failure 6) you insisted on a copy of the receipt for what I paid for this service before refunding what you had already taken from me (which you should have done at the very start without any prompting from me).
Took some time for customer service to get back with me on information on my item but it was due to COVID-19. All in all good service, good products at the best price! Would definitely use tackledirect again for my tackle needs.
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
