The rod was out of stock and TD ordered it from Daiwa, than TD shipped it, next day delivery. It took about 2 weeks+. I was kept informed about the delay.

After multiple emails I finally received this order however I am still waiting for order ******* that was placed before this order referred to in this email. It is ridiculous that there is no communication of why order has. It shipped. Poor customer service.

I live very remotely on a US Army Base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and it is very hard to get larger items shipped here. Not only was TackleDirect able to send me a 7'2" rod without any damage, they were also the cheapest supplier! Thanks!
TD had the spare spool that I was looking for but one thing I would have also been interested in purchasing would have been a waterproof container that I could store the spare spool in. You would think a sturdy container that can keep the spool protected while in your tackle bag or box would be easy to find, but it is not.
For things that are out of your control like shipping costs, there is nothing you can do to bring the costs down. Other than that you have to make money in order to stay open your prices are competitive. I like your selections and your layout
My order took months to ship and I was not informed at purchase that it was on back order. I even contacted customer service after a month or so of my order not shipping and I was still told it would ship within a week and then it took another month before my order even shipped. I will take my business elsewhere even if it costs more in the future.

I ordered 4 rods and one of them had a broken eyelet. I contacted customer service and the man I spoke with was very kind and helpful. He sent a replacement out immediately and I received it in a few days.
I love these purple xtratufs, I get complimented all the time and people think I'm an Alaskan native while I'm working up here haha they are certainly the boots to go with... I even wear them more than my nice new hiking boots since I find the slip on casual to be more comfortable. Good price and color selection. Thank you!
I only received a portion of my order. I emailed customer service at Tackle Direct with no response. None of the tracking links sent with the order confirmation work. You can't track the order at all with what was sent. I've been waiting over two weeks now. The mail order experience at tackle Direct is awful.
I haven't received one order that was placed in early May and I received an incorrect and damaged item on a different order that I'm still waiting on a reply about. Most of my orders have been seamless and have arrived in a timely manner without any issues.
Item was listed as in stock but the day after I ordered it l received a email stating it was back ordered. I sent an email to cancel the order but it was not answered for a week and the order shipped out a day or two before. I decided to keep the item for future use but had to source it else where to get it earlier.
1 out of stock purchases was delivered 3 weeks after order was placed.i am not complaining, quite happy my order was in the system and delivered in a timely manner. I have recommended Tackle Direct to quite a few of my fishing buddies
It was very confusing to get an order spread out over several shipments. It made it hard to keep track of -- I suspect this is the case for you to, because I got an email that asked "Did you get everything you ordered?".
Great experience. The only issue was, my reel was spooked with braid and they forgot to pick the handle before shipping. It was immediately corrected and shipped out overnight, great recovery!

I wasnt informed that my order was on backorder. I had to find out myself on the website. Wrote two emails and no response. Finally had to call the service number to get an answer. The products are great. I am american and I cant get those brand names I know best here. Thats why I ordered through you.
Product said it was in stock when I bought it. Then received an email saying it was out of stock. Emailed 5 times asking to cancel order got one response saying couldn't cancel order was in the process of being shipped. Still today I'm waiting for the order. July 3. Tracking number gives me nothing not able to track.
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
