I orderd a new tuner for my acoustic guitar. They shipped it out to me quickly and free shipping on top of that. I will continue to recommend Sweetwater to my friends and Family. I've never had a bad experience with them. They carry quality merchandise and accessories.
These people are so helpful and so one on one. I see no reason to go into a shop now. Got good advice on strings. They may have been a dollar higher but their personal service is worth it! Forget that I was only buying strings... they treated me like I was buying something major!

There's a quite a few choices when it come to buying musical equipment and frankly the prices are typically comparable between the big 4 or 5. What makes the different then is customer service and support and I have always been impressed and never disappointed by Sweetwater's folks.
I don't even remember how I first heard of Sweetwater, all I know is that I am glad that I did! Not to sound too hokey, but they have an incredible selection, great prices and their customer service is second to none. I have a great relationship with my sales guy Mark. He gives great advice when I have questions about equipment. Don't listen to the naysayers on here with their negative reviews. They are dead wrong. Sweetwater is the best!
This bussiness was recommended for several colleagues and also some friends, and i subscribed to the page and i made a purchase, i made a purchased and they sent me a receipt, 2 days after i received an email staying the item is out of stock, for me this is very unprofessional they let me to do all the enrollment and also send me a receipt with a item that never showed it was out of stock, and the person who emailed to me from this company it said maybe its an error, but guess what? I just search the product again in the website and it is still available and i doesnt say its out of stock, when they actually dont have it... very dissappointed of this business, i will never buy from them
Just awful customer service they will make you wait for an eternety I called them 8 or 5 times a couple days ago and they treaded me like I was involved in a fraud they wouldn't listen or anything they just tried to avoid me because I put my cousins address as my shipping and billing address becuase I went to visit my family in Turkey. Such an awful evil company. Just don't expect any customer service or respect what so ever!

I've been buying music gear for a long time, I'm 62 and been playing since I was 14. I have made several purchases from SweetWater over the past few months. From the assigned Sales Engineer (thanks Mark), to shipment/delivery times and tracking, to customer support and dealing with questions and replacements... They are just the best I've ever dealt with. Hands down. All of that with all the great blog articles, tutorials, and info you can find anything you need and need to know right on the Sweetwater site and YouTube channel. I simply won't buy anywhere else.

When you make a purchase from them, you are automatically assigned a Sales Engineer to help you with your order by answering any questions you may have about the products you intend to purchase. I don't get it. I've thoroughly researched the $5000 eurorack system I committed to when I hit that "place order" button. What questions could I possibly need answering that I couldn't answer myself with a quick google search? Oh, how about, "why did you mysteriously cancel my order after 2 weeks of ghosting me?" These people won't pick up the phone or answer emails. Orders aren't fulfilled until the Sales Engineer gives the "go" signal. But what happens when your Sales Engineer goes AWOL? You sit there waiting for 2 weeks, stressing about whether or not you're going to receive your stuff, and with that amount of money on line, it's impossible to initiate plan B, and go with another vendor. I've sent half a dozen emails trying to get an update on the status of my order, and then one day, the order just disappears completely from my account, with no proof it even existed. And now the system I attempted to purchase is out of stock, so I guess my Sales Engineer didn't even bother to reserve a unit for me. No explanation, no confirmation of cancellation, no responses whatsoever. Well, their loss. I was about to drop 10k easy on new equipment, and I did end up doing just that with a better company that actually values their customers. Don't let their "one on one customer service" act fool you. They are an empty corporate shell of a company. They seriously need to drop this nonsensical sales engineer middle-man BS. Y'all know they're just in it for their employee gear discount.

These guys are amazing. I ordered a fender player stratocaster and a couple of guitar cases, and a bunch of accessories. They had everything I was looking for in one place and in stock also wich is totally awesome. I had a few questions and my sales guy Chris was so helpful and professional and answered me realy fast. They have great prices on tons of music gear. I would absolutely recommend sweetwater to anyone looking for there next buy. Trust me you will not be disappointed... thanks again fellas
I recently searched for a lower cost upgrade from Cubase AI 9.5 to Pro 10.5. I found a great deal at Sweetwater, so I thought. First I called in rather than just placed the order. I got a Sales rep. Brain. Brian happily sells me the download. After a few hours of waiting; the download arrives. I follow the instructions... no versions to be upgraded. Found out I had upgraded to 10.5 which cost more money. Paid it. Got another download. Same problem. Set multiple screenshots of everything all weekend up to today, nearly a week later. Still not working. Sweetwater Sent the wrong upgrade again... WANTED $200 MORE for another download with no attempt to make it right with me paying. Sweetwater Can Kiss my $#*! for trying to hustle a Man for dollar. They thought they had a sucker and made some change on daily interest. Shame on you SWEETWater

I purchased a Kala ukulele from Sweetwater. When Fedex didn't deliver it on the expected date, I was told nothing could be done; I should give them a call. When the ukulele finally did come, it clearly was not new. Someone had glued one strap stud to the bottom of the instrument (Kala doesn't do this) and never even glued on the other. I have tried for 24 hours to reach someone about this, I even sent a photo of it to Ian, my "sales engineer." Nothing. Now I am reading that if I send this uke back for a new one, I will have to pay the shipping for their negligent and potentially dishonest actions. This is an incredibly disappointing first experience with Sweetwater. There will not be a second.
