Sweet Maria's

I have been a green coffee customer of Sweet Maria's for several years, and have been very satisfied with every purchase, except one 2-pound bag of organic SWP coffee. I haven't roasted it often, but it has never smelled like fresh coffee, and tastes bad regardless of the roast value. I asked if I could have a credit refund on my account, but instead received a response saying no one else has complained and suggesting that something may be wrong with my roasting techniques (I've been roasting for 10+ years). In a second response he/she said that they had just brewed some of the coffee and it was quite delicious. I consider these responses rude, defensive, self-vindicating, and not at all customer oriented. After two responses like these, I am saying goodbye to Sweet Maria's.

I have used SM in the past, they were good. I needed a new roaster so I new SM would be helpful, so I ordered my 600$ machine from them. They were sure helpful leading up to me buying the machine. When I had a problem, they would not contact me back. I contacted again, and finally filled out a return merchandise form. They then emailed me but not to help, they sent me to the importer. The importer took care of the problem. Another issue has happened to the same part, the importer is helping again, but again, SM did nothing to help. I even told them that I did not want anything free, just some help. No help whatsoever. If you need green beans I would recommend you order from this site, http://www.burmancoffee.com. Because SM only wants your money, not to service customers.
