Don't waste your time. Branded surveys is much better. Survey junkie is just that. A piece of junk. It should be banned.
Been denied every single survey ever and I use other sites and I have made quite a bit of money. What a horrible ripoff.
Don't believe the BS. This is a scam! You'll spend your precious time answering stupid questions only to be told that you don't qualify for the survey or it's already full. The points you thought you were going to get are then reduced to 2 or 3. Positive reviews have to be fake!
I took the whole survey. Supposed to be 140 points. The survey asked a bunch of questions about wireless service plans and providers. I answered all the questions. When I finished tge survey, they say I don't qualify and give me 3 lousy points instead of 140. So, they stole my time by being sneaks and deceivers. Worthless thieves, in my opinion.
First of all not worth your time put in. Works out to about 90cents to $1 per hour in earnings. Next thing is for wear and tear on your shoulders back and wrists...all for less than $1 per hour...think about it.
Now worst of all are the efforts to extract more info from you in the form of the most personal, yes the most personal details imaginable. Be very careful in this regard. It will happen when you reach a certain earning level, the questions are inserted in the middle of a otherwise generic type survey. Having nothing to do with the survey but some kind of police/armed forces type questioning...Suffice to say it gets really weird.
Don't use this if you aren't a very patient person. You will be turned down from surveys if you aren't a good fit. That can be frustrating at times, but if you continue sticking to it everything will work out. There are plenty of surveys, so no need to worry. Don't expect to get rich ether. They do pay probably the best out of every survey website I've seen, but that isn't saying much. They do pay though, and it's not too complicated to get your money as long as you put in the right information.
I've taken over 100 surveys and at least 25 of them you get all the way to the end and the word ERROR pops up. You advise their customer service department and they tell you they can't do anything unless you have the survey number. ( which is at the very beginning when you first hit the green bar).
That's the only time you see it. Who remember's it?
Survey Junkie is nothing more than a scam site that pretends to be a survey site. They expect you to do these 10-30 minute surveys, only to either:
1) Deny you 95% of the time,
2) Ask for personal information such as an ID (almost no other survey site does this)
3) Pay you literal chicken change for wasting hours of your time
4) Glitch and simply say you weren't qualified after spending 20+ minutes on a survey.
5) Withhold money from you by saying your account wasn't verified (even though it was).
6) Leave you on silent and have almost non-existent customer service
7) Will purposely decrease the amount of surveys you get after you cash out once
And much, much more. This app/site and the people who run it are a bunch of scam artists and I can't wait for the day when their trash@$$ company goes belly up and goes bankrupt. F##k these guys, don't waste your time on these absolute clowns.
I have been using SJ for a few months because I developed agoraphobia and needed a main source of income, this worked for the time being. Here's everything you need to know from my experience.
One, if a survey site does not work, they will continue to keep it up for people to waste their time on
(Today alone I have had 7 surveys not pay me even though I completed them all)
Two, Even if you have screenshotted proof that you got screwed over by a survey, it's not guaranteed you will get your owed pay.
Three, I have sent out professional emails to the company and to a specific survey site. SJ responded and legitimately told me "that's the survey sites issue, we can't fix that" than why are you sponsoring their surveys? The other survey site ignored my email and is still taking peoples answers and giving them nothing in return.
Four, Any survey over 100 points (or $1 in real cash) almost never works once you've been on the site for a month or so. Those surveys will either close their own tab automatically, or you will get a message saying you was lying or being dishonest before you even get into the survey.
Yes, this site will pay you money, but they sponsor surveys that will take and sell your answers whilst purposefully undermanaging their own site so they don't have to pay you. Today alone I have wasted over 4 hours on surveys that has paid me NOTHING.
Attached below is a screenshot of SJ responding to one of my many complaints where I completed a survey and didn't get paid. Read that response. See how much they care, because they don't.
I spent a lot of time completing surveys which were necessary to reach the $5.00 minimum.
When I tried to receive payment, I was requested a camera photo along with my driver's license information. Really? I felt it was to discourage people from getting payment. My advice is not to waste your time.
I have been a survey respondent on this site for a couple of years and everything worked just like other survey sites, you win some, you lose some. Unfortunately, over the past few months something has changed. It's harder to qualify for surveys, some surveys ask for personal information then thank you for your time without sending you back to the SJ landing page. My biggest turnoff was when I spent 45 minutes on a survey, I was thanked for my time, then nothing. I knew it was pointless contacting customer service because they have a standard response. It is outside of their control.
SJ used to be the best in getting better matches so that you could at least make a buck or two but that has changed significantly. I stopped taking surveys for a while because of my negative experience, but may try again only with surveys that do not take up a lot of my time. 10 minutes I can lose, but I will not attempt those longer surveys as it can be a waste of time and a health hazard raising my blood pressure.
More times than not, when you click on a survey, it says the survey is either a) closed or b) not qualified to complete the survey. I can understand that. The only issue I have is sometimes you're halfway through a survey, you spend 10+ minutes answering questions only to get a message right in the middle saying "oh, you're not qualified to do this survey" then it kicks you off mid-survey and you end up getting 0 points. Sometimes you'll get 2-3 pity points from survey junkie just for clicking on it, but kicking you off halfway through a survey is a horrible waste of time. Also, unless you're on it hour after hour, it could take you all day or multiple days just to earn $5 which isn't a lot, but hey, $5 is more than $0. I got my $5 today only because I signed up and they give you bonus points for signing up. Each survey can be between 10-75 points if you complete it. Some more. Most of the higher-point surveys are closed by time you click on them, though. All ask for your zip code, age, birthday, and state you live in. Some ask for your address, but I avoid those.
I signed up from a referral and played the games only to find out my referral didn't get the money owed! I'm saddened by this! They should be locked up!
Do waste your time. You're gonna do all of these surveys, be disqualified for a third of them in the middle of taking a survey, get denied for the others, and never get paid for the little amount they approve. They will steal your information, then tell you you're disqualified. Don't expect to get a dime.
This is the worst site i ever $#*!ing used, not even exaggerating when i tell u it made me cry multiple times. Not only does verification take years even decades, when u finally get it u have to wait a $#*!ing week to get the money u worked HOURS for. Don't even attempt to do this if u have anxiety bc it will $#*! you over.
These survey site is horrible! They say they fixed my problem. I could redeem then they deactivated. My account. Please don't waste your time.
Do you have an emotional attachment to your laundry soap?
Do you get a thrill when you buy car insurance?
These are the idiotic questions some shmuck with an MBA from Nowhere U. Wants you to answer.
These repetetive, nonsensical questions will go on for 20 to 30 minutes for maybe 30 or 40 cents pay... IF you qualify! (You may find yourself answering these bull$#*! questions for 10 minutes... and poof... you're kicked out of the survey..."you're not what we're looking for."
If you somehow manage to endure perhaps a dozen of these surveys and accumulate more than 500 points you can cash out to PayPal, or the payment of your choice.
They lie and don't pay out. They'll tell you you had fake accounts after you completed all the tasks. Don't waste your time.
Do not waste your time with survey junkie. They will cheat you out of compensation every chance they get. I've been with them for six months and I've finally had enough. I've complained to them many times and they just reply with an obvious lie every time. Their compensation is already pitiful and still they cheat you over and over. They disqualify you AFTER completing the survey or just give you 3 to 5 cents for it. Now, they won't let me cash out my balance unless I upload my ID to them. I don't trust them and I'm not doing it. Why would they need that after 6 mos of taking their surveys? I emailed them to go to hell. There are other survey companies who won't cheat you. Don't even think about using Survey Junkie. I wish someone had warned me.
It pays out but more often than not you can get to the end of a survey ranging from 5 - 20 minutes and it crashes. It takes a really long time to get to a survey that actually gives you a full reward too.
Answer: I'm having the same issue rip I don't think we're getting it back
Answer: Don't bother. They won't pay you. Survey Junkie is a scam.
