I have ADHD (inattentive type), which makes planning meals ahead of time virtually impossible. I don't think about food until I'm hungry so I grab whatever is available and quick. During the work week, I ate fast food every day. Now I can eat REAL food without having to give it much thought and get actual nutrition. I have only tried 2 meals so far. They were good but, in my opinion, a little bland. My opinion may change as I grow accustomed to eating healthier.
I really enjoy ready made meals - ingredients are clear for those of us with food intolerances; taste is great - they used spices (yay!); variety is reasonable, and customer service is responsive.
We've been with Sunbasket for several years. The creative menu choices, quality ingredients, and easy preparation instructions make cooking a joy. Whenever there is an issue, their customer service team is extraordinary and always handles things to my satisfaction. Shipping has been an occasional problem but I don't fault Sunbasket for that, and they have helped rectify all shipping issues.
Sunbasket offers fresh and organic ingredients; clear recipe cards; enough vegan options; on-time delivery; good communication; and easy resolution to any issues. I am surprised that the reviews aren't more positive; our experience has been great, and we recommend Sunbasket to friends.
Honestly the best meal kit ever- by far. Yes things go wrong from time to time but they make it really easy to resolve issues. Portions are larger than most kits and most meals are quite good and fresh. Some duds but over all I keep coming back to this after trying new options
To be fair to Sun Basket, a lot of people complain about inability to cancel subscription. I was almost there. Took me 25 minutes to finally find the phone number. Links take you nowhere. Finally, found the phone number under Help and it was a breeze. Customer Service was excellent. The few meals we ate were ok. Not the best but not bad. What had me calling to cancel was the first charge that was a full charge. You receive a discount on the first order. Home Chef has much better meals, quality is higher and much more organized in the package. Plus, they are $20 cheaper. They cost $60 a week, my second bill from Sun Basket was $80. I can buy a lot of groceries for $80. They just can't compare to Home Chef and not worth the cost.

I have been a customer since 2015. The last few months it seems the service has changed dramatically. My orders have not arrived and the last one has completely wrong dinners and then half of the ingredients were missing. I agree that getting in touch with them is virtually impossible.

I have been using Home Chef for nearly a year but was inticed by Sunbasket's kid friendly menu and time saving recipes. Unfortunately my first order had spoiled food and the meat cuts were small and very fatty. Sunbasket is not one of the cheaper options out there, and I know that is tied to the organic offering, but if the food arrives spoiled and the basics of packing and delivery are in question it is not a company I want to stick with.

We love Sunbasket. There is no commitment, the pricing is fair, the menu selection is good. The meals are delicious, with quality ingredients and easy to follow recipes. Any time we have had an issue, the customer service has been amazing. Absolutely top notch!
I love getting a rainbow of different recipes every week especially with being plant based and gluten free. Love organic and all the fun veggies we get to try! Have been using sunbasket for 3 years!

After staying with sunbasket another week we had no other problems. I started ordering new and unusual dishes rather than some of my favorites. We have really enjoyed everything especially any and all Asian dishes. All food fresh, the sauces are great I've been getting different ones each week.

Still love the menus, this summer the produce freshness slipped to the point that I suspended my deliveries I will go back in the fall. In the meantime Marley spoon has been pretty good about fresh produce
I love this company so much! Not only do they have an incredible amount of yummy options for my plant based lifestyle but their customer service to resolve any and all issues is impeccable! We get a Sunbasket box every single week and we look forward to it. I have tried other meal delivery services and their ingredients, freshness, and unique flavors and meals did not even come close to that of sun basket. In the last five or more years of using it I rarely had a late box or a missing ingredient and everything is always fresh. We love Sunbasket and will continue to use them for a long time! We also love that they have now added the option to buy snacks and proteins. It makes our life so much easier since we both work and are very busy.
Simple reasons I love this... organic, good tasting, healthy, reasonably priced, fast to prepare. I wonder at people saying its pricey. If you tried to buy these ingredients you would pay the same or more and have waste. My husband watches each penny we spend (a good thing) so he can tell we spend the same or less and since he's eating the meals, he would be the first to suggest stopping if it isn't tasty and a good value exchange. He's happy. I am happy. We've lost weight simply by portion control and healthier foods. Sold!
I went onto sun basket to check out their menu. Somehow without me knowing my account was reactivated. I never received any email or notification. I only found out when my PayPal account was charged $80. I immediately contacted sun basket and out in a claim with PayPal. Of course they did not get back to me until it was too late to cancel the order according to them. I never even received an email letting me know an order had been placed. They have refused to refund my money. I find this to be poor customer service and dishonest business practice. If the only way they can get business is by deceiving people I think it says something about their product. I would advise not going on their site at all.

They sent me a box that I had cancelled and then refused to make it right. Said they would give me 1/2 of the $85 dollar charge. Customer service is horrible, long wait times and poor resolutions. I am going to make sure people are warned about this company
Always fresh! Always delivered on time! Easy preparation and fun to prepare. My husband has prepared several of the meals also. First time he has ever made an entire dinner. Every meal has been delicious! Very thankful for this service..

So good, love this company. Excellent customer service, excellent delivery, eco-aware, great communication, really amazing choices, prices and fantastic food.
Watch out for their "coupon". I got 60% off and scheduled it for about 3 weeks later since those were the meals I wanted. Got an email that I got 86 dollars off my first delivery. Cool. When it was time to be charged for it they charged me the full amount (143 freaking dollars). I don't think so. You also can't cancel on their website like every other service out there. You have to call or contact them. I have no idea how the food tastes and I don't even care. They are terrible. There are plenty of these services out there who are better than this and don't make you jump through hoops to cancel. The most you can do without contacting them is skipping 6 weeks. Avoid avoid avoid.

Charged me over $100 for meals after I had already paused my account. Packaging is the most wasteful I have ever seen and meals are not good. Do not recommend this company at all.
