Worked fine for a year. Got to where it would not lift trailer; had it "repaired" and found that the up-down switch is really mickey mouse and got broken during repair. Bought new one for big bucks, installed it and all went well for six months. Began putting a bucket over the jack to keep rain off.
Last trip it quit again and I ain't buying another switch. I can put up another $150 and get a 4500 pound jack that is much faster and, hopefully, more weather resistant.
Wrench they furnish for manually raising or lowering might work if trailer is empty but with a load, forget it. I used a 3/8 drive, 18 inch ratchet and even that wore me out. So, I now carry a 10 ton floor jack with me just to hook up and unhook my trailer until I can get a new tongue jack.
