This is the worst company! They are liars and will say anything to get your money. Quality assurance told me the foreman would be able to adjust the price based on the furniture I had. This didn't happen and I had to pay double of what I was told. Do not use them! If you are moving do not use a broker.

Worst experience I could possibly imagine.

Told me they'd be there by 10am on Saturday. 630pm Friday night they changed it to 12-2
At 230 they texted and changed it to by 430. Showed up at 515.
This is the "moving van" they showed up in. Unmarked, smashed up dirty dodge ram pickup and a small, unmarked trailer.
The two "movers" were ukranian immigrants (the one told me so) only one of which could sorta speak English. He did mention he was scared of Trump being elected bc he would end the funding for the war AND he'd have to go back to Ukraine.The guys were early to mid 20s.
My quote total was just under 5k. My box count was accurate, but that quickly sky rocketed by another 2500.
I had no choice bc I had to leave. So they start packing and that tiny trailer is already half full with other stuff. Of course they couldn't fit all my stuff in their tiny trailer (that already had someone else's stuff). Luckily I was able to squeeze more stuff on my truck and trailer...not all of it, a Lotta stuff got left behind.
I had to pay them 3890 that day, but wouldn't accept credit card, only cash or check (I had previously given my deposit by credit card, this was never communicated that they wouldn't accept it later)
So they didn't know who to make the check out to. Ended up being some Russian name that sounded like it came out of a James bond film. I couldn't repeat it for a million dollars.
Whatever, did it and it was supposed to be done. It's now 1030 Friday night. They say they have to deliver Sunday morning...so I got 4 hours of sleep and drove 1100 miles. I get to the house in FL ontime, tired af. At 11(when they said they'd be there) they said they would show up at 2.
At 230 they texted and said they couldn't deliver because the check hadn't cleared yet.
Of course the check hadn't cleared yet, they deposited it on Saturday (at the earliest) and its now Sunday.
Then I had to call my bank, cancel my check and venmo "Maksym Timofieiev" just to get ti show up. They finally show up at 530pm. Pretty sure some of my $#*! is missing, and they broke our dresser

They are still horrible. On July 1st, 2024 they offered to compensate me to delete my review. I told them to refund all my money and then id delete it. Of course they didn't entertain that idea. Even worse of a business then I originally thought. I hope they get investigated

Helped my mom with the move. We were having trouble choosing a carrier. Our neighbor gave us the number for Star Van Lines. They assisted with packing, loading, and unloading. It turned out to be cheaper than we had anticipated. I brought our neighbor a bottle of whiskey as a thank you for the advice.

Chose the company based on reviews and settled on Star Van Lines. We had no trouble getting into a narrow alley for loading from the backyard. The driver wore a bright vest and set up traffic cones. Unloading went smoothly as well.

Guys from StarVanLines took care of my move. They loaded my two terrariums with care. Emil wasn't afraid to handle my two-meter python. The move went well, and we even got some great photos.

This is my second time using starvanlines, and as always, they did an excellent job! Came on time and finished in the allotted time. I'm hoping this is the last move I do for a while, but I defiantly will be using them again!
