It looks like a scam. They gather your information without your permission and there is no way you can delete them.

Applying for jobs through StartWire will result in a RIDICULOUS amount of SPAM in your email box. You will get numerous emails all with the same redundant content. It's beyond SPAM, it's downright abusive and obnoxious. It is highly recommended that you apply for jobs using a company website and avoid third parties like startwire whose only purpose is is to jam your inbox with useless garbage. If you absolutely need to use this sleezy outfit because the company you are applying for offers no alternative, make sure you unsubscribe and mark as SPAM.

SCAM. I applied for a job and after I submitted the resume it told me the position was unavailable. Now theyve been spamming my email to the point where I may have to create a new one. Multiple recruiters and bots have been emailing me EVERY 10 MINUTES FOR THE PAST 4 DAYS. I HAVE RECIEVED OVER 200 EMAILS. Even when I send the emails to spam, and unsubscribe, I get new emails from numerous email addresses from "Recruiters" from Smart Wire. STOP F*CKING SPAMMING ME. SPAMMING WILL NOT MAKE ME WANT TO WORK WITH YOUR COMPANY. IT WILL HOWEVER MAKE ME GO TO THE BBC AND GET YOUR COMPANY INVESTIGATED.

Like the other reviewers, I noted that there were a lot of emails, but they all can be unsubscribed to. But I like that I get all those jobs coming to me and not having to go search for them. If you don't like email, definitely use the unsubscribe button. But if you don't like having to search, then you can just open the emails.
