4/3 - I ordered and did not get an estimate of delivery
4/7 - Looked online. Status was "being reviewed". Called and was told the delivery date was being determined and I would get an answer back.
4/10 - Called again. This time told order would arrive between 4/19-4/25. I said it was needed 4/15 for an install 4/16. Since could not make my date, I was cancelling order. Person helping me said they would try to improve the date and put me on hold. Came back and said they would try to make the shipment arrive the 15th or 16th.
4/15 - Arrived
So on the one hand, great customer service getting the shipment to me on my due date.
On the other hand, I would prefer not having to make direct calls in order for this to happen. Why not give a shipping estimate to me via the shopping cart, or via email?
There were some issues with your systems and my order was pending for day until i called. I also meber received a confirmation email. However, after i called they were very gracious and overnighted our items. Thank you very much for the great costumer service after you realized there were mistakes!
Straightforward website - ordered what I needed for a costuming project, but my order arrived in a bent tube.
The lighting gels I ordered were crinkled, and I contacted the store for advice (at least in flattening out the creases that UPS caused), but the store has not contacted me back.
Shopping was fine. I would give it a 5 star rating except that the check out page is frustrating. The buttons for edt and remove address don't work well.
Shipping rate is a bit ridiculous but the products you sell are high quality. I would buy more often from your company if your shipping rates were reasonable.
My crank stand arrived broken, presumably from shipping. SLS was quick to respond to my issue and am now waiting on replacement parts.we'll see if they ever arrive.
I'm very dissatisfied with this product. Both were to be used for outdoor lights, but began to melt within minutes. Not what I expected from a stage light cover.
I would like a refund.
There are two different FLK bulbs. I'm a college theatre director, and therefore tech director by attrition, but not training; I would feel more confident in my purchase if there was a description of how the two FLK bulbs are different or which gets used by which lighting instruments.
You guys are great! The local UPS driver who left the package at the wrong address, not so much. Which is not something you can do anything about. You've been added to my vendor list!
Have not used them yet, but appear to be perfect with the addition of extension cords. Ordered them on a tues and were here here on fri! Great delivery time!
Stage lighting store had some very specialized products that was challenging to find elsewhere. The ordering process was simple and the product arrived promptly.

Website is easy to get around on. Had some problems with one item showing up in my shopping cart, but the 3rd try with it was the charm. Will definitely be back.

The StageLightingStore's website made it easy to find the Rosco gels I needed. Material arrived quickly and well packed. The performers were thrilled with the results on our stage.
Easy to use, was able to find what I needed using the search box. Had the filter colors I was looking for which were not available on some of the other vendor sites.
Tl;dr the shop is great on all the important things that matter, but there are some annoying nits with the cart software and high shipping prices.

I got an email offer of a discount that expired in 72 hours, applied it, but didn't check out within 72 hours. When I came back to the cart, I still had the discount. I added one item, and the discount went away. I understand 72 hr limitation, but it's frustrating that one mistaken click can take the discount away. Site should enforce whatever policy you want fairly.
I tried to add $10 rush shipping to the order while on the Shopping Cart page and got a Javascript error box that popped up for 0.25sec then disappeared. I couldn't read it.
There is no clarity on when I can expect to receive the order, which I would use to know what shipping I have to pay for to get the arrival date I need. I think they'll provide clarity if you call them, but it's manual.
The shipping prices are higher than I would expect. The surprise at checkout always gives me some resentment.
Aside from these nits, the selection is excellent, the in-stock claims have always been truthful for me, the items arrive quickly, and they're responsive if you have problems or pre-sales questions.
Didn't get a confirmation until I followed up with an email and phone call, but I got a quick and thorough response to my follow up and the products arrived quickly and in good shape.
So far so good. Excited to get our new spotlight. The shipping was an issue. Selected the Freight cost (which was significant) and received the product via UPS.
