SST Superstore

You should beware when buying shirts from the SST Superstore, either at its standalone website (SSTSuperstore.com), or its stores on Amazon, etc., or any authorized SST merchandise. In our experience, and in the experiences shared by many others t-shirt collectors, if you ever try to resell your SST shirt, the SST Superstore will report the shirt to Amazon, eBay, etc., as being an "unauthorized" copy, even though you bought the shirt from SST itself (including shirts bought directly from their website), demanding that it be removed from the marketplace. If it seems like this unethical behavior should be illegal, it appears to be, it violates the "First Sale Doctrine" which allows a customer to legally resell the item they purchased; SST's practice of lying to remove competition in this manner is completely unscrupulous, a characterization that seems to be in line with the many other negative comments reported about this company on sites like Amazon. Certainly in the matter described here, SST Superstore seems to be an incredibly dishonest company that should be held accountable by courts, and should be abandoned by the bands they represent. In our experience, when one buys a shirt from SST Superstore, or directly from any of the bands they represent, then gets tired of wearing it, they will have to donate it or throw it away because SST will fraudulently allege that the shirt is "unauthorized" to prevent buyers from reselling their purchases in the resale market.
