Everything went fine with help of your live chat agent. Need to explain more about multi domain orders while activating. Need to inform that the primary domain has to be selected first and latter one can add additional domain addresses.
Hi Sir/Madam,
For my personal business, I bought an affordable certificate, and browsers accepted it normally. Showing the features and price list on the web site is very professional, in addition, the issuing of the certificate was smooth and straightforward.
For future more expensive certificates I would consider this service again. As well as, I will recommend it to my friends.
Thanks,
Hi
There had one Question let me confused before.
I setting wrong approver email and let me can't get the right mail.
No any button can reset "my ssl cert status" and the status always is waiting for approved.
Although I solve the question by online assist in the end.
But, if the ssl cert status can reset by myself. I think the website will be more easy to use and more suit for user experience.
At last, thank a lot for online service.
Pretty Easy! Quick answers from Chat Support prior to making my decision. On the flip side of it, the number of emails I had received were many but the emails could have been shorter. Activation related email confirmation was not received even after shopper approved email confirmation.
I"m renewing one cert and getting one new one - but I don't see where to enter the domain name. That's very confusing!
Overall I was very disappointed with the instructions (or lack of clear instructions) for how this whole process works. I only deal with this once every year or two so it's hard to remember from time to time, so I really expected you to have step by step instructions that were easy to find. That is not the case and I'm an IT guy, so it was really frustrating trying to figure out what needed to happen when.
I used the chat support on their website after making a mistake with my details and they resolved it within an hour. Overall the site is easy to use, the pricing is very competitive and their support was brilliant so would definitely recommend.
The site made the process as easy as it can be for SSL certificates. There are excellent guidelines on what information you have to supply, and the verification email was returned promptly. I was up and running with the certificate in 15 minutes.
The process is pretty straight forward. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they've updated the certificate activation process and now you can do mostly everything from the web interface, without the need to log into the actual server or generating a Certificate Request.
Fine service, but the Comodo certificate did not contain all the information needed (in terms of chaining).
Had to download from your website to get the missing piece.
This took a while to figure out.
Checkout was dead simple, instructions were clear, and support were incredibly helpful and responsive when I screwed up the CSR on my end.
Easily my best experience purchasing a certificate. Will be a returning customer.
Very satisfied, process was nice and easy. Only thing that could have made it easier was providing a combined CA-bundle and cert, since the certificate needed to be installed on my server that way (and in a particular order).
I haven't even gotten a chance to test my product, so these results are based on what I have seen or read thus far. I cant 'recommend your site to others' because I haven't personally tried your product yet.
Feel free to email me another survey in a week or so, I bet I will be happy with the product and update my survey.
Update: product is great, I'm still educating myself on the use of cert in different applications. The product is as advertised.
Service/delivery was good. Only one thing bugged me (my end user): the intermediate certificate came in as 3 different file like the old days. Please change this and combine in one file, like you do at namecheap. I bought a lot of cert from you (via namecheap) & intermediate file is always combined. I was surprised seeing 3 files here.
Your service is saving me a lot of money on securing my websites. I do have one suggestion. It would be very helpful if you could give your customers visual (like on a website)"step-by-step" instructions on setting up your SSL on services like GoDaddy. I understand you can't do this for all of the hosting providers, but a few of the major ones would be helpful. One more thing...your tech support personnel are EXCELLENT at what they do.
All i did was order and pay. How am i to recommend at this stage?
Update after-sale: all OK, but SSL installation is still too difficult for most. Too many acronyms etc, which means I would buy again, but I would hardly recommend it to others. You should probably do all you can to make the whole process as easy as possible.
As a startup MSP business I have no public records yet, making this purchase of a SSL for my business website more expensive than GoDaddy now that I have to setup services I was not budgeted for. Should have just spent the $60 with GoDaddy and avoided all this hassle. Last time I use this service, or recommend it. I'm out over $300 to setup a phone line and get a lawyer to "verify" who I am. Total waste, never again. Might be good for established companies but terrible for startups.
I'm not sure if the user experience is really that great. For example the remove button in my cart I was looking for several seconds. I would probably also leave the rounded design in past and move forward to more clear and data driven design.
Simple, and straightforward, which is generally how I like to deal with this kind of requirement. I even encountered a minor issue with my order, but it was of my own making and as such I can say the support is also excellent! Thanks guys!
The call back procedure didn't work. It didn't recognise that I had pressed 1 on my phone to receive the confirmation code. This then mean't I had to go down the manual verification route which although quick (2 hours) was longer than the automated process.
Easy to compare prices and difference between "types" of certificates. But for Wildcard choices it was not as simple to differentiate the differences. There were 3 kinds, two of them do Domain validation while the more expensive one does Organization validation. I buy one first to try out the difference. Is it common for WildCard cert to not display the Organization (O=) in Subject of the cert? My previous provided did so
Answer: I have been using them for a couple of years and the certificates work fine for ecommerce.
