As of today 11/8/2017, the SoftwarePug reviews were stellar, so my expectation was quite high.
After I completed my purchase the website presented a message like this "Our Robots are working hard to complete your deployment in 15 minutes". After about 10 minutes I received and invoice email and a second email saying "The product deployment usually takes less than 15 minutes. However, your order has been held for further review. | Be aware that this personal check might require occasional phone calls. Rest assured that we are going to call during the working hours." I responded to the email asking to cancel my order. I am still waiting for a response. I don't know what to do in my current status. Are they going to cancel my order or deliver later than I expected?
I ordered "instant download" product (well known antivirus) online. They charged my cr. Card (bank of america, not some Nigeria prince cr. Card). Next day I called them "where is my product?". They said 'we can't get it from the provider now, but we're working on it". Ok (I'm thinking - why do you sell something that you can't get.) Next day they refunded $ to my cr. Card - no explanation why. What a waste of time and hopes.
I ordered and paid for MS Office 2016 for MAC on 11/8/17 then got messages that my order was under review. Next order approved ready to download which does not work. I could not log into MS for download and the email and phone was not mine. Then MS said I was locked out. I got several cute help messages none that worked then they stopped answering my inquiries. I dont know if this is a fraud scam or not but so far this frustrating experience has been more trouble then its worth. At this point it appears my only choice is to cancel my credit card charge. BEWARE
This company sells fake license keys for brand-name downloadable software (e.g. ESET NOD32). Customers attempt to use these keys to activate their software, which of course results in failure. After that customers contact SoftwarePug's customer service. At this stage SoftwarePug representative attempts to persuade these customers to "replace" their original purchase with completely different unknown-brand software. That's their entire business model.

This company is a total scam. The bad thing is they have my CC#. I never did get the link or the key. Bad thing is now this company has my information. Stay away. Bad news.
Scam. They charged my card and never sent me Microsoft Word. I am now going to habe to try and deal with my credit card company giving me back $89.10. I hope I can dispute and get it refunded. I still do not have Microsoft Word that I bought at 8am this morning. I have not been able to complete the project I needed it for either. Complete waste of time and money.
I had doubts at first, but that quickly went away after Sue came in and removed the trial version from my new laptop. Turns out, it was the reason the install was not working. Amazing service!
