I finally did Christmas shopping early and I am being punished for doing so. Gift given after 90 days. Ripped immediately, but can't return since past 90 days. Moral don't shop too early Avoid pillows. Poor quality.
I purchased a bench one and was charged for two. I emailed the company explain something went wrong. I only want one and asked to return slip it the same day they arrived. I was then emailed No refunds. This is horrible.

Update 09/18/23: Society 6 made full refund (less shipping costs), of course after this review was posted! Sad they didn't do that in the first place.
Recently purchased king duvet cover, shams and matching shower curtain. Arrived with dark brown print blotches in various areas on it. When requesting refund they indicated it was exactly like their picture on web site! Only offered a 20% discount. These items are unusable because they look like crap and I lost $205.00.
Tip for consumers:
Won't refund for printing issues. - Update 08/18/23 Society 6 issues refund, less shipping after this review was posted.

Society6 used to be great now its gone downhill, what customers do not know is that society6 around 6 months ago started charging artists for part of the shipping costs, so those people that failed to get a shipping cost refunded, means that society6 profited from this fact, society 6 now charge artists around 180 dollars per year otherwise their portfolios will be stripped down to 10 images, Society6 will also have a computer algorithm that decides what is going on the main site mainly in views, so someone putting on sub standard work can buy a package of instagram followers this will generate lots of views and then sub standard work will be offered, I have been on society6 for 12 years I am a full time processional photographer, I also use drones and my work is not published, so those 6000 images will be removed as i close the account and society6 do not care, they make their income from artist subscriptions, they have made around ******* dollars profit from myself and their mentality is that they wont add my images onto the main site and I can go, avoid unless you want pixelated and often copyrighted images lifted off of the internet
I see a ton a bad reviews here. I've bought several items from society6 over the past 4 or so years, and I've maybe been disappointed once with a clock that started to lag after a year. I've bought tote bags, bath mats, and other items, and generally I've liked them. I see reviews that say this is all overpriced, which is ridiculous to me if you want customized items. Custom means it costs more. If you're looking for cheap stuff it's not going to be customized.
The site looks neat and all, but when I became a paid member and was trying to sell my art, the pages would run with major errors, both on the phone and on the computer, that occurred over and over after continued attempts to resolve. Communicating with the service personnel via email was all right, but I was not satisfied with the fact the actual problems were not pointed out and dealt with in a clear and direct way. The issues had to do with editing items in the artist studio as well as the webpages themselves not loading properly which hindered even approaching my shop correctly. I wanted to share my experience, for people looking for effective online services to sell their art in ways other than traditional, as I was. Society6 is not one that I would recommend, all the more when you're to subscribe and pay however small the amount may be.
Difficult to get them to listen, help and actually understand the issue. They offer payment through Amazon, which we all know allows returns on all items - but when I made this point to Sociaty6 they still pretty much said "tough luck". Very unwilling to help in anyway. They should be called sociaty zero in my opionion - I will never ever buying anything from these guys again.
I ordered a towel sets and got 3 bath mats and no one ever called I never got any response from them at all
I ordered a rug from Society 6. They sent it to the wrong city and address. When they finally sent me the right item to the correct address it arrived. The colors of the rug all ran into each other. Absolutely unable to use. A piece of garbage. They refused to refund my money saying I was too late to put in for a refund. I'm elderly and had been in the hospital and was unable to unroll it in a timely manner. I bought stools there and they were not in any way the same as pictured in their photos.
Just awful! I ordered a painting size 24/36, framed. So the painting itself was tiny and the white paper around it was huge, so that the size of the frame would be 24/36. The frame itself was made terribly and it fell apart before I could hang the painting. Terribly made, unbelievable! Getting in touch with the company is also a big problem: you cannot email them and there is no phone number as well. Cheapest material, poorly made and cheating with size
As above, but this is not the first time this has happened. Beware, there is no customer service phone number to call, you have to send an email, then hope they respond.
Their T shirts are flimsy & poorly printed, their throws feel nice & soft until you wash them a few times, then they pill.
Tip for consumers:
If it glitches, beware. I was charged twice.

Wow, terrible. Ordered 8x10" art prints that arrived as 7.68x10" that didn't fit into the 8x10" frames I purchased. They refused to replace them since variation "within a fraction of an inch" is normal.
Excuse me? 8x10" is an exceedingly common print size and it's the one advertised on the page. I understand mistakes in the print job can happen, but the correct course of action would be to send a reprint in the case of an error. But accordingly to them "with a replacement, there is a chance you will receive a size variation," which I guess is another way of saying "We don't do quality control."
I bought 3 cotton totes from them 2 years ago. The fabric is great, plus a full separate cotton lining. I just ordered 2 more, which are a stiff, thin, cotton bonded to a cotton backing. It's a much cheaper quality.
I will not buy from them again. I'd rather pay a more for a quality product.

I ordered a "Tooled Cowhide Leather" iPhone case on 1/26/23, what I received yesterday was a polycarbonate case with a cowhide design. I'm in the process of contacting Society6 to see how issue can be resolved.
Update 2/9/23 Contacted Society6 via email and issued was resolved in less than an hour!
Refunded FULL amount of order and did not want iPhone case returned.
Great to see a company that takes care of customer issues without a fight.
After i told him the website is so bad for artists, i dont sell anything last month with 600+ designs, and they put new stuff on website where i have to PAY subscribtion to sell my designs, i pay for that, and after 1 month i told him to delete my account, they dont do it, because i have to do it BUT somehow i got 5 sales, i guess they hide sales before, and making artists fools, or finally they work for me to keep me on website, anyway, they suck hard, because for 7 years i never see they put my really good designs in home page, they always put a "politics correct" artists, they promote woman, LGBTIQIUEAI+, black artists, but never a man, this is FFKN discrimination!
Imagine you need blackout curtains and have something in mind. It's a nightmare to keep your search on track. You can either just scroll for days through every single option you would never want or else the system will keep throwing you back to all kinds of mugs and cups and other products you can't use … it won't let you just STAY on blackout curtains and narrow searches within that. The artists are great, but the technology is too stunted to find what you need.

I ordered 2 tapestries. They aren't what I'd call "tapestry". They're see-through. The fabric feels like a thin cheap bed sheet. Not worth the money. I wanted to hide a small accent wall I'm not allowed to paint. But you could see through to the color and pattern. Disappointing.
Tip for consumers:
There are better tapestries found if you search photo backdrops instead of tapestries. They aren’t see-through.

I did not use either tapestry I ordered. They went immediately in my garage sale. I did not return them because I was moving and didn’t have the time.
Guaranteed my item before Christmas it is now 2 weeks later no item. Terrible customer service! I will not be refunded for my item they are instead sending it to me AGAIN where it will not arrive until mid January. I reached out to the company VIA customer service email and on their live chat and was ignored. Horrible horrible horrible. I would never order from here again because it feels like a scam. They cannot guarantee you anything and will not help you when their "guarantees" fall through.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it!

I was wanting a William Morris bed spread comforter and I found this on society 6 web site, I also ordered pillows because I loved the William Morris artist design. The pillows were fabulous but the comforter was awful. All out of scale even the colors were nothing like the web site pictures, so now I have wonderful pillows but nothing to match it to use on my bed,
Buyer beware photos on the web site are nothing like the finished product.
Thus was so very disappointing, I will not buy from this company again.
False advertising is used in the web site. The first photo is what was suppose to get. The second picture is what this cheap comforter looked like. The scale of the fabric is all deluded and the quality is like something from the dollar store. Very poor deceptive advertising.
Tip for consumers:
False advertising showing a beautiful comforter on the web site it was nothing like the finished product.

I ordered some throw pillows with inserts. They look terrible. The covers are ill-fitting over the pillow inserts and the fabric is thin and washed-out looking and NOTHING like the colors pictured online. I would not order from this site again. The jury is still out on the returns process, but I am guessing they are going to suck in that area too. I paid a fortune in shipping because their shipping fees are per item and not scalable to larger orders.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy anything here
I was actually pretty disappointed. I love that it's a canvas material and the make them by order. But for the price the print image should be more vibrant rather than dull and a bleeding look. White area also looks grayish/ murky.

I got this cute mushroom yoga mat. My personal recommendation is not to buy one- they quality is poor and after only a couple of months, it's already torn. The pieces that come off get all over my clothes, the yoga studio floor, and the overall design no longer looks good.
Tip for consumers:
I don't recommend Society6. Look into your other options.

Do not give any money to this business... the quality of products are worse than those produced in China's sweat-shops... I purchased three products, a bath mat, a shower curtain, and hand towel. The hand towel and bath mat have track marks of missing color/design where the printer messed up or got caught up on the material which ruins the overall design of the product. In addition, the materials feel really cheap and plastic-y. In addition, the bath mat stays wet for days, so it's not only of poor quality but it's not functional. I paid premium quality product prices and received literal garbage... I'm literally going to throw these away, do not spend your money here.

We ordered a cabinet pictured as grey wood with a white/grey marbled front. They shipped us an guly PURPLE marbled cabinet with ugly yellow plywood sides and top. It looks SOOOO BAD in our house I don't even want to look at it. We reached out to customer service and they said they'd let us know at a later date if they could do anything to correct the issue, and we haven't heard back. As I take more of it out of the box I can't believe we spent over $600 on this rip-off.
Tip for consumers:

I purchased a large area rug. No instructions for care except washing. It snagged in multiple places in less than 5 mo. Their return policy is 60 days. For such an expensive product and no care instructions, this is unacceptable. I contacted them for a replacement/refund/care instructions. All were met with a "no" as they have a 60 day return policy. Don't buy their rugs unless you want to replace them often.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy their rugs.
