Worst of the worst. Buyer beware! I ordered a Canon camera Aug. 9th and still have not received it despite appoligies and promises to ship it. My credit card was charged immediately. I think this hoax of a company is operating on our money that they collect but don't ship the goods. Beware of "John" the customer service guy who plays the good-guy-bad-guy part. I've contact the BBB and am waiting a reply. I also sent a letter to the Attorney General of Washington, DC to investigate. SmartSubs is supposidly based there.
9/09/09 Still have not rec'd product ordered or reponse to email & VM. Since last update I have filed a complaint w/IC3.gov (internet crime complaint center)... my credit card company credited me and is investigating too... I'll keep you posted!
This site is a SCAM. I ordered two products from this website on Nov. 30th. They were confirmed the same day. After a week of processing without being shipped, I sent an e-mail and talked to a SmartSubs Live Chat representative who told me the order would ship the next day. It NEVER shipped. I sent two more e-mails the following. A day later I received an e-mail stating the website no longer sells the items I ordered. Yet, somehow, both items are still "in-stock" on Smartsubs.com. They did offer to send me a cheaper version of one of the items I ordered. I declined. I asked why they still sell the products on-line if no longer offer them. They never answered. I believe this company is a SCAM to sign people up for free trial offers. Like another reviewer, I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not get suckered into the cheap prices and free shipping. This website is a SCAM.

Smartsubs delivery and customer service is very poor - Beware of ordering products from Smartsubs. This is a site that offers good prices but requires that you sign up for a trial subcription (e.g. Blockbuster). I ordered my product on December 1. Upon ordering I was informed via email that my order would be processed once my subscription order was process. My order was held up until Dec 9, before I heard from them again about shipping. I tried to contact them but they do not respond very the contact me on their website.
