HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE! Do not purchase from this place! They have a very sneaky "no returns" policy on sale items. These terms are not publicized on their website as other high end online retailers do. Their customer service is horrible!

I ordered a very expensive pair of shoes (Tibi Amber heels - $365) that I have been pining away for months... they came USED from Singer22! I am so disappointed. Please save your money and shop at reputable stores like Nordstrom where you can return items easily without hassle (and where you receive BRAND NEW items as opposed to used shoes -- gross!)

Doesn't get worse than this! What online merchant carrying contemporary or designer brands doesn't refund returns? Maybe in 1990, this would have been passable. I am so regretful purchasing items from this store and a store credit only lasts a year, I hate to break it to them, but I believe that to be illegal.

Very strongly recommend against buying a single thing at this shop.

Wow, I'm glad I searched for a review for this website before I proceeded to the checkout. They almost had me when I saw the additional 40% off of clearance. I went to the checkout and it wanted my credit card info right away, along with my billing/shipping address, and also I had to choose the shipping method. It was all on the same page, followed by "Complete Order" at the bottom. I realized, if I was to press that, I wouldn't even have a conformation page to even see how much the shipping was. It would have just charged my card. Ridiculous! Right away it felt like a scam. Soooo glad I saw this!

This website is the worst! I bought a dress in November of 2011 and when it arrived the quality was AWFUL - definitely nowhere near the $299 price. I paid duty & shipping to the UK which I anticipatd I'd have to eat, but it was only when I went to return it that I was informed they did not accept refunds. I tried to argue this with singer22 as it looked nothing like the photo (cheap hem, cheap material, horrible fit) but got nowhere. I tried to argue this with my credit card company as well and wasn't able to resolve the issue.

Only now a few months later did I go to buy something else to use my credit note and have now been informed that my credit note has no credit against it! They are an absolute scam. I am now having to flag this up with my credit card company to try and get a refund. I am absolutely appalled at this website and surprised that they are still in business after reading all the horrible reviews.

I recommend shopping with Shopbop... better product and better customer service!

STAY AWAY! I'm really disappointed with this website. Yes, they do have some great stuff, but had I known about the non return policy, I would have stayed clear. I'm an Internet shopper, have been for years. Never have I not been able to return for a refund. Yes, I know that I didn't read the return policy, but I never even thought that was possible, being used to internet shopping g and never running into any problems with returns. Now, I have an item that is on back order till mid July and if I try to cancel, they will still give store credit. No other place charges you for a back ordered item until it is being shipped out. Very sneaky!

Lousy service, rude staff, horrible return policy, way overpriced merchandise. I really hated the way they treated me. No wonder they only earned a C+ grade from the Better Business Bureau. They had multiple complaints. Check the link to see for yourself. I'd NEVER, EVER shop there again!

I purchased an expensive top through Singer22 and it arrived completely fuzzballed, worn, and covered in someone else's hair. Disgusting. Not only that, but I suspect they are incorrectly labeling sizes. I ordered an XS and it fits like a tent. It is literally three times the width of my body and is unwearable in public. Will never shop with Singer again.

Just like everyone is saying, will never even visit the site again! Almost feel like ive been tricked into buying a pair of shorts. I wanted to check how much they will cost after a further 30% off so i added them to bag, proceed to checkout and had to enter all my details including bank details and coupon code for it to show me full price after 30% discount. And after ive done that it just placed my order without me even submitting or confirming the order! So i emailed then and obviously got no response. It also states that i absolutely had to email them a copy of my passport and bank card that i used (for security reasons) in order for them to process my order. So i thought if i don't email it to them they will give me some sort of response and atlest won't proceed with the order. But what do you know, instead of giving me any response they processed my order even without the required proof of identity... may they burn in hell.

FYI: No refunds are allowed. All sale items = FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged. Allowable returned items will be given an online store credit only, no exceptions. Everything but full priced clothing = FINAL SALE items meaning unless you're buying clothes everything else is non returnable non exchangeable so make sure you order what you want.

Items received after the 14 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. (A 1/5 of your entire order's cost- insane! I spent $355 so that's roughly $70 they will not refund you) Items received after 30 days will not be accepted back.

A shipping fee of $6.95 will be charged for exchanges (they deduct this from your return cost). The original shipping fee will be deducted from the store credit for any order, those orders that originally shipped for free will be charged as well; $9.95 for U.S. orders. Returns will be processed within 5 - 7 business days.

"Please note on returns for different sizes or colors the purchaser is responsible for shipping charges. Items purchased online may not be returned to our retail stores."

Never shopping from this retailer again. Worst customer service. Unless you absolutely know that there's no way you'd want to make an exchange or return an item, you're getting screwed over.

This is the absolute worst website. I ordered a $700 alice and olivia dress on sale for $349 which did say final sale. I paid extra to have the dress shipped in 2 days for a wedding i had on friday. I received the dress on Wednesday, brought it to the cleaners to get "puffed" since the bottom was flat from being delivered folded in a box. The cleaners showed me the hem and explained there wasnt anything he could do since the dress was ripped and there was no way a dress would be sewn like that. I called Singer 22 left a message and a week later i still had not heard anything. I called again, had to email them pictures and send the dress back. They offered me a new dress, too bad the wedding was long over or store credit. I explained all i wanted was a refund onto my american express. Everyone i spoke with was rude, nasty, and liars stating they sent me emails which i never received. I have disputed this charge twice with American Express and unfortunately they have taken Singer 22's side and i now have a $349 credit towards there website. Its complete bull$#*!, i will spend my credit but will NEVER EVER order or recommend this website. As a business owner myself i am completely appalled with the way the company handled this situation.

I HATE this website. Their return policy SUCKS, they sell fake old merchandise and their prices are higher than any department store. I received a damaged jacket and they would not return. Don't ever shop at this repulisive store!

OMG! I wish I read this website before I ever shopped on singer22.com. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! I ordered a 200$ dress, it came 2 weeks later... thats right 2 WEEKS! And mind you, its in NY and im in PA... there is no reason that it should have been 2 weeks. I emailed, called... and finally 4 days later I get a response to my email saying that my cc was put on hold and that they emailed me about it saying why there was a hold on my order. I RECEIVED NO SUCH EMAIL. I have never had a company blatantly lie to me. So I have called emailed back... NOTHING. I DID NOT KNOW this website was exchange only. Websites that are exchange only are a strict NO in my book bc they are usually shady and have horrible service, singer22.com is no different. How dare they keep my money after such horrid service and not stating the return policy clearly. They are dead to me. OH! And when i go to ups to return my dress, the return address doesnt exist! So who knows where my package is being shipped, they ofcourse have not called me back, bc you automatically get transferred to a voicemail. There are way too many websites like this one to EVER have to shop here. DO NOT buy EVER, even if you are in love with the product, guaranteed you will find it elsewhere. BUYERS BEWARE! I am now out of 200$, I should have just took 200$ and lit a fire to it. UGH! So pissed!

WOW THE NERVE! In this day and age, it's rare to hear about companies (especially ones ONLINE no less) that have such terrible customer service and store policies... but it's not unheard of! This place may have a nice selection but they do not state their return policy clearly AT ALL. The stuff I bought, I found on sale elsewhere (for like $200 less) and they would not refund the difference or allow me to return the item so I could buy it from someone else. Their customer service people took 3 days to get back to me and overall I'm just very disappointed. Stay away, shop somewhere else and unless you are 100% positive you'll be satisfied with your purchase, don't give them your money.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Horrible return policy that is NOT clearly displayed. If you are not going to allow refunds you should make it clear when the customer checks out. Furthermore, customer service should be called "customer dis-service." They are the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with.

Buy from Revolveclothing.com, Shopbop.com or Piperlime.com but whatever you do, DO NOT BUY HERE!

(I am telling all of my friends, family, colleagues and students (I work at a college) not to shop here either!)

THEY HAD THE ODASITY TO SAY THEY WOULD NOT ISSUE ME A REFUND. IT WASN'T TILL I THREATED TO TAKE THEM TO COURT AND REPORT THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BECAUSE IT WAS CLEARLY FRAUD. SO DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED THEY ONLY SHOW THE CELEBRITIES WEARING THE CLOTHING NOT THE ACTUAL CLOTHING. AND THEIR PRICES ARE WAYY OVERPRICES IF YOU WANT TO SHOP SOMEWHERE GO TO REVOLVECLOTHING, SHOPBOP, GILT, AND CHICKDOWNTOWN THEY ALL HAVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT INVENTORY.

Singer22 not only has an inflexible, no refund return policy, it also plants phony reviews on site like "Site Jabber".
The posts here by Tally and Jill: posted on the same date and both glowing. They are completely contrary to most other reviews you'll find elsewhere on the web about this online store.
Shoppers feel ripped off by Singer22, not only because of its "credit only" policy... but also because its prices are much higher than most other stores. By reading "real" reviews, you'll notice a trend: Singer22 doesn't maintain the stock it advertises. What you order may never arrive or arrive so late that you don't want or need it anymore. Could it mean that vendors are catching on to Singer22's bad rep with consumers and not supplying it with inventory?
My advice: google the item you want and buy it somewhere else.
