My shoprite is now all self checkout not even one cashier. I didn't notice that or I would have turn around and left the store. I had a very large order and I'm in my 60's I'm not in shape to be doing all that. I will be going to one of the other markets around town I'm done with Shoprite sorry but I'm not paying for food & bags and have to check myself out as well. I see shoprite losing allot of senior customers and we are the ones with the money these young folks today don't have a pot to piss in. Look for shoprite to go out of business
I used to love Shoprite from home, then they stopped using the freezer bags. The first time I received everything thrawed and melted they replaced then no questions. I quit using them for months because I didn't want go thru the BS again. But they assured me they were back to using the freezer bags. So started ordering again, no problems until today and my whole order was thrawed and melted. Ice cream was totally melted, the meats were all warm, the dairy products were so warm they couldn't be used. I called and the woman I spoke with was basically accusing me of trying to get stuff for free. So I am done with Shoprite, as my title says "never again".
I would give 0 stars if allowed but had to give one in order to proceed. This is my first time using this service as my young child has Covid and we still need to eat. There were no time slots available Friday when I initially needed the Food order so I choose the next day as soon as possible. When I showed up to pick up my order I was told that they could not find it. Upon further investigation I was informed that my date was actually for Sunday pick up instead of Saturday. I explained my current situation and was informed the soonest I would be able to
Pick up would be 530 and that they could switch it in the computer for me with no issue. I agreed. I then received a phone call a half hour informing me that I would have to redo my order as they couldn't fix it as promised. I went on the app and continued to lose my time slot but because apparently the app is having technical difficulties according to the customer service representative. I will

Shoprite have the worse service. The people that shop for your food don't read the order at all they always missing your items or you have someone else's food. Poor service. Acme and peapod have way better service. Get it together Shoprite!
The unfairly searched me and my friends for stolen goods and verbally accused us of stealing.We were highly dissatisfied.

One employee has stood out to me for awhile. Keith Hoffman works on the self-scanner line and his efficiency, professionalism, pleasant manners, and hard work all makes him an asset to his company & makes me want to return here bc employees like him upgrades the experience of this place. I just recognize great & helpful employees everywhere i go (which is not uncommon unfortunately) but Keith is a standout and should be called out.
I called ShopRite 2xs to get in touch with a manager and no one ever answered so here is my review. I bought cream of crab soup (bowl&basket) brand.The soup was filled with pieces of hair.In a closed package so I don't know where it's being packed at. But y'all need to get it together that's disgusting.And answering the phone I'm assuming is too much.As of now no has connected me to a Manager after 3 attempts that's ridiculous.

As a food store, Shop Rite is great. But whoever came up with Digital Coupons should be FIRED immediately. Not only is this the dumbest idea since you already need to have their regular card, but none of these "deals" are in any order and a pain in the $#*! to download (if you remember). Just give every card holder these discounts and be done. This is 2021 not 1981.
If you order home delivery on Saturday and Delivery made on Sunday, you will NOT BE PAYING THE same PRICE YOU checked off AND AGREED TO ONLINE SATURDAY!

I've given SHOPRITE too many times to get it rite! Four to be exact! They're never on time and I never received all of my groceries! Getting Customer Service to answer the phone is like pulling teeth! And after all of the problems, they have the audacity to try to deliver the groceries that they've forgotten on the next business day... The employees are RUDE AND NEED A COURSE IN HOW TO PERFORM AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. ABSOLUTELY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND UNCOUTH! I will continue to shop WALMART! So I've just received another cold notification via phone from the SR representative that they are running late again. Matter of fact tone, absolutely no sign of even implying an apology, let alone saying it.

The online order system is not is poor.
1. You need to enter your Cell phone number every time you try to place an order.
2. Your slot time expires if the system did not process your order. Your need to renter your time slot
3. If the system did not process your order you need to log out and log in again. (get internal server error)
4. It looks the online order system does not accept Digital Coupons.
5. System is extremely slow. It takes 50 seconds to one minute to process order. If hit the Payment key again it replies after about 10 seconds with an Internal Server error, and you need to log out and log in again and go thru the complete process again,
Little Falls ShopRite From Home Order - (#*******)
Shoprite's website has been a mess for months and they have done ZERO to make the online shopping experience customer-friendly. It typically takes two or three "tries" to get an order to go through--tonight I ran this circle 5 times and my order still is not placed. The last time I ordered, I received a phone call from a ridiculously snotty employee (she was exceptionally foul--not at like the usual friendly, professional SR employee) informing me that my card declined. I offered a different card but Shop Rite doesn't allow that--I could pick it up or cancel--no other options.
In any case, I will never again attempt to use Shoprite's online shopping again. It's a shame, I love Shop Rite quality and service, but I'm done running in circles for over an hour just to place an order.
You aren't Fort Knox. Buy a clue. I will never get back those 10 minutes I spent trying to log in. Hopefully you will realize your place when it comes to internet security. Defense department>IRS>Bank>pet supply store>chinese food delivery>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>.>. Waaaaaaaaaaaay down the line is Shoprite.

Every time I try to order groceries from Shoprite.com there is a problem. The site is slow, times out, limited slots available for delivery & pick-up, etc. Half the time I can not even complete an order--like tonight! I wasted over 30 minutes trying to place an order and site shut down! What the heck! Worthless!
I shop at the shop rite in the Glastonbury plaza. I had never experienced such horrible customer service anywhere in my life. Every employee in that store including management needs training on how to provide customer service. The cashier was rude disrespectful never said hello never ask if I had my rewards card didn't offer me bags she didn't even give me the total of my purchase, I had to look at the monitor to see how much the total was. I asked to speak to a manager she proceeded to say I was making a big deal over nothing. I was so upset with the whole situation I left my groceries behind. 50 + dollars. I will never shop your stores again. Very disappointed.
The Shoprite 9-slice Pizza has been replaced by their new Bowl and Basket label. The only problem is that although the box size is the same, the product inside is 2/3 the size of the Shoprite branded version. Its very odd looking, like it was a manufacturing error; a badly cut lot. It sits in a mostly empty box that's just over 18 oz. Another victim of product downsizing. Maybe Shoprite thinks we're stupid, but Walmart individually wrapped deep dish pizzas are comparable. One more reason to get my groceries at Walmart. Way to go Shoprite.
I've used home delivery a few times in every single time I get all the wrong stuff. I don't suggest anybody use this because they don't look and they don't care what there throwing in your basket
Answer: Since the "update" everyone is having trouble with the website and app. It's been awful, but they seem to be in no rush to fix it.
Answer: Pretty easy is the cashier supposed to pack the bag?
Answer: Yes- just Google "Grocery stores near me." Chances are that at least one of those stores is connected with a service called Instacart. Instacart is far better, cheaper, faster, and much more reliable than ShopRite. You can order groceries the same day, the delivery fee is much, much cheaper, and you can actually tip on your credit card, unlike ShopRite, which gives you no option to do that.
Answer: 7 days a week. You have to reserve a time slot in advance. They have time slots throughout the day. However, the delivery service is unreliable.
