I have had really unpleasant experiences with Way.com and their vendors. First, Way.com never refunds even though is the policy is 100% cancellable with no penalty. They only issue "Way Bucks" forcing you to use them again. Secondly, they make lots of promotional offers via email, thanking me for being a customer (for example) with discount codes that are useless, because they can't be combined with Way Bucks.
In my last experience using Way.com I parked at Hilton Dpoubletree at Newark Airport. The lot so COMPLETELY FULL that I had to park illegally and worry if I would be towed during my trip (thankfully I was not). Worse was the hotel's single shuttle. It only ran on the 1/2 hour and they refused to let me on because they had "contractual obligations to prioritize Delta airlines personnel staying at the hotel." After waiting for the next shuttle, I was again denied, because remaining Delta personnel occupied 1/2 of the van and others had already been waiting for over an hour. I had no choice but to call an Uber and pay $12 to get to the terminal. I made it to the gate in just as they were closing the boarding doors. On the way back, I called the hotel several times and no one ever answered. After waiting at the shuttle pick up area for 40 minutes, again I found it necessary to call Uber to get to my car. At the hotel the front desk personnel ignored me for about 10 minutes before finally validating my parking. On the way out, the turnpike machine would not accept my ticket and I had to repeatedly press the help button. No one aswered the call, even as cars backed up behind me. After a few minutes, the turnpike gate silently lifted and I was incredibly glad to have that ordeal behind me.
