Been there 3 times and every time had to fight for the sale price.not sure why. The ad says 4.99 a pound but when you check out its 7.99 lb.show the kid the sales flyer he called the manager he says did you down load the digital coupon.i said no it dosnt say that in the ad.he said well you have to.next time tuna 10 for 8.88 had customer service girl download digital ad bought 10 cans charged me 1.79 a can.the place is a joke ripping people off not even good at it.BEWARE of shoprite

Myself and my bf are both disabled. I have had the worst experience three weeks in a row. My orders being delivered to the wrong addresses. The workers in the office are very kind, but if I get a delivery from the shipper company I don't get my order then when they redo my order of course something is always out of stock I have called corporate and they said they would look into it but I'm thinking it's just to blow me off. Said to call my store and have them note that the only delivery method for us is one of their drivers. I hope this happens but I'm not betting on it. Very frustrating
The Niskayuna, NY Shoprite charged my Entire Order to my credit card, NOT EBT account which was properly filled out in online order (store checked and saw it was filled out correctly)! They fixed that, but I am still waiting for my "first order free" $11.94 refund to my bank account because they 1. Charged my bank account $11.94, and 2. Credited my EBT account instead of refunding my bank account -- Helloooo? Order was Nov. 14,2022. Made 2 phone calls to Shoprite and Shoprite HQ as well as 2 emails to Shoprite -- NOTHING absolutely NOTHING! Will NOT order again!
SR is going overboard on their pricing. They and the gas companies are taking advantage of the economy, raising prices beyond the suppliers increases. Oil cos are making record profits, as are supermarkets.
In our area, Waretown, NJ, Lidl is kicking Walmart and Shop Rite's $#*! price wise.
Having made my order around 10:30 a.m. I set pick up for between 3 and 3:30 p.m. I tried to call to let them know I would be late and got HUNG UP on TWICE. I then contacted the store manager whom seemed to have better things to do than return a phone call. I got to the store at 5 p.m. and was told my order wasn't ready. I was told 15 minutes we'll text you. After an HOUR I returned to the store to speak to the manager. Angelo the manager explained he, "DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON" and then explained "NO ONE IN THIS STORE COMMUNICATES". Another employee asked me my name and all of a sudden here comes my order minus an item. So, I paid to sit at the store and wait for someone to look up my order and then tell me it wasn't ready, waste another hour for someone to actually look me up and provide service that was paid in full. The ordeal cost me more than $4.99 I overpaid for a service NOT rendered. East Haven, CT you leave a lot to be desired. NEVER SHOP ON LINE AT SHOPRITE(WRONG) BETTER OFF SAVING $4.99 AND GO TO ANOTHER SHOPRITE EAST HAVEN, CT had employees lazing around reading magazines stocking shelves (I guess). I watched a kid stock 15 items on a shelf in the hour I was waiting. I get bored so I counted and timed him. My favorite was Angelo who told me, "HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON" and then offered an EMPTY APOLOGY (I KNOW BECAUSE HE WAS WALKING AWAY WHILE SPEAKING.) SHOP(WRONG)RITE LOSE MY INFORMATION.
Ive used the service about 8 times now and each time its a different disaster. Ive had them switch the timing without consulting me. Ive had items falling out of their bags delivered unpackaged including produce. Ive had items simply not in the bag that I get charged for and there is no recourse on it as there are so many people in the qeue. The cant substitute for pretzels lettuce marinara sauce tomatoes etc etc? The shoppers DO NOT CARE ONE OUNCE. Im over it.Sometimes half my items are not included. BS
Shorprite in Poughkeepsie is getting worse and worse. I went to a checker today and she was a young kid. I was bagging and when the items were all scanned she told me the total and stared at me. She did not help to bag she did nothing. I could have self checked and had better treatment. I threw up my hands and said,"you want me to keep bagging or pay and then finish bagging!?" I finished bagging she folded the receipt and handed it to me. No remarks about any savings nothing. That place sucks and I'm sick of the filth and bad treatment. The only time I'll go there is can can sales. It's all way too expensive and disgusting customer service is not worth it. Stay away!
The Perdue or Bowl and Basket cooked chickens need to be larger. They are so dried out you barely have enough chicken to add for soup. Bring back the larger Over Stuffers. They are so bad I need to go to Costco and now get my chicken.
Overall, the store carries the items I need and the prices are good. But who's in charge of the food preparation? Did someone complain about the rotisserie chickens? Yes, a couple of times I've gotten chickens that had a little bit too much red near the breast bone. But I took the time to microwave the meat to make sure it was totally cooked. Now, unfortunately, the rotisserie chickens I buy are horrible! They are overcooked. The wings and legs are not only brown but burnt! The breast meat is dry and tasteless. And there is no broth in the containers to help add taste back to the meat.

Through any way, now I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my money back

Shoprite at Gillway Mall East London does not care for customers. There is no better day. You will wail for 2 hours in a queue and the Managers will say employees did not come to work everytime ut is the same excuse. It is not pleasant to shop at Shoprite xem.
Tried to give Shoprite bakery one more try. Quality of baked goods now that they don't bake in store anymore really sucks. Been doing my shopping now at Acme.
Is in Hamilton, Princeton, North Brunswick and Edison. They provide the best service, have professional staffs, friendly, helpful than some of the other Shoprite. I will recommend them to Shoprite customers.
I will try to never give them my business period. I do not support their current practices and organization.
I don't care if it is not politicaly correct or not, enough is enough. Todsy I notice they had rainbow reusable bags at the checkout, saying they support gay pride. I guess when perverts try to legitimize pedophilia, they will support that also. But regardless, it is quite stupid on the part of their management.Be cause we will no longer patronize their stores anymore. Amd I am sure many others will follow suit.

I have been a faithful customer to Shoprite for years. Since they updated the ap, I have been unable to place an order. I cannot check out! I repeatedly call the store only to be told that the new ap sucks. I call customer service and they have to transfer my order to another cart and check me out. If I get past checkout, it won't accept my credit card... any credit card. Same happens with pickup. I have become so frustrated that I switched stores. I no longer shop at Shoprite. I shouldn't have to beg you to spend my money.
Answer: Since the "update" everyone is having trouble with the website and app. It's been awful, but they seem to be in no rush to fix it.

Answer: Yes- just Google "Grocery stores near me." Chances are that at least one of those stores is connected with a service called Instacart. Instacart is far better, cheaper, faster, and much more reliable than ShopRite. You can order groceries the same day, the delivery fee is much, much cheaper, and you can actually tip on your credit card, unlike ShopRite, which gives you no option to do that.
Answer: 7 days a week. You have to reserve a time slot in advance. They have time slots throughout the day. However, the delivery service is unreliable.
