“I started using the register tape advertising about...”

I started using the register tape advertising about an year ago when my store was a fresh start-up and I am glad to admit that Shopperlocal had a big role to play in making it a stable business for me because once the customers came with coupons in their hands, the came back again and again. Shopperlocal reaches out to some really good crowd out there and is successful in making things work for other businesses. I would definitely recommend this business to all of you.

“Total waste of money”

Was lured into agreeing to a year contract by the salesman who specifically said I could cancel after a few months of trying it out -"we're not going to hold you to a year if you're not getting results... we're judged by our results so we don't want unhappy customers, just try it out and if we're not getting results we're not going to force you to keep paying." I found out later after three months of paying and not one new lead that the salesman lied and the company had no intentions of letting me out of the "agreement." So I decided to suck it up and attribute this to an expensive lesson learned. However when the next quarter rolled around I had an existing customer bring in an expired coupon (still no new leads at all), stating that she just got it today. I went the next day to the store to find out that corporate instructed the store to use up all the old receipt ribbon before using the new ribbon. So one week into the new month my expired coupons were being handed out to customers. This company in my opinion doesn't care about the growth of your company, your company, only the money they get from your company. As evident by the blatant dis-concern shown by the local store, the stores don't seem to care about their customers, this company, or the advertisers. Your money would be better spent some where else.

Awesome company and this might not be for every business but for sure with being placed directly in customers hands in full color. You cannot beat that! This program works if you have the right message or ad. ROI is for sure there! Looking forward to years with RTN

Hands down the best advertising company I have dealt with.
They are indeed one of the most experienced professional around. I have been associated with them for over two years and their register tape marketing is very effective for my business.
I do understand that things might not have been well for all businesses but it did work for me, and has been working for me since past two years which makes it the agency to go for.

Their RTN service did great for my business.
I have been using Shopperlocal's service for almost 2 months now and the results so far has been great.
I get around 10 redemption on an average per week which is great for my PC repair business.
Cheap. Fast and effective. That is what hyper-local marketing is and shopperlocal know how to deliver such.

If you want to promote your business, these are the people to go to.
Very effective service makes them stand out among the crowd of advertising agencies and these guys showed me that even small advertising agencies can be professional.
Been in business since 3 years, been with the from past 1 year and with their kind of service, I don't think of shifting any sooner.

The people at Shopperlocal are true marketeers. They provide the most cost effective and result effective solutions that I have came across in 10 years of my experience as a small business owner.
And that is precisely why I must recommend them to others. An honest business is a blessing to the community after all.

I have been using the register tape service for over an year now and it has proven to be very effective. I recieve around 4-5 redemptions per day which is pretty good. The cost of the service is pretty cheap and it does not pinches to shell out a few bucks for such an effective advertising program(considering its price). Recommended for startups.

IMO, they're are the real marketers. Initially when I hired them I was in complete dilemma because of the negative comments and reviews appearing in Google searches against them. I was in a NO NO situation. But then I though of giving them a shot as it was not a huge amount to test the truth of those reviews/ comments. Because being in a business I am already aware of such activities of competitors. Yes, a few can be genuine as well, but I also know this fact that no business is perfect, and if it didn't work for one, doesn't mean it can't be perfect for others.

Now, it's been almost a year. I've been working with these guys and the results are amazing, great customer services and post sale support. Special thanks to Sam :)

I sign an agree with this company after one week they fire my account manager. They never live up to there end of the agreement my advertisement did not appear on the a regular bases as agree so in a month cancel the service and pay to the end of the agreement. After agreement terms was over they still debt my account for a total of $668.75. Contact them in January 2015 they research the problem an in February sent me email saying that they would issue me a refund. Call every month since still to date have not receive a refund only to be told today I am number 20 on the list an can not still speak to anyone in account payable. I would not do business with them again and my advice is to you to do the same.

The sales person was awesome and convinced me that I would receive a ton of business from placing an ad with shopper local to be put in the dollar general. I haven't seen one! They didn't even start using the tape till almost 3 months after I starting paying. I called and complained with no response. Then I went to the dollar general to ask them if anyone looked at it. They didn't even know that my salon was across the street. They were telling people it was out of town. I thought that Shopper local would at least give them some info on what's on the receipt tape. They also would'nt cancel the contract. I would not recommend them to anyone. I had a lot better results using "The Flyer". They did finally allow me to cancel my auto renew. Do not waste your money

I am torn with what star to give them. The sales rep who came out was great. I signed up for the minimum advertising and paid. A few months down the road I get an invoice for advertising. I called and said I prepaid for my advertising and did not owe anything. I get another bill and when their office called a month or so later and I told her again that I did not owe that I had paid for advertising. I asked for a detailed statement which showed my payments and new advertising fees. I spoke to them and said I did not authorize additional advertising and was not going to pay for something I did not order. She tried to say I had to call to cancel because the advertising automatically renewed. I explained that was not the case and I would not pay for something I did not order. I just received another bill and a letter that said they were going to turn me over to a collection agency.
