Shoes.com does not seem to be a legitimate company. I bought a pair of Doc Marten sandals. They sent me the wrong size. I immediately went on their website to get a return label. It didn't work. I tried calling but the line disconnected. I ended up emailing like 20 times. Each time I got an automated email that didn't work. Oddly, when I gave them a bad review on their site, I got this message "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" Oh, so there is a live person reading my emails when I give you a bad review? I ended up giving the shoes to Goodwill. This is the first time I bought from a company that literally doesn't care and has (not even bad but) no customer service. I hope I help you avoid them.

I give Shoes.com a 1 star rating or falsely advertising a myriad of coupons that don't work! I tried 4 different coupon code offers, none of them worked. For example: HOLIDAYS 45, GINGERBREAD, and IQYG-SMHW-E5CGJ-2DAL a code I received when I entered my email address. I entered the code twice to make sure I had all the letters and numbers entered accurately. At their suggestion, I signed up for ID.Me to qualify for senior discount, even that didn't work. I wanted these shoes, but not that bad! I ordered them through ZAPPOS instead! Better price, coupons that worked and great customer service!

Tip for consumers:
If they give you a coupon or possibility of any discount, verify it first. Unfortunately, that can only be done as you're checking out. Pay attention!

Products used:
I had hoped their customer service would give me the discounts I worked so hard for but they didn't respond. Then when I tried to cancel they said "Unfortunately, as your order has already been transmitted and acknowledged by the fulfilling warehouse, there is a high likelihood that your order may be beyond the cancellation window. We are sorry that we cannot, at this time, guarantee that your order will be canceled." I was finally able to cancel the order after I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
