I had signed up for the premium (paid) service of the portal. At the time of their sales executive (Mohit) asked me to make a downpayment of approx. Rs 3500. Post payment the relationship manager (Nitin) connected with me the next day and after listening to me for 5 mins, started demanding my identification documents for verification. Having heard of many online scams, even faking identity of reputed organizations, I refused to do so.
Next they said my resume needed to be polished and demanded a payment of an additional Rs 7000. I retorted these was akin to hidden costs and can they give in writing their will be no more additional costs levied. The RM (Nitin) rudely mentioned that I do not even care to invest for my future growth. However they will not give any written guarantee. I should have faith in Shine.com, whose parent company is Hindustan Times and hence continue to pay them money, no questions asked

Hi Friends, I am sharing my genuine experience to you. When I completed my registration on shine. Com. They showed me n number of jobs but that jobs are not matches to my profile.

They also showed me call center jobs and low profile jobs.

They asked me to pay rs/-1500 for some entrance exams.

Then I started thinking about it, at that time I asked my friends about this they said that not pay a single rupee for them, because they will not a high profile jobs to us then I decided not to pay money.

Now also they are sending me messages that about some bpo jobs etc.

At one point of they send me about some job then I contacted them but they didn't said complete details of job description.

Most worst and fake company. People don't choose it for job searching.

I would love to get this review reviewed by the owner and founder of the company!

I made the payment before one week related job assistance 3292rs.
After next day I got the call from my RM. She discussed with me about 20mnts. She asked about my carrier journey and my requirement. She told me my service team will connect with you related premium dashboard. Same day in the evening shine service team mail me my premium shine.com mail id and password. I login on shine.com app and I found the premium membership. I checked the job vaccinated and I was shocked. All option are relevant to my profile which are I want. I applied and I got the call next day from the company and yesterday I had selected and next month I am going to join. I already pause the service there is the best option from the shine we can pause and re-continue our services. Thanku so much shine.com I will refer to this my friends defiantly.

Shine.com is a total scam. I wish I can give zero stars, unfortunately I don't have that option. On 31st march they called me and asked me to pay 2005rs and told that they will highlight my resume and asign one relationship manager, he will work on my profile and help you crack interview and all. Post that I got call from relationship manager to pay 5000 again saying "he will work on document verification". Shine.com is just looting and a total fraud

This is to inform you all to never ever log into this job searching portal, You should instead try LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, etc. but not this portal. They sell your data to third-party scammers who will make you indulge in so-called jobs and after work they will ask for a penalty or they will make threatening calls to you with your personal details like your Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driver's license, etc. I tried contacting customer care for the last 10 days and today I got an email asking to deactivate the account so that your information will not be visible to recruiters... SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. What about losing personal details to a third-party company that is not even available on shine.com, or on Google, Who will take the responsibility that the scammers won't be using my driver's license for any financial fraud or legal? NEVER TRY THIS PORTAL FOR A JOB SEARCH, BETTER SIT AT HOME RATHER THAN APPLY HERE.

Cheated through there hidden charges and before every payment, they said it is last payment you need to pay. SHINE.COM is cheating people in the name of HT media.

On 28 and 31 July, 2023 I received a call from shine.com that they will help in finding a job for me and provide premium services. To create an account, I would have to pay Rs.3327. I made the payment and was connected to another person.

3-4 different people asked me to make a few more payments cumulatively worth more than Rs.******* on incremental stages without revealing the full details of all the payments.

First I was asked to make a payment of Rs. 8151 for educational verification.

Then I was asked to make a payment of Rs. 14,724 for company verification.

But then sent another request of Rs. 33,746 and said that this is the final payment that you have to make and then the profile would be live. I was reluctant to pay but then I said okay will do it.

But here comes the shocker, finally the executive asked me to make the payment of Rs. 42,354 to make the profile live.

And this is when I had it. I just didn't want the service at all. It doens't make sense.

I just said please don't give me the services, to which he said that we don't refund the money. But the profile won't be live until Rs. 42k aprox. Is paid.

So, I was left in a limbo and frustation, I can't get the refund, I can't have the profile live. I just want the refund of all the amount I have paid. These are hidden charges and do nothing but dupe the customer.

This is a fake company! A bunch of con artists have come together taking advantage of situations! With false promises and charging you an arm and a leg. My loss is Rs. 61,389.66 to be precise. They are least concerned about their deliverables and promises once they are paid! You will be left high and dry! Please don't fall for any promises they make. They are not genuine! You will end up loosing your precious resources during the low point in your life.
They are nothing but a bunch of swindlers!
