Below is what happened to one of my friend -

Dear All,

Request your help and create awareness with regard to scam run by the job provider shine.com

Kajal from Shine.com called me and stated that to avail the job opportunity services and to get your resume highlighted I need to pay INR 3,292 (discounted price) and post that the relationship manager will call me to provide opportunities available in the market. When I received this call from Kajal I was not told about any further charges.

The relationship manager (Vikram) called and spoke to me using social engineering skills and demanded money again of INR 5,132 (for Education Verification Plus Package) and shared Proforma Invoice for the same on my email and when I asked him why this amount was not disclosed to me by Kajal when I took the services? Then Vikram said that he has taken my feedback and his team is not aware of the further charges. I still went ahead and paid INR 5,132 and fell prey to shine.com (I should have got alerted here and should have not paid further money).

Post paying INR 5,132, Vikram again sent me Proforma Invoice on my email and demanded INR 9,556 (for Job Profile Verification Plus Package). I really lost my patience over here and asked him why are you demanding me more money and then I realised that I have been scammed by shine.com and asked for a refund and Vikram started misbehaving and said they don't refund any money and hung up on me and I can't do whatever I can do. He just threatened me.

I want this scam to be shared with you all and want to make everyone aware about the scam shine.com is running and save all innocent people to not fall prey to shine.com

I received phone call from *******1238 (shine.com)

I personally advice to all job seekers not to goo ok with Shine.com. They are literally fraud people at the very first call. They ask you 3200. Something rupees as a registration fee at that time they don't make you aware about the next payment schedule. They always say that this is the last payment you have made and we will provide you the jobs according to your CV. After one or two days he will get a call asking that we will put your CV on shine.com and highlight the same. We will make a new CV for you professionally and pass it to the various companies. Also they promise you to provide jobs on email as well as on WhatsApp. Earlier they don't tell you that they will provide the job links on a weekly basis. But after you paid the amount they want they disclose that the job links will be provided on weekly basis, they provide job links only once or twice sometime it thrice. After that you will not get any link, neither mail also no support from that fraud team. Number of people called you from Shine team. In the meantime and say that we are your relationship manager. If you want any help we will help you but they don't they are just making you fool again and again they charged you at every step around one lakh and above if you pay, you will get the job links, and other facilities of resume highlighting. So the people our totally fraud and making the image of HT media down. They are making fraud on the name of HT media. I paid 1, 38, 000 to these people. Even after that I am is not getting any support from that team. Every time i called. They ask that they will provide link and you have to apply. We will help you and assist you when you receive the interview call, But till date I have Not got any interview call. I am not getting any support from any relationship manager or any of the staff of shine.com or HT media.

They are totally making fool of people on the name of HT, media as making fool of job seekers is the main source of earning for this shine.com portal people or we can say HT media company.

Now I m getting the calls from shine team, again they are saying that we are working on your Cv.
I asked them to refund my money. They clearly said that we will not refund any money …
They clearly said no with unprofessional manner.
