Sharper Edge Engines

Sharper Edge purchased an engine from my business in October 2015. They claimed that the engine wasn't good, so we told them to return the engine and we would refund their money. When they sent the engine back we could obviously tell this was not the engine that was sent to us, pieces were missing that were on the original engine we sent and we use paint marker to put our name on the engines we sell, nowhere on the returned engine was our name. So they sent a bad engine back plus they got their money back when they filed a claim with the credit card company. We will definitely will be filing an appeal. These are VERY DISHONEST people.

I ordered an engine from this company and although I FINALLY got what I purchased... It was NOT a pleasant experience at all. David was my sales rep... At first he was nice but he turned out to be the perfect example of a sneaky, rude and nasty salesman.
So, let me tell you what happened... The main problem? They sent the wrong engine! You read it correctly - NOT what i ordered! We found out quickly this was not MY engine because the vendor left the tag on it! VIN #, Location, Stock #... EVERYTHING. David didn't believe it was the wrong part despite numerous shortcomings; even the mechanic told him this was NOT going to fit. It was a 2008, All Wheel Drive Engine with over 115,000 miles on it. I ordered a 2011, Rear Wheel Drive, 50,000 miles! Do you see my dilemma? Anyway, he continued to say it will be fine and it got my REALLY upset, so I decided to track down the where this engine came from using the information on the tag. Well the vendor told David I called them and only THEN did David FINALLY tell me he sent the wrong engine! He told me he would refund my money... But I still needed an engine! My car was at the mechanic shop about to be charged storage fees soon! I told him to deliver what i paid for! Anyway, they picked up the first engine and brought the correct one some days later... Thankfully the mechanic was very understanding! David, on the other hand, never apologized or even acknowledged his wrongdoings but he DID, however, become VERY short tempered. Interrupting me each time I spoke, yelling and making insulting comments! He had the nerve to tell me after asking him for tracking information that I was a "waste of time" and I needed to "stop calling" him. After paying almost $3000 - now I'm a "waste of time." Look people! Do yourselves a favor... DON'T TRUST A COMPANY THAT LACKS INTEGRITY OR COULD TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS. I'm warning you now... Stay away!

Was in need of an engine for Volkswagen 2.0 CC (yes qualified but VW denied) and Jack gave me s price that was doable but I've yet to get it. Only been 2 days and holiday tomorrow so I'm good on waiting.
However the complaints on customer service I just can not believe. Jack called me back 2x sent my invoice 2x and I was the one who had missed him. I'll keep this post going as the process continues but so far I feel confident in choosing Sharper Edge.

I was excited to find a reasonably priced replacement engine for my wife's LR4. They responded quickly and professionally and accepted payment. They said 5 weeks for the engine to ship. After 7 weeks the engine had still not shipped, they were slow to respond to emails and I had trouble talking to a live person. When I did talk to Yelda, she was very nice and sounded genuinely sorry about the delays. Ultimately my engine was over a month late, and I truly believe that it only finally got sent because I was calling them 1-2X per day. The engine got to the repair shop and was missing the "upgrade kit" that is recommended but costs extra. I called and was told that they always forget to send those, so sorry, etc. Promised it would be sent the next day overnight air. It was not sent and I emailed and called for a tracking number with no response. Called and email again with no response, and now they say that they "forgot" again and that it will be shipped out Monday (even though it is Friday at 9am... EDIT... They ended up shipping the parts kit and it arrived Monday. But THERE WERE NO HOSES IN THE PARTS KIT. Emailed the seller and no response..

There are no honest people in this company, it is a scum and froad on all levels!

Fact is: The business owner Ms. Yalda Koohi, put all over the internet including BBB the great comments about her company, pretending that she is a happy customer. She has an employee by the name Back, who were screaming on customers.He and Ms. Koohi like to hang up phones on people.
They sold me a broken used engine. I payed for the engine with ******* miles, but they send me engine with 150 000 miles., with broken valves, pistons and big oil leek. During my test drive my engine started to smoke. Be careful, Ms. Yalda like to call customers "Hanny" and "Sweaty". It is just a trick.
Today I called my attorney...
