I read these profiles and laugh! Old worn out nurses, and fat school teachers, old divorced women looking for someone to pay off their credit cards, needy women who want to travel the world but have no money. It's a total waste of time, Everything is phoney, you will never meet anyone nice, but it is fun if you don't take it too seriously. It's just for laughs!

Im getting quite into the online dating scene these days and this is my second review. This is the second mature site ive tried (the first was PrimeTimeLove.com and that will take some beating) and overall its been a positive experience I would say. I had some initial issues but now im seeing the fruits of my considerable labor! If you have some spare dollars lying around then give it recommend giving it a good try for a month, to see what you think and make sure there are women/ men close enough to your zip code that you can realistically consider meeting them. If youre looking for a younger model, you wont find it here guys, but if you want to meet a woman of a similar age that has things in common with you then I think your more likely to find it here or on primetimelove that on one of the more general sites for all ages. Ive always said you should try everything in life and im proud that even in my late fifties I could attempt something as alien as internet dating. And I really enjoy it! And its not just lSeniorPeopleMeet that Im learning to use but also another site called Primetimelove.com. They are both very different in terms of the way the site looks and works, but they have a lot of similarities too. Ive had dinner and high teas with gentlemen on both sites, so I dont think I could pick a winner. In fact the only winner here is me, as I have a life again!

Stupidly fell for the 1/2 price 6 month membership. Fake flirts, fake profiles, same matches every day of the week. Most men (if the profile is actually real) have the free membership and can't respond to email. Picked out a fake profile every day of the week for the first 10 days of the membership. Have no faith in meeting anyone normal on that site.

05/30/2016 - My profile when set up stated female looking for male... why am I suddenly getting sent female profile matches... Cant wait til the membership runs out.

09/11/2016 - My paid membership ended 09/09/2016. From 09/05-09/07 I received 50 profile views, multiple winks and fakes messages. That was more than I ever received during the entire membership. Deleted my profile (I hope it's deleted) and have no intention of ever being that disparate again.

I am extremely unhappy with seniorpeoplemeet.com. I have had nothing but trouble with this website and the customer service is terrible. Just finding the phone number to call is a pain and the hours they are available are almost the same as my work hours. I have been unable to get on the website for 3 weeks now in spite of the many attempts to work with the customer service rep. One of them actually hung up on me before I was done and said you can get on now have a nice day. I paid money for a service that i cannot even use. Very frustrating. There are a lot of scammers on this website. Beware. Unhappy still single customer.

Senior people meet should be renamed Senior people meet sex partners. Here is who I "met" so far. 1.) guy who I located through Google as being on an adult friend finder looking for kinky sex. Profile on SPM was completely fake. After I blocked him he came right back on site with new picture and profile! 2.) guy who changed his profile right after I met him--was it hacked into? 3.) guy who basically asked for sex after about 5 minutes of online chatting4.) guy who wanted my email and I foolishly gave it to him only to begin receiving strange messages from people I did not know. I have since heard from two guys but due to past experiences I am afraid to even message them back. Since no refunds can be given will have to ride it out. Never again!. Also, they erased my profile for no reason and I had to write all that stuff in again.

This site sucks you in with a free month. Gets your credit card info and then automatically renews you without your permission. Never sends you a renewal notice nor do they send you an email telling you that it was renewed. I went in and turned off the automatic renewal and they re-upped it anyway saying I had clicked on something that turned off the automatic renewal! Sneaky and deceptive. Plus the site is very non user friendly with all kinds of pop ups. It wasn't' that way when I started using it. They said they would refund my fee. We'll see?

I paid with a credit card for one month only. They say I signed up for repeat billing. If I did, I was completely unaware of it. The one month only cost was $33.95. I planned on not renewing and thought it would expire on the 1st. On the 1st, I was sent an e-mail saying they took out of my account payment for that month for $29.96. They stated they posted on all communication that if paying by credit card, I authorized them for repeat billing.

I find this fraudulent. They also sent me e-mails saying I had flirts. I would log in and there were no flirts, what gives? In my profile, I did not want to meet men more than 75 miles away. Yet they sent me suggestions for men out of state, over 100 miles away, what gives? Wasted my time and took my money.

I want to add that they did refund the $29.96 as a one time courtesy refund. I had already filed a complaint with PayPal who found in my favor as there was no where on the receipt saying there would be a recurring payment. Very frustrating.
