Very extensive and insightful research. Opposing views on stocks allows you to get "lost in the weeds".

The information is wonderful. I find that if I get information from outside sources, I can combine it with my own goals and situation. So I need that flow of suggestions, then there are good opportunities. I am a scientist, not an accountant, so Seeking Alpha gives me the focus on finance and accounting. Then the discussions give more food for thought.

I like the presentation of many authors who may not agree, and comments that give more points of view. I value the plentiful information on ETFs and closed-end funds. Some CEFs combine security + income, or even security + growth + income. Seeking Alpha has raised my knowledge about these indirect investments and I'm increasing my positions in a couple favorites..

Seeking Alpha does nothing to raise its reputation by constantly featuring analyses of companies by Gordan Johnson of GLJ Research. Despite being rated in the bottom 3% of 15,900 analysts and a portfolio return of negative 8% during another banner Bull market, Seeking alpha continues to give air to his debunked and patently false financial reports. Either GJ is fantastically incompetent or cynically a short seller's shill. I suspect Seeking Alpha likes the click bait of GJ outlandish statements but it doesn't show much respect for its readership - we deserve better.

Seeking Alpha Premium allows me to stay on top of my investments. Whether I'm doing the research myself, or I'm receiving emails, I am able to stay on top of all the news concerning my portfolio. It has been an excellent addition to assist in my investments.

I thought I was going to be getting Seeking Alpha for $29.00 but found the hard way it cost me $479.00 + $29.99 right off the bat then $29.00 a month. I did use the program for 14 day trail, but did not have my stocks loaded. So I didn't see what my portfolio looked like plus I didn't have access to all the stuff. Now that I have paid for everything and am getting what I paid for and loaded my stock. I really like what I found. It showed me that I only had a few bad stocks, but most were in pretty good shape. I also like the information you get. It is very intuitive and goes very well with my Simply Wall Street Program. I just wish it didn't cost so much. I did tell my son about it. He is a self-employed contract IT engineer that solves problems for stock brokage firms, like fiber optic lines, security, new computer software setup and assists personnel in the EU and Asia on hardware setup. He said he would look at it, but he had to be careful because of his work. I highly recommend Seeking Alpha If you can afford it. Maybe I will get it if I make some money from the stocks I do have.

At first I was annoyed I had to pay for Seeking Alpha. But in truth I find that many of the writers I follow have actionable ideas, basically paying for a 1 year subscription to Premium with just a trade or two. Getting only 5 free articles a month didn't cut it when I read 15+ articles per day. I also found 1 writer whose philosophy about options matches mine which caused me to subscribe to his commentary literally paying for a 1 year subscription with the 1st trade

Seeking Alpha has Quant rating which is a GAME CHANGER! Apart from that, their Customer Service team is good.

As an investor with a decent size of my portfolio invested in small cap companies, Seeking Alpha is by far the most helpful and informative on small cap companies. Finding good articles on popular companies is relatively easy, but when I try to find info or data on small cap companies, from my experience most of the articles that I do find online are not as informative. At times it's almost impossible to find any news at all.

With Seeking Alpha I can finally understand what is actually happening with my stocks. As a small time investor this app gives me the information that only financial institutions have!

Like the concept of different authors but i trade options, price targets would be helpful. The best idea list is a good, but I've bought based on this and had names fall off the list after I've picked them up, not sure if i should sell them because of this or not. Sometimes getting info is difficult, the timing aspect, for example I'm in TX, which currently is ranked 20 on your best ideas list after dropping 20%, i bought it when it was in your top 10, is it still a good buy at a lower price. Many articles are rated neutral, not useful.

I can recommend them both very highly as they actually listen and invest in the shares they write about!
