I rely on the articles form Seeking Alpha to help make my investment decisions. Especially for small growth stocks for which there isn't a lot of info on. I find most of the articles to present a good investment thesis and I always check with Seeking Alpha before making any buy/sell decisions within my portfolio.
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for your wonderful feedback - we're really happy to hear Seeking Alpha is able to help you make more informed investing decisions!

I was drawn to seeking alpha based on their claim that their recommended stocks outperform the market at an exceptional rate. Over the past year, much of my stock market success has come from Motley Fool. I think it's fair to say I will allow my SA subscription to expire, and go full throttle with the fools.
Hi Charles,
Please be informed that it is our endeavor to make the site as user-friendly and beneficial as possible, and we will ensure that the feedback reaches our Product team for further analysis and improvements.

I buy dividend stocks, primarily Dividend Champions and Blue-Chip stocks that increase their dividends every year. I put my portfolios in Fast Graphs, Simply Safe Dividends, and Dividend Kings, and I follow them closely. I also follow the Seeking Alpha emails that relate to dividend growth investing.

"HUSK OF A COMPANY. CLEARLY, A STEAMING PILE OF DOG EXCREMENT" Is what they published about a tech company I am invested in. They obviously did NO research and support false narratives. An author of theirs was recently sued for libel, falsely stating info while shorting a company they wrote about. FRAUD IN ACTION. I used to think they wrote about stocks. They are CLEARLY manipulating, gouging, and denying affiliation. These are the criminals who make their money by trying to tank small businesses by shorting and writing false narratives. Talk about a husk of a company...

Don't waste your money with this service! The service cannot link my broker which is Fidelity. The service folks they have cannot speak nor understand English. Also, their suggestions for stocks are generally late and the market has already moved. Again, don't waste your money!
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your note and we apologize for any misunderstanding.
We'd love to gain a better understanding of what had transpired and provide an amicable solution.
You can refer to the following article, it has all the details regarding how you link your broker account with a Premium/PRO subscription - https://feedback.seekingalpha.com/en/knowledge-bases/2/articles/127904-can-i-link-my-broker-account-to-my-seeking-alpha-portfolio

They will bill your credit card by changing the information you submit to them, supposedly authorizing them to bill you $239. That is what happened to me.
Hi Joe,

You had given your consent for Seeking Alpha to charge your account when you subscribed to the service. The terms and conditions are clearly indicated on the purchase page, and in the welcome and payment reminder Emails we sent you.

0 stars all the way. The problem with seeking alpha is that it lacks credibility. The articles written by seeking alpha partners are highly opinion based and to be frank. Garbage. Don't listen to advice ever from this company. Not only are the articles bad. They are painfully dishonest and seeking aloha is most likely receiving money from businesses behaving in fraudulent malpractice behaviour. Look elsewhere advice for your stocks. Apes will never lose!

I do not have time to write a review but I will do it for this one. I have the same review as Moonie C. Who wrote in March 2021. I started a 14-day free trial of Seeking Alpha (SA from now) premium service. I canceled the subscription within the free trial period and should not have been charged. 2 weeks later, I received my credit card statement and saw a charge made by SA. I wrote an email requesting a refund and called the customer service. The rep told me I only canceled a service called 'The data driven investor' (DDI from now) and not the premium service. I subscribed to a 14-day premium free trial and when I clicked on "cancel" under my account setting "paid subscription", I canceled my premium service. But SA was saying I canceled DDI. Knowing there was a subscription behind the premium service and I canceled the premium service but DDI was canceled, she was not going to refund me. SA's cancellation setting is misleading and it tricks you. I asked her if I could speak with her manager but she was so unwilling. Finally, she went to check, came back and said the manager stepped outside and she would let the person know. I had a whole nine yards going back and forth, getting a scam like customer service. And then I got an email from SA with an open ticket about it. I am going to give a zero star until SA refunds me.

Stop deceiving people to fulfill your greedy narrative. Short reports by "anonymous authors" is cowardly and are typically loaded with inaccurate information. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'm not going to allege that contributors to Seeking Alpha are necessarily "pump and dump" operators, but the result in my case is the same. I lost money on every trade and now ignore them. There is an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of their emails, but you need to have a password, which I don't and never have had. So I've instructed Gmail to block them and their messages will go straight to spam.
Hi Andy,
Thanks for your note and we apologize for any misunderstanding.
We strive to ensure all our articles are factually correct but we do not keep any biases towards anybody's opinion. Authors are allowed to publish bullish/bearish articles on stocks that are long/short (respectively), providing they disclose their bias. Active investors with "skin in the game" often have some of the most articulate opinions on a stock, and we encourage them to publish their opinions on Seeking Alpha.
If you find a Seeking Alpha article containing a material factual inaccuracy, you can dispute it using the following steps:
Submit a dispute by emailing disputes@seekingalpha.com. Please be sure to include a link to the article under dispute in addition to the above information.
Identify precisely which section of the article you dispute (quoting the text), and provide supporting evidence of your claim that the article is materially wrong.
(Please do not use the dispute process to disagree with the author. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion about a stock; that's what makes a market.)
Furthermore, You can easily unsubscribe from all emails by going to your Email Alerts page: https://seekingalpha.com/account/edit_email_settings

The newsletter has a total lack of integrity and has become synonymous with enabling short attacks. There have recently been numerous articles on Seeking Alpha with anonymous authors. Anonymous? Really? A recent one was by Night Market research, a made-up name by someone whose bio says he is a "Trader/Investor with credit and equity management who likes sharing investment ideas." In other words - well - we really don't know. Mr. Short Seller (at least he admits he is) goes on to quote in his article opinions for Expert #1 and Expert #2 (both unnamed). How is such market manipulation even allowed? Because people allow it. I encourage everyone to boycott Seeking Alpha, cancel subscriptions, and encourage others to do the same, in order to demand better standards.

I started a 14-day free trial of premium service on seekingalpha.com (SA for abbreviation). According to their promotion, there should be no charge on me if I cancel it on time. I canceled the subscription precisely the same day I subscribe. However, my credit card has been charged $ 320.80 for an annual fee. The fee was not charged for the premium service but for an unknown service called 'The data driven investor' (DDI for abbreviation).
From the very beginning, I did subscribe to only one service that is a 14-day premium free trial. I did not click on any button by myself to subscribe to and did not agree to use the DDI service, not to say an annual subscription. Only SA did send me a separate email about DDI, which was automatically assigned to me, and the trial period is also 14 days. However, SA sent me too many emails a day that this email did not get my notice. As a result, I did cancel the premium service on time, but I did not cancel the DDI service. That's why I got a charge on my credit card.
It really takes some effort to get my refund. (I here give one more star because they finally refund.) Take caution; when you subscribe to one service, they may assign additional services behind you. It's their tricks. Read every email in every detail to avoid being charged, not of your own will.
Hi Moonie,
Thanks for your note. We are happy to hear your refund request was positively resolved.
To provide context to what happened:
You had opted to start a free trial to DDI immediately upon starting a free trial to Seeking Alpha Premium. Based on invaluable feedback such as yours, we came to understand that some members had difficulty understanding they were opting in to a free trial to a separate service.
We sincerely apologize to all members for any confusion or misunderstanding, and have since revised how DDI is offered within the Premium onboarding flow to make it more clear to members that they are undertaking an additional free trial that is separate from Seeking Alpha Premium.
If you have any further questions regarding DDI or Premium, feel free to share your thoughts with us directly - contactus@seekingalpha.com

Seeking Alpha put me into "moderation status" for months. Their "moderation team" had to approve every single comment that I made prior to publishing it on their site forum. After I notified Trustpilot previously about Seeking Alpha's selective censorship, depriving me of my right to free speech under the First Amendment of the US Constitution, Seeking Alpha lifted my moderation status and gave me freedom to express my opinion(s) without censorship. All of a sudden, today, without warning, Seeking Alpha put me back into moderation mode, meaning that I must receive approval from them before they will publish my comments. I sent them an email, in accordance with their own recommended company policy, requesting an explanation of what comment(s) caused them to put me back into moderation status. I was polite in my request and advised them that I needed education so that there wouldn't be a repeat of any "offensive" comments that I posted, thus avoiding the need to moderate my comments. They never replied to my respectful request and left me still in moderation mode. I STRONGLY OBJECT TO THIS RESTRICTION OF MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS! Other commenters on Seeking Alpha forums write the vilest, most objectionable comments ever, but they retain their freedom to write whatever they wish without fear of censorship. This is a classic case of persecution of a member of an Internet community by Seeking Alpha.
Hi David,
Thanks for your note and we apologize for any inconvenience, and that it took longer than usual to get back to you.
As per our records our moderation team got in touch with you on June 15th and explained why your comments were not deemed suitable to be posted on our website.
We have since restored the ability for you to freely post comments again, and would appreciate you updating your review if you are happy with the resolution.

I used to be a fan of SA but the push to make money has made it useless. Even basic news on portfolio holdings requires premium cost. They really screwed up a good thing!
Hi Steven,

We recently made some changes to our paywall policy, in order to continue providing our users with outstanding financial analysis and news.

I was supposedly issued a refund by SA but two weeks later I have seen $0. Maybe they need the money more than I do. Got nowhere with the Customer Service rep who tells me to call my bank which I did and they have not seen any type of refund. Not sure where I go next but I am not giving up.

It can be fun to argue with prejudiced participants and authors. But the advice is awful.
SA can be fun. But the advice is horrible. If you want to lose follow Seeking Alphas advice.

Answer: There was only one question in the are of your question: it was do they work in eastern time zone? I'm in the Central time zone and all times reflect my time. Although I didn't see any option to change to Eastern time. If I had to guess, I would think it could set local to members because they got everything else so right.
