Scriptlance

This site has great functionality and plenty of projects to bid on. The community, in general, is a good one and you can usually get through multiple projects without a problem. That being said, if you do end up hitting the inevitable bump and find yourself in a dispute with a buyer, ScriptLance will ALWAYS rule in favor of the buyer. With that said, I would advise all of my fellow programmers to avoid this site as much as possible. For buyers, on the other-hand, ScriptLance is probably a safe bet.

The tracking of payments and the Customer Service for this website sucks. I made two deposits into my account. One for $511.53 and the other for $25.85 using Moneybooker, one of their authorized venders. My account on this site only showed that I deposited 25.00. What happened to the $511.53? This is what I have been trying to find out!

Their website does not list a phone number for customer services, only to report a violation of their rules. You can't call and speak to a person about your concerns, you have to use email. I submitted my firsts email complaint to www.scriptlance.com on 8/10/2010 and today, 8/18/2010, I'm still trying to find out what happened to over $500.00 that I deposited into my account. MoneyBrooker provide me with a transaction number that I forwarded to Scriptlance, yet Scriptlance has yet to resolve this issue.
