Terrible service

Terrible service, would not help me. Best to buy from the merchant directly as Scoopon retain 100% of unredeemed vouchers and the merchant receives nothing. Avoid if you want customer service that is more than a robotic scripted response.

Very Bad Service
April 2, 2020

Ordered a pair of Bata shoes on 13 March 2020 order has not arrived. Confirmation email shows dispatched and supplies a tracking number which says dispatched. Agent/Chat is offline. Phones just click off. Emails or online complaint web form are ignored. Tracking number supplied for Australia Post is not valid and can't be used.
Suggest not to buy from these crooks...

FULL SERVICE BS

Management text random businesses and doesn't actually talk to them for awhile ensure they provide the full service. I bought a many pity voucher and I tried to do it so brief and dodgy and not include three of the things elements been cleared.

Hard to get a refund. Management needs to follow up and ensure we do use the titles businesses that they providing the full service as promised I'm not allowed them to do the service in the first place. Get another website is that a scoop on I think.

Stay away!

Been waiting nearly 5 months for a refund on our cruise that was cancelled due to COVID. Every time I try to contact these people by phone they leave you on hold for 30 minutes plus only for the call to be dropped. P&O cruise sent the check to be distributed back into our accounts 3 months ago! It's not good enough and I will never book through this company or recommend anyone else doing so again!

Worst company to deal with to request a refund for a holiday accommodation that cannot be redeemed due to the caronavirus flight bans.
There is no customer support at all. You try and call their support line and wait in a queue for ever with no answer. The chat on the site is always "agent offline".
Finally had some success in getting a long waited unsigned reply Ie 2 weeks later.
They offered a credit to be taken up by Oct 2020 and completed by Dec 2020.

Not good enough for me when the company will probably go into liquidation by that time for treating their clients this way.
I will never use them again

I have had a few opportunities to purchase a deal from Scoopon Australia and have found the deals to be quite good. Recently, I received a refund for $109 for a deal I purchased 2 years ago where the vendor hadn't been able to open to service the voucher. I had some initial difficulties getting in contact with the correct department to process my refund, but eventually this was possible for me and the response time and follow up was adequate.

I purchased a holiday voucher for Bali which I should be on now. I have bought numerous holidays from them and their partners Luxury Escapes. Of course Covid19 started and my holiday cancelled. They have had my money from 8/19 and they are refusing a refund even though I am entitled to one as per Au Consumer laws. I am not accepting their offer if extending booking dates. I want MY money back.

I bought a holiday voucher that needed to be cancelled due to COVID19. Scoopon have marked the voucher as now expired' despite my having cancelled with both scoopon and the service provider. I keep contacting them
About it and getting no reply. A bunch of sharks and scammers who take money for doing nothing. The money would not have even passed to the service provider yet, so Scoopon have no right to cancel the voucher. I've used scoopon a lot in the past - never again.

Brilliant deal from Scroopon. Best Massage I have EVER had. $99 for an hour of massage of your choice including facial, facial scrub, body scrub, spa & pool, the use of exercise equipment included, plus a hairdryer added for clients, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Dressing gown & slippers included. Great day overall.

Fantastic support!

We weren't able to use vouchers we had due to covid and the restaurant closing. Scoop on gave us credit for 17 months! We have just been in South Australia where we were able to book 4 different restaurants/wineries without any trouble at all! Can't speak highly enough of the Kersbrook Hills winery deal... beautiful platter, huge glass of fabulous red bubbly etc. we have used scoopon regularly without any problem at all! Highly recommend!

Vendor was cold, not friendly and offensive. Made me feel very uncomfortable to the point i didnt want to use the service any longer. Scoopon very hard to deal with customer service wise, not for the 'customer happiness' at all, as they claim. Made me feel like the person in the wrong. Will never use again as this is probably my 3rd bad experience through them.

I've bought the voucher from the website, a restaurant voucher. Then 15 days before the voucher expired. I tried to make a booking. "Mamaca's kitchen on chapel street". The restaurant's phone had no answer, only left a voice mail saying "booked out untill 30th June" (which is the expiry date of the voucher.) I've been emailing scoopon & the restaurant, no valid response is received except telling me I'm too late to leave it to the last moment, and no refund will be given. As far as I know there are about 200 customers are in my situation!

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service of this company. It took nearly two weeks for them to get back to me with an official response to my problem after asking multiple questions. At the end they only offered me a 50% credit instead of a full refund for my troubles. I have since read an article stating that the ACCC are taking Scoopon to the Federal Court for misleading their customers. Wish I had read this article earlier. DON'T buy from this company, they are misleading, unhelpful and they take forever to respond to a simple question. DON'T BUY from SCOOPON!

Our family was due to travel to Baii from 13-21 July staying at at Inaya Putri resort on a Scoopon voucher. I previously sent an email more than 2 weeks ago requesting a full refund from Scoopon as we have no intent of travelling to Bali in the next five years due to Covid19, but received no response from Scoopon. I have contacted Scoopon by phone today and was advised that they are not willing to pay a refund but instead offering a credit to be spent on a luxury escapes deal. This option is not suitable to our family of 5 as Luxury escapes is targeted to couples accommodation and limited to travel outside school holidays. When I advised Scoopon that this was not a suitable option for our family they advised that would provide forms to for us to pursue a claim through our credit card insurance company. Scoopon is clearly avoiding it's obligations under Australian consumer law. The contract is frustrated and a full refund is warranted. I will be pursing further action for a full refund.

To finish our holiday in Bali we went to the Seminyak Private Pool Beachside Villas and WOW Breakfast each morning delivered, WOW 2 cocktails each day, WOW 3 lunch/dinners served in our villa and round trip airport transfers.
The staff were absolutely brilliant and caring with a special mention of reception staff Candra, Purnama, Lila and Dion and also to our driver Wira (Ketut). We have already booked in October to go back to see these wonderful Balinese people and accommodation.

Scammer!

I bought this voucher - https://www.scoopon.com.au/services/deal/steam-carpet-upholstery-lounge-cleaning-parramatta-sydney-offer--0062y*******LojRAAS, but the vendor failed to respond to my booking which I made 13 days prior to the actual booking date.

I sent an email on Nov 13th to book for the cleaning service on Nov 26th before I moved in on Nov 27th. The vendor never confirmed my booking even after I sent multiple emails to them.

Calls always went to their voicemail and they never called back. The vendor is D & A Maintenance! Remember this name. Never purchase from them!

The voucher was never redeemed then on Nov 27th, all of a sudden the vendor replied booking confirm on Dec 18th and the voucher now shows redeemed on Nov 27th.

I chatted with and sent to Scoopon numerous times for a refund but their response is always the same, which is "Please keep an eye on your email for updates". But you guessed it right! No updates ever received.

Scoopon, if you read this, my case number is *******!

I WANT A REFUND!
