Scientific Sales was great, first to last. I was less thrilled with Davis Instruments, makers of the WeatherLink and Weather Envoy. I had to call their tech support to get the system to work with my computer. However, it's up and running, everything looks good.

Order process went fine. We'll see how fast the shipping process goes. Shipped fast, get my order in less than a week. In the process of putting it together and mounting the station. Seems like a really nice unit. Better than the one that I had and replacing.
I live on an island with no bridge in South Carolina so monitoring the weather is important. The Davis Vantage Vue was easy to install on a post at my dock. The instructions were well written and easy to follow.
Expensive shipping
Added a receiver for the Vantage Vue and it arrived and worked just fine after set-up.

Product received is good quality. Installation documentation leaves much to be desired. I think Davis Instruments are good quality but pricing is too high and out of line with other more sophisticated technology type products. They force you to buy the WeatherLink software along with logger and it is archaic not suitable for they way most people want to use the PWS to upload data to weather networks. I only bought the USB data logger so I could connect to MeteoBridge to transmit data to Weather Underground and NWS COWP. The TP-LINK TL-MR3020 3G/4G Wireless N Router is the heart of the system and much more complex in design than the USB data logger yet 1/4 the price ($30).
