They say the five star ratings are written by the company so maybe the one star are written by drug company employees. We will never know. I am just a regular woman with no affiliations. I can't even afford the program, but I have read everything that is free on the internet and it agrees with others who are well known and give good health advice on many things. The diet and supplements are recommended highly by several doctors, so they cannot hurt and worth a try. I can say that since following the plan, I feel better overall and my right knee which was painful is not bothering me as much. I am against drugs. Too many side effects. If you don't want to buy right now look up some articles on Save Our Bones to learn a lot for free.
I will start by saying some emails got my $67 returned quickly.
I purchased $17.00 worth of supplements and then paid $67.00 for the MAIN package. I downloaded the supplements and stapled them. When a month passed I emailed Save and they said the MAIN booklet was a download too. Surprise! After printing 300 or more pages my printer broke, I had used a lot of ink, and paper and the MAIN $67 dollar program turned out to be only the supplemental pages printed twice more in some cases. Not good.
A treasure of information and eye-opening information. Wish my doctor told me about many of the studies cited on the website. I plan on purchasing their program but am learning as much as I can from their free resources. Highly recommend anyone interested in improving their bone health to take an honest look. The information and depth of research speaks for themselves.
I purchased their program and recipe book and I must say that the information provided is very eye opening and insightful. The website really is a great resource too. I'm sure you could get this info elsewhere but the way they put it together is why I highly recommend it.
Not sure why some here say there's no data backing it up. Their website has a bunch of references and the program has a bibliography. I haven't double checked the sources myself but they seem to all be legitimate medical sources. Overall I'm very glad I found Save our Bones.
I'm very grateful for their research and appreciate all they do to help us with our bones. The website and programs have been life savers. Extremely well researched. I try to follow the path to get my bones on the right track and it's working. Continued blessings!
I have evidence that the negative reviews on here are a hit job from the big drug manufacturers. I've sent the evidence to sitejabber but haven't heard back. Please email me at *******@journalist.com and I can provide it.
I've followed Save Our Bones for a while and have interacted with the company after purchasing two of their programs. They are most definitely not a scam.
Hi there. I have had osteoporosis for a number of years now. Saveourbones was recommended to me by a consultants wife, after a devastating appointment. I have not bought the e-books but I HAVE received regular emails. They contain helpful and informative info, exercises and recipes. Yes, Saveourbones has advertised their books (I've even considered purchasing some of them and still might), but there is no hard sell. Over the years I have found them supportive and its comforting to know that I am not the only soul who resists the rheumatolagists threats of doom and gloom if I don't take his medication. I am 73, don't work and have no bias toward this company. I just speak as I find.
Not only can you find this information online, but their suppositions about milk only apply to pasteurized products, not raw.
Plus, you see all these 5 star reviews? There is no cure for osteoporosis, which usually sets in in your 50s. The original edition of the program was released sometime around 2007, give or take a couple years. Now how would anyone know if the program worked already?
That's how you know it's a scam.
I trust Save Our Bones as my support for my bone health. I'm not one to blindly trust but everything is sourced and my doctor even heard about the website and encourages me to follow it. I took Fosomax for two years and my numbers were not improving. Now I'm drug free and feeling great.
I followed their program (most of it, I didn't exercise as much as I should have) for a little over 9 months and last week I got my bone test results back. I went from osteoporosis to osteopenia and my doctor told me to continue what I was doing. I couldn't be happier and I hope everyone can have access to the program.
I want to share how many positive consequences this website has. I can't remember when I exactly I bought the book (around early 2000s) but have consistently read all the emails and advice that they so freely share. In 2001 after an MRI and bone density scan a I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. The doctors put me on a path of Fosamax, Actonel, and others, all of which made me very ill. Thanks to Save Our Bones, I stopped the medications, followed the diet, exercises, knowledge, because I had an intense desire to control my own health. All this resulted in a scan which now shows only mild osteoarthritis from too much heavy work but ZERO osteoporosis! My thanks for your dedication.
I found save our bones after being diagnosed with osteoporosis. I wasn't sure if their program would work but was willing to try. The information is sound. After about 13 months I went in for another scan and my doctor couldn't believe her eyes. My T scores were in the osteopenia range. 9 months later I was in the safe zone and didn't even have osteopenia. I'm convinced it was the save my bones program along with the supplements I'm taking. I felt the need to leave this review here so others would know. Very very happy I found this website and I tell everyone I know who can be helped by it that it exists.
I am an RN recently retired with a Dexa scan of -2.9... started on Boniva February 1,2018... 2nd pill 3/01/2018 and last night 3/02/2018 I was in (and am in) so much pain I was in tears. I can barely get myself to the bathroom. Today I find out that this back and rib pain is a side effect (rare) of Boniva... OMG I read the literature and NEVER expected rare side effect... come to find out this side effect is NOT that rare, per my pharmacist. I will be reviewing this program and have cancelled the Boniva order.
I have followed Vivien for years. Done everything that was recommended. My T score is worse. This programme does not work for everybody. Very disappointing
This book cost $70 and contains very basic information about diet and excercise. There is no program only many emails for you to buy more. I emailed several times to ask questions and never received an answer. I called customer service to return the book/program and was told after being sent from one number to the next that there really was no customer service just sales people. Consequently, the book could not be returned. Anyone with severe bone loss should consult several specialists to look at options for treatment of their condition and what the expected results would be with these options.
Although the information on the website is important, the "products" are a rip off, as you can glean most of the info from the website rather than paying $67 plus shipping for a paper back book. The bonuses and handbooks are all downloads. This doc is making mega bucks off those of us who have been scared by other docs and are seeking alternative solutions for bone issues.
It looks as though you will get all the merchandise shown for $67. Upon receipt you will only get the bone health book. Everything else is a digital download. All through the web site, this isn't told. It is in italics in the order form. Company says to forward info to a friend or Office Max. You will be spending more money to get this info. Paperback book isn't worth what you pay. Don't order. I'm sending mine back for money return.
I am 83 years old, I have order the bon appetit package books with a money order and after one month and 5 long distance calls I have no positive action from Save our bones. This is my experience about the failed purchase of books of Vivian goldschmidt, MA. From charly (*******@gmail.com Thank you
If you actually apply what you learn in the books it will change your life. It did mine, and I have no complaints. And $67 is a bargain compared to what the pharmaceutical companies are peddling. Vivian is doing a great service.
Delivers exactly what it says it will deliver, and it assures me daily that I am on the right track in taking care of my bones. I feel more secure in the decision I have made to forego the drugs and apply good living, good eating habits and good, bone healthy exercises.
Answer: This is the one I take. I use it for half of my intake. I used others over the years and kept switching because I was desperate to slow my bone density loss. I did a kitchen counter test one time of 3 different calciums. From then on I've Garden of Life product because it dissolved way faster in the vinegar/water solution than the other two products.(One of the calciums I tested was a calcium citrate and it took quite a while.) I cannot claim that slowing of my bone density loss was due to the change as I changed other things at the same time. I take a high-calcium yogurt (400 mg/8oz) for the balance of my calcium. Pretty good with 1/2 a banana and some walnunts.
Answer: Amanda, it took around 6 months but finally I got my order. This is a book marketing company run by dummies. Vivian plays her game and gets rich
Answer: They've changed their name to the Save Institute. Go to saveinstitute.com and re-register with them. I get very regular, and often helpful, emails from them.
