Santander

My experience with Santander is not a good one. I had a safety deposit box with them that. I was told to close. They were doing away with boxes. No problem. Did what I was told dropped off keys but a year later still haven't received my refund check. They refused to send my refund say I need to go into branch. I refuse to step into bank because of my treatment. It's not the money but the principle. I was there to drop keys they could have done something than. Now the Union Turnpike branch refuses my refund. Guess they need it more than me. In meantime stopped using their credit card closed savings and put $1.00 a week into checking to keep open. Have that acct number approximately 40 years from different banks at that location. Never had problems till Santander. MY OPINION STAY AWAY FROM SANTANDER BANK.

I called in to get a new charge card and they said it would take a week?

A week later I get the pin number for no charge...

Dealing with foreigners and foreign countries that don't understand English and don't understand us is stupid...
