I would give this place Zero stars if I could. Never taken time to do a review before but I am compelled to do this one as a public service. Used the expedited service and paid $179 to do so. They advertise that the process takes 4-6 weeks. The way the process is supposed to work is one day to DC (you pay FedEx for this), one day review, and then one day to State Dept. It has been 9 days and my passport is still listed as under review. They can't even identify where it actually is. They did disclose that after they review it in DC, they actually use USPS to ship the passports to Philadelphia for processing. USPS! Why are we paying them then?
Given my passport's alleged status as "under review" for the last week, it's probably lost. Even if they find it, and actually get it to a State Dept. location, they are saying the 4-6 week time starts from that point. As you will see from other reviews here, they often fail to mark your passport as expedited, even when you pay for it.
Here's a tip - fill out the forms and overnight it from USPS and pay the 60 bucks for expedited. It will actually get to you faster for cheaper.
Also the call center people are rude, never have someone call you back in the time frame they are supposed to, and put fake supervisors on the phone when you try to escalate your concern.
Save your money because these people don't rush anything. And when you call all they do is refer you to the government agency. They have the easiest job, everything is no or I don't know.

Also, on the order summary when selecting the service in bold it states 'Not including $208.32 government fee'. I'm unsure how or why you would say it's a scam
Needed updated passport because i was traveling internationally in a little over 2 weeks. Bought the 2 week deal and then i was told after i went through all the work that 2 weeks for them means 14 business days. In normal vernacular that = 3 weeks. Very frustrating and misleading, but oh well. So i cancelled that order and purchased the 1 week express service. After you complete all the documents you get an email that says to call a number to "download documents". I called, and called, and called. It was always either 1) "we are experiencing higher than normal call volume so leave a message and we will call you back" (which i did mulitile times and never got a call back) or 2) it goes to an answering service who knows nothring but takes your number for them to call you back. Never received call back, ever. I had to scramble and buy a flight across the country to go to a government passport place to get it done. Now it has been over a month and i still dont have my $968 refunded even though i requested it a month ago. I called again today and they said their refund department is running behind. What a joke. I would highlly recommend against using this service.

I had no idea howto renew my expired Passport. A customer service from Fed called me person when I was searching online, but was in the car when she called. She said I can go to Fed Ex do the full passport application their they do it all. Well I didn't look up anything further went their after she called,sat down on the computer started the process and completed it,never saw any fee's except the ones I chose for slower delivery and lower cost being $130 plus another fee bringing it to $147 with tax, for 8 weeks delivery of passport. Ok all good, no it wasn't, photo costs $16 if fed ex does it, then you have to enclose another $203 check or money order government fee. Out the door fee's are $350. Here's the thing I had no idea when doing this application on the site it was only an expedited passport site, you have to pay those fee's for that only. So I didn't need any of that. I never was told any of this and didn't see this when filling out the application at Fed Ex., nor did I see any upfront fee's for expedited application with this website. If you get on to their site you will find all that out,not at the Fed ex if you just walk in to do a passport application? I wasn't told this on the phone by Fed Customer service either. Now my daughter made me aware of what this was. So now i need a refund to start the process all over again online.My point be careful just walking into fed Ex to think you can do an ordinary Passport application, you can't it's on expedited and expensive.
I got my passport faster than the estimated time. I was able to make my trip without any issues. I would recommend rush my passport for their expedited services.

They claim to have an office inside FEDEX-when I went there-I received no help and was told I could "print documents" and get a photo-I got my photos done in a white button shirt and the fedex/rush my passport employee stated that was fine-the photos were later rejected for "wearing a white t shirt" I had to pay to retake photos and pay again to reship the photos-I processed everything on 07/19…the post office would've done all of this with no fee and got the passport back to me in 90 days-what is this company's services if you can't get it back sooner? Why pay them to do something that is free and the results are the same? I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't use them again-
Now if I get my passport back in less than 45 days-then I'd change my stance to a 5 star review…
We are located in over 2,000 FedEx office stores across the country. If the store you visited did not know about the process, I am sorry about that and would ask you to alert me to the store address. However, I see that there must be something that you decided to trust us, in that you sent us your documents and they are now at the Passport Agency.
I went to the Fed-EX website and decided to use RushMyPassport's services because I needed to get my passport in a rush for an upcoming trip. I paid $170 - filled in the forms and mailed the forms to the US Department of State vis the post office ( I called RushMyPassport's support line and was told to send my documents through the postal service). I did all the leg work to get my passport - which I now have. RushMyPassport "DID NOTHING"I have contacted them for a refund. I have reached out to Fed-EX and the US Department of State to file a complaint.

I was under an extremely tight timeline to get my passport renewed and I looked into this company at the recommendation of a friend who had used them years ago.
After filling out all the forms and paying them I received an email later that day that I needed to contact them to continue the process. I called early the next day and was only able to leave a message. I called again and again was only able to leave a message. No response. I used their "chat". Crickets. Someone finally called me back only to be told by that point they could not get me my passport on time. She asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes. I assumed I would get the refund in a timely manner. It's been weeks. I've been calling and leaving messages that no one returns. I now have my cc company and the better business bureau involved.
* update: I finally got an email back that they were processing my refund. Not sure if it was the involvement of my CC company or the BBB or just the accounting dept is very disorganized. Whatever the case the company was stressful to deal with.
You still need to have a passport agent sign your papers, which was why I wanted to use rushmypassport for. Hard to get to a passport agent in less than a month!
Do not pay for this service. Go directly through the post office. Be aware you will not be able to get your refund for months so be careful paying for this service.
I created an account to get started. The online process asked me questions and pre-filled the info on the passport application. Found out later, I could have done that myself for free instead of paying $109 to download the pre-filled application. The video on the website showed how their process works. It showed that FedEx takes the photo and handles the application and shipping process, all included. That was not true at all! I had to make an appt with an authorized agent (which took several weeks post office near me was booked out) plus I had to pay an extra $16 for my passport photo. I had my photo done at Walgreens since it was no difference in the fee that FedEx charged. FedEx did absolutely nothing. So, I would agree with other Reviewers, this appears to be a scam and I'll be reporting to BBB if my money isn't refunded. Times are too hard to be scamming people out of their hard earned money. (Paying the separate government fee was not an issue because the website did advise that.)
Should have listened to the bad reviews and at this point am pretty convinced positive reviews are not real. Spent an exorbitant amount to expedite passport in 5 weeks to ensure I had plenty of time and wouldn't worry, starting the process with over two months of leeway. This "service" set me back and wasted so much time. Absolutely feel like an idiot for not just doing this direct with the gov. Company is near impossible to effectively get ahold of and inexplicably held on to my app for WEEKS before submitting. No proactive communication. I am actually unclear at all what I paid them hundreds for as I am now having to fly to another state emergently to try and make my trip. What a nightmare. We are well beyond the original travel date I gave the service and there has been zero proactive communication. No assistance whatsoever. No updates. I cannot recommend enough that you skip using them. Check out ALL of the bad reviews and believe them. You know a company doesn't stand by their own service when you can sign up easily online but in order to get a refund you have to fill out an emailed pdf that isn't even set up as a form and physically mail it in. They know how many people they don't serve and are playing a numbers game. RUN.

Had a great initial experience at the Manahawkin NJ Post office very experienced staff.
The balance of the process was on time and the website was informative.
I paid for 5 week expedited passport renewal. Passport package left LA on January 11th and arrived in West Palm Beach on January 13th. Then no further updates. Friday February 3rd I got a call from the New Orleans passport agency that they had my check but no application, no expired passport or photo. Only the check. Mind you the check had been inside my passport. I called RushMyPassport on Friday the guy told me to cancel my check then said he couldn't hear me and hung up. I called today waited on hold for 45 minutes spoke to a woman who put me on hold to see what was going on 10 minutes later she gets back on the phone and I hear her go " oh my volume isn't on" then nothing, I waited another ten minutes. The hold music was gone and she never came back. I called the New Orleans passport office and they advised I assume that the application and passport were stolen by RushMyPassport and fill out the necessary forms for a stolen passport. Here was my account number so you guys can look up how you let that happen. GW-C2680BA40. Also, the chat option doesn't work on your website.
Very fast and hassle free service. Would definitely use your services again. Our passport agency office is located in our major city, three hours away so the time saved for my boss, a busy executive who would have had to take the whole day to deal with this, was well worth the fee.

I am sorry that you feel that we are a scam. I can assure you that we are not. We have not lost your passport, rather it was submitted on your behalf at the agency and is awaiting completion. The Passport Agency has been running a little behind in checking orders into the agency. They are no longer checking them in at arrival, rather when they begin the process. This means that while it maybe multiple days until it shows up in the system, don't worry that it is lost. Again, sorry and we hope to have it back in your hands sooner than the 4 weeks.
