So I ordered running boards for a 2018 F250. Beautiful product well-built I began the process of installing them following the instructions they sent after installing both driver and passenger realized they weren't right took them back off call the company found out they sent the wrong instructions after dealing with customer service they sent me a new instructions and set me a $$ return for my aggravation and apologized. Humans make mistakes and overall satisfied with the outcome I would definitely purchase from this company again. Customer service was extremely Pleasant to work with
Running boards arrived with 2 broken end caps. Started with a live chat complaint. Received an email they will not respond to. I emailed them again requesting 2replacement end caps or advise on the return process and again no response. I do no think they are interested in any kind of customer service. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company

Ordered approximately $500 part sent by FedEx. Never delivered. Tracking shows it never left their local FedEx. RBW never investigates. I write an email inquiry. No response. Call and speak to a human who "will investigate. No follow up. Call a second time. Ask for a refund. They offer to "request a return order refund" on the parts I never received. "This is the only option I have to offer sir". Incompetent thieves. Will now be going through the credit card company.
Watch out for these guys. They make promises they don't deliver on.
I bought boards from them in April and have been trying since April 27 to get them to honor their low price guarantee. I found the same boards I bought at a competitor for less money and have followed up with them at least 7 times since then trying to get them to honor their low price guarantee. All I have gotten is the runaround so far.

Took 1 month to even receive a tracking number. Then when I looked up the tracking it was in the same location for almost a week. I called Running Board Warehouse and they wanted me to call the freight company. NO HELP! I do not recommend purchasing anything from this place. I would like to give negative stars but I had to mark 1 start to leave the comment.
Two years ago, I purchased these step bars, in January of 2019, their accounting department had this record in their system. I also have a record of the purchase from by VISA Card. The rubber is turning into a liquefied tar like substance, later hardening and then pealing off, the tar like state gets all over one's cloths & carpet. The step bars were suppose to have a 5 year warranty, I didn't ask for new bars, only rubber step pads & I would replace them myself. Do NOT purchase anything from this vendor, from my experience they will NEVER stand behind their products. (purchased from Running Board Warehouse) *******@yahoo.com

During the pandemic my wife ordered running board for my truck. They sent the wrong ones and when I emailed them they kept telling me there were right. So I installed them, once i took pictures and showed then they don't fit, they said I cant return them because they were installed. So now Im out $700 because of this POS company. They are horrible.
I wrote a post on their facebook page and it was erased and comments were tuned off so nobody can comment now.
SO PLEASE DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!
ALSO LOOK THROUGH ALL THE REVIEWS IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THEY HAVE SCREWED OVER BIG TIME.

They have some problems, but the customer service people do try and resolve the situation. They called back promptly and worked through the problems. They ultimately were missing some hardware which I picked up at the store (something they can fix). They offered to credit but the expense without request.
They have some things to fix, but they're trying hard. I take back my 1 star and improve to 4.

First off they don't own a warehouse, they buy from other actual vendors. They aren't up to date on what their vendors carry so they often sell things that aren't in stock. This wouldn't be all bad but their customer service sucks and I mean sucks. They won't update you on your order, will ask you to wait a few days for a simple thing like is an item in stock or has shipped. They will waste your time day after day with follow-up emails and calls. The company needs to go out of business or be sued for shady business practices. No clue how they can process credit cards, they must have an incredibly high chargeback rate because, well simply put they suck at what they do. Stay away, pay more at some other site for the simple fact that you'll probably end up with better customer service. Thanks, Running Board Warehouse for wasting two weeks of my time.

Do not believe the "estimated delivery" of product. I purchased product from this site because the delivery time was better than the competitor. I was mislead by this company. After 2 weeks I had not even received a product shipped email. I checked status through customer service rep which took several days to get an answer of "estimated delivery" another month out. Just received another update...another 5-6 weeks out. That is 11 weeks for this product to get delivered. I just cancelled my order

Terrible service. Sent me 3 different delivery dates. Them said they can't deliver at all due to back order. Offered me a different set, called and emailed for 3 days trying to get the set they offered. TREIN then emailed (instead of calling) and says they can't get those either. Wasted a month with this company. Buy any where but here. Waste of time.
I ordered Nerf bars for my truck. Gave them all details pertaining to the truck. The shipment arrived and was left in the driveway! Brought it into the garage and compared the nerf bar off a damaged one from my truck. The mounting holes did not line up, and the metal was very thin. I called them immediately, and received the message that "we are experiencing a very high volume of calls, and wait time exceeds one hour". I waited for the hour, which became 1 1/2 hours, but still no response! Never received a call back! Wrote on their chat line, and included all information. Their response was to call to speak to someone directly! Contacted my credit card company to dispute. Out of curiosity, I called the phone # again, and got the same message. Probably many pissed off customers. The Nerf bars go to the junkyard if they don't pick them up. Think twice about purchasing from these clowns!

This company does not hold up to what they say. They are not the fastest shipper but are there fastest at making excuses. They have an excuse for everything. I ordered for my truck like many have but they lie and don't tell you the are not instock. Instead they act like they are and take your money right away. Been over a week and I've received no tracking order and called and told it could be 20 days. Pathetic, excuse of a company with they're shark tactics. Do not use... Refund could be 1 to 10 days but they can take it out right away.

I called and opened up a damage claim, then weeks went by with no follow-up and no response from Running Board Warehouse. I sent multiple follow-up emails and attempted to call the same number the original order was placed through and follow-up damage claim placed only to find this number had been disconnected / no longer in service…
After weeks of no response or follow-up by Running Board Warehouse I was forced to dispute this transaction with my credit card carrier. My credit card carrier refunded my purchase transaction.
ONLY after this took place did Running Board Warehouse get back to me, many weeks later after not responding once, or at all previously.
I firmly believe that if I did not dispute this transaction through my credit card company and get a refund, Running Board Warehouse would have never responded to me or done anything to resolve my receipt of damaged goods.
Buyer beware, find another place to make your purchases! There are plenty of good vendors out there, Runningboard Warehouse in not one of them.

Extremely dirty business practices. I placed an order on June 9th 2020. Their website boasts about how fast they ship. Says 24/48 hours if in stock. I received a tracking number on the 16th. By th 22nd FedEx still hadn't received the package for shipping. I called customer service, it took over 4 hours to get through. I had asked for them to cancel my order and issue a refund. They said they can't and that I would have to wait for the boards to ship. Then I would have to return them, then wait 2 weeks for a refund. They finally arrived on the 25th and I wouldn't let FedEx take them off the truck. Now we wait for a refund. Avoid this place at all costs. A little transparency would have went a long way.
So ordering was easy, item shipped quickly, instructions are not the best, but I was able to understand how to install since I had already watched a video on installation. I got one of the front brackets on and went to install one of the rear brackets only to find out I was missing the hardware for both rear brackets. All the packages had a QC inspection sticker on them. I guess who ever counts was either drunk, or just don't care about the job they are doing. This is why American manufacturing has gone downhill over the years. Now I have to wait another week before I even get the hardware needed. P.S. I dont' know how they have a 4.8 on google reviews since I wasn't able to even find out how to post a google review. HMMMM

Ordered a product on 7/28/2020 which will "ship in 24hrs". NEVER SHIPPED. Started to TRY to cancel the order on 8/21/2020. Told me its coming from the vendor so we have to cancel it there, and once we get a confirm from them we will cancel it. Figured ok, give them the benefit of the doubt. This brings us to 8/31/2020. They sent me an "updated shipping date" email for SEPT 3rd... WTF! CANCEL THE ORDER ALREADY! I had to dispute charge with card company. Spoke with 7 different people. Completely crazy, too bad there isnt a ZERO STAR option.
Orders running boards. Couldn't tell you about the product, just that I ordered them 3 weeks ago and never received them. FedEx lost the package and this company only ships through FedEx. I requested a refund and they told me it would take 3 days to make a claim for the lost package. Well it's been 3 days and now they're telling me it could be 2 more weeks (8+ business days) until I receive a refund. I was told today I would receive a call back about the package but alas nobody called. Extremely frustrated with the customer service for this company and I wish I had just went to a dealership and paid the extra cost to receive a product in a timely manner. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company.
I spent $900 with this company for some running boards. After a week I sent an email only to get no response, then started calling only to sit on hold forever. Then when I did get someone on the phone the first person gave me the busy shipping times type of BS, then after another week I started calling again and then come to find out that the running boards were in a warehouse in the next city. The lady at running board warehouse then gave me a link to the company and said I have to get in touch with them to schedule my own delivery. I made several attempts to contact the shipper by phone, forget about that, I held on the phone for 45 minute 2 x's. Then I tried by email and they had an auto generated response that said we have forwarded your request to the warehouse for an update. 24 Hrs. Later no response, I cancelled my order, charged it back on my card, and ordered a new set from another vendor and I will have them in 2 days.
We needed running boards for our Dodge Ram 1500, so I searched for a good place to buy them. I read glowing reviews of Runningboard Warehouse so on February 22,2023, I placed my order for a set of running boards and paid for them. A couple days later I received the first email with a delivery date for a week later. Three days after the first email, I received a second email with a new delivery date of two weeks out. The third email arrived two days later and pushed the delivery date out another week. Our running boards wouldn't arrive for a month! This was unacceptable. I had to use a step stool to get into our truck, and we needed those running boards.
First I contacted the company via email.The response was vague for a delivery date. Next, I called the company, and the representative told me the running boards I ordered were back ordered and had been for awhile. I asked why, if the boards weren't available for immediate purchase, we're they listed on their website as available? The rep could not answer my question, and could not give me a date the running boards would be available. I told her I'd wait another day and if the boards weren't available, I'd cancel my order.
The next day I received a cancellation of my order email, and subsequently received a refund. The email was from Real Truck, another of their companies. I conducted further research into Running Board Warehouse and Real Truck and found many negative reviews of both I should have read prior to my purchase. Numerous reviews said the same thing I experienced, both companies list running boards from vendors on their websites but neither actually carries them. Neither company removes listings for back ordered running boards, nor does either one place a notice on a listing when the boards are back ordered or otherwise unavailable. I read so much anger and frustration about both company's business practices.
I was lucky my order cancellation and refund went smoothly. Others were not so fortunate. I cannot and will not recommend doing business with Running Board Warehouse or Real Truck.
I subsequently ordered running boards from a company on Amazon, received them a week later, and got them installed on our truck. We're so happy with these running boards!
