I have been shopping with ROMANS FOR years. I loved their clothes. Now they have cheap fabric's, the sizes are off and they charge you 10.99 to return your refund to original method of payment. I'm so upset they sent me the wrong color leggings and I always order a 1x in tops and they fit perfect. I just ordered a top in 1x and it is huge humongous and this top is made in Pakistan and The fabric is itchy. It fades quickly they used to have things made in marantis which was so nice the material. Not anymore. Their prices have gone way way up it is ridiculous. I'm going to turn them into the Better Business Bureau for charging 11 dollars to put your return back on your original method of payment. I will never order another thing from them again. They are ripping people off shame on you, Romans😡🤬😡

Per their Roamans platinum card, customers are to receive 4 free shippings/year when spend over $75. I spent $166 and had to return. They refused to honor their free shipping statement. I thus closed account/service with them. Have had other issues with their sorry Customer Service, as well.

Tip for consumers:
I was a NEW Customer with over an 800 credit score. Their LOSS.

Does NOT honor their 4 free shippings/Year with purchases over $75 using their plattinum card.
Also, Very sorry Customer Service. STAY AWAY.

That charged me $25.61 to return an item that was not even worth $10! They say it's easy to return but you will never receive a full refund and you will be charged outrageous shipping fees! Their customer service has minimal information, at best, and if you try to escalate the call you are transferred to another country. I have bought many items from them over the years but they have changed and I will NEVER order from any of their companies again! If I could give less than 1 star I would!

They advertise clothes they don't have. They charge exorbitant rates for shipping. The clothes that do arrive are often unwearable—pants with the waist under the boobs, but too short in the pant leg for example, as well as cheap fabrics. Then they advertise immediate gift cards with happy returns but in fact do not issue the gift card at all.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a full length plaid robe from Roamans recently. The first time I wore it, I got some food on the sleeve. I took a paper towel and water and gently rubbed the food off. THE BLACK COLOR CAME OFF on the napkin showing the red underneath! I have had several emails back and forth with Roamams customer service. They will refund my money with a $10.99 "processing fee". I already paid to have the robe shipped to me, and since the item is complete junk, this is completely unacceptable!

Instead of taking my gift card off of the subtotal they add it so I take a screenshot of my account I call I'm on the phone for 2 days with 10 different people including supervisors who have a snotty attitude specialist David specialist meliza supervisor who can't even see my balance people pretending their psychic and don't even look at what's going on they sit and bicker and say that my screenshots don't exist so if corporate doesn't respond in a normal manner I will take it to small claims there corporate office number is *******168

THEY PUT SOME THINGS ON BACK ORDER AND DONT TELL YOU WHEN YOU ORDER THEM YOU HAVE TO WAIT! THEN YOU WAIT MONTHS AND THEY CANCEL THEM!

They took 6 months to ship my order. It was delivered to the wrong state. When I called them back they said they couldn't do anything about it because the order was over 30 days! Horrible customer service, horrible agents who do not speak English, horrible experience. DO NOT BUY...it is just not worth the hassle.

Roaman's is part of a larger grouping of clothing option. Easy to return items however you will never receive a full refund and can only purchase another item using their "gift card". When speaking with their customer service the person has limited information and than transfers your call to someone in another country. I would never buy from any of these stores even if I was left with wearing only a gunny sack. If I could give a minus Star, I would.

At Romans there is no customer service- but there is customer disservice. Managers "dont take calls" and associates who answer the phone are empowered to do nothing. In addition they run a scam where they bill you $16.95 for some kind of "club"...problem is that they dont make it clear its a recurring charge until you sign up; then they give you a number to call to cancel...you guessed it- they dont just cancel they "escalate" it - that means I wait for an email to move on with the cancelation. Will wind up going through my credit card company- this kind of behavior is unacceptable and shameful. Avoid these folks.

I would think second about buying from these people. This is the second time, and every time I bought something they've charged a few cents extras, but it still is the fact that you don't do that you don't go and charge a few cents extra because it's a mistake on your end.

I get a bill every month saying that they owe me 8 cents. They refuse to stop sending me this. I don't owe them any money, you'll regret doing business with them.

Getting their customer service and community bank customer service to help me is a real nightmare. They continue to send me a bill every month saying they owe me 8 cents and they refuse to stop sending it to me or to pay me the $0.08.

Tried to find a pair of extra wide shoes for my wife and paid ninety dollars for a pair from roamans. They didnt fit and roamans charged me thirty dollars to return them.rip off! I didnt want a credit for their products so I ate my loss.here we are four months later and I find they have been charging our debit $17.80 a month for some bogus membership associated with free shipping.they said because we qualified for free shipping they had us join the membership. Dirty rotten lying shilocks and would screw a disabled housewife for money. Dirty rotten Bas%rds!

The company used to be decent. This year just horrible returned 3 pack of bra's that were a BOGO and kept 1 bra. Charged a fee 10.99. Original order was 161 plus change. Bra I kept was 49.99 was refunded 72.00. For a 50 dollar bra I owe them 90 bucks. Rip off in shipping fees and return fees. I will never do business with them anymore

I have years earlier ordered from some of these companies never had a problem until now ordered one their store credit cards to purchase some items which the coupons looked attractive on the ads, the coupon came with the credit card got ready to order they{coupons} don't work I was told by customer service it's a third party coupon now what does that mean? That I CAN'T use it, makes NO sense.Truly believe these are maybe not all foreign investors that have brought up these companies...Can't stand the call center the noise is awful.I'm so disappointed...Good luck to anyone else maybe you'll have better experience...

I order a jacket in Oct 2021, for the first 3mos it says it ready to be shipped from carol stream. Roamans is saying I still have to pay for it even though I have not received it. What a joke now shipping changes about every other day saying it's ready to be shipped.and gives different delivery days. How is it ok for a company to make me pay for something I never received. I know they have insurance on lost items so they will double there money on this jacket. That's stealing not only from there customers but the insurance places to there thiefs! Thief! Also

It's no accident in looking for a place to vent I read this per Sitejabber: "Roaman's has a consumer rating of 2.1 stars from 21 reviews indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Consumers complaining about Roaman's most frequently mention customer service problems. It's Impossible to give a no star review. Despite calls, emails, and a written dispute made over a 3 months, I was unable to get an order - bought on 6/23/22 and returned on 6/30/22 via their label to the post office - settled amicably. Have cancelled account. Their representatives at Comenity Bank seemed to think it was fine to make a payment for items I no longer had, despite the fact the statement clearly showed they received the order and tacked on a late fee while I was bounced ping pong style between Comenity and Roamans trying to get a fair ending.

There are other Plus Size sellers....although many under the Lane Bryant umbrella. Roaman's has a consumer rating of 2.1 stars from 21 reviews indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Consumers complaining about Roaman's most frequently mention customer service problems. I cancelled my account. I've never had a problem with Lane B's......but who knows how well they're rated now.

NONE. Received order on 6/23/22 and sent back on 6/30. Received by them 7/17/22. They hold you responsible until they get around to checking it in. Meanwhile expecting a payment and in my case charging a $29 payment when all I owed for the return was $10.99 due to their inefficiency. I felt once I handed it over to the post office, it's between the USPO and Roamans.

It is impossible for me to process a return as I am never sent the QR code and when I call them up, I am getting the most ridiculous answers. Clearly they just want me off the phone. Everything I ordered was either late, wrong or poor quality, so now I am sitting on hundreds of dollars of clothing I'll just have to donate. Throw your catalogs away & disengage from all email contact!

I purchased a dress from Roamans website and paid a ridiculous $30 (had no choice as it's a gift and I'm traveling soon) expedited fee so I can receive the dress in two days. Every time I check the order status it says "not shipped". Customer service is condescending and straight out lie to their customers. I paid extra for shipping and want my item. Do not order from their site, they are very dishonest. Roaman's, You either send my item asap, expedited or I will contact my credit card company and get a refund. Order Number: *******3446

They do not honor their return policy. I bought a cocktail dress on April 6 and requested return label on May 28 which I didn't receive until June 8 which they are now telling is past the 60 day policy. I returned the dress and called to check on status of return and now they are telling me that it was too late to return. So now I don't have a refund or dress. Their customer service dept. is horrible.

When you order they say delivery is within 7-12 business days. My package has been sitting in a Pitney Bowes warehouse now for over a week with no new tracking information. Customer service from Roaman's states I can't declare it lost until after February ‘30th'! Last time I looked at a calendar there are only 28 days in February. Roaman's put the blame on the postal service but they have never received package from Pitney Bowes. I've filed complaints against Roaman's and Pitney Bowes with the BBB. My suggestion, ore from somewhere else.

I have often bought Roaman's and I have noticed that the quality in some thing have gone down and the SHIPPING has increased to an outrageous cost. I was buying 2 items. Total cost was $30.00 (there was a sale) and to ship the items was $19.99. What was the purpose of the sale and then high shipping. I refuse to buy from a company that doesn't include shipping. More and more folks are buying online and Roaman, s just might lose out on lots of customers if they don't offer Free Shipping.

Your tops are too long and too low necked. Your sleeve holes are way large. And we are so sick of a-line dresses! And dresses way too long, so they touch the floor! And all the sequins and extra bingles and bangles on our clothes! And all the obnoxious patterns, how about plain clothes we can accessorize! I hope listen to this good advice! I am only telling you this because you need to know! Sincerely a customer!

Basically Roman's makes it difficult to get a refund or credit back to you for merchandise that has been put on sale. Your going to a stressful headache trying to get assistance from their customer service (in and out of country). You're special until you're not buying. SMH! NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS!
