Hello there. I've been a Roblox player for around 8 years. You may be a parent or a kid reading this, but here we go... Roblox is a fun game. You can play tons of user generated games such as slap battles, brookhaven, you name it. But if you send even an emoji which is quote-unquote "inappropriate" then Roblox will hit you with a warning. Nothing crazy right? Wrong. Join back in that same server, say something completely normal, then instantly get banned for a day. That is what happened to me. I reached out to customer support, told them in full detail what happened, but they said they couldn't do anything because I did not own the account. I literally put the email as my personal email that I used for 2FA, but I guess that is not enough proof? They then stated that my ban was correct and they will not be making any justifications. Not only was it their fault that I got banned, they are saying that it is my fault for sending a normal emoji like the happy face. Outrageous.

A $#*! ton of lag in games across multiple devices including console and computer. I have tried playing more of the simple games here and had multiple frozen screens for just jumping

For other players bullying and when you stand up against them, you get your self banned, for e.g. I played and 2 random kids showed up and started picking on me I stood up against them and Roblox banned my whole account for a day. And most of all Roblox is changed a lot we all loved Roblox when it was new but now its a lot different and its getting boring. We need the old Roblox back and banning systems to be better.
SIDE NOTE: I am talking from my view of Roblox you might have a different opinion.

Recently I was on my account playing Roblox. I got logged out as I was playing, opened the game to log back into my account and my information was changed. Someone hacked me and changed my email AND password. This meaning I cannot get into the account because I do not have access to the email the account is under anymore. I reached out to Roblox by submitting a support form and they absolutely are unhelpful. They have emailed me back with the same thing. "We can't help you any further until we verify the ownership of the account. By doing so you must submit a support form with the ticket number and the email associated with the account." This is so unhelpful, as I have already said I can't access the email to the account anymore. I offered to prove to them it was me by giving the the old email and password (which was mine before I was hacked), payment transaction IDs, Roblox receipts from when I purchased Robux, and the emails I have received from Roblox 2-Step Verification with my username on it, and they still won't help and except anything else besides the email. I called them, and they sent me straight to voicemail. I cannot get someone to pick up the phone so I can actually talk to them. It is a horrible customer support system and not secure enough if I had 2-Step Verification and they still let someone hack my account.

I asked for support due to my robux being taken away monthly because I downloaded a rogue chrome extension called "RoSearcher". I asked for a refund for my Robux, however, they denied my request because I had a recent "restoration of Robux" to my account, which was over 6 months ago. Terrible service, majority of the time they NEVER solve problems. If you have a problem, might as well suck it up than asking for support as there's no point.

I'm sorry but this game is just UGH Roblox banned you for the stupidest stuff and to make it worst my Account go Hacked In 2022 and now it's 2023 and my Account is still hacked by someone and I have stuff that i used with Robux. And I can't get it back like I really hope people like this understand it kinda sad to lose Account and start all over again I just hope one day I get My Account back

Terrible $#*! updates never works and i keep having to factory reset my ENTIRE computer and delete ALL of my files just to fix it. ROBLOX PLAYERS ARE BETTER AT FIXING $#*!TY ISSUES THEN THE ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THE COMPANY. Its WAY to laggy i can play cod and war thunder and have BETTER CONNECTION AND MORE FPS. The moderation is DOG$#*! and god DAMN.

Over the last few months Roblox has completely trashed the mobile version of this platform. First of all, they recently introduced a feature that limits the amount of avatars your character can save, but they put the limit on after the majority of users had created their own outfits so Roblox just took them off the saved character page. This means that the majority of most people's avatar outfits are now unavailable to access through the mobile app. Second of all, they have made the catalog into a complete disaster. They created this annoying bar of suggested accessories that stays in frame no matter where your finger is. This makes it virtually impossible to view how an accessory looks on your character because the bar automatically pops up over it. And to add more complexity, once you take the accessory off, the bar pops up again. No one asked for this, no one likes this. It used to be that the bar stayed in place and you can scroll with it just lowered, but this new update has taken that convenience away for no real reason. At this point, the developers are just doing whatever they feel like. They have made some really stupid changes to try and look more "modern" but all this ends up doing is making the app lag and hindering performance. I really hope that these developers connect and listen to their consumers and run ideas by others before just mass-producing useless features that are just annoying.

Roblox is too incompetent to work on a system that supports users in all possible methods and ignorantly giving the support that many of their players need. For example when they ban accounts for no reason or in the verification system with international users who need more support than others. So maybe it's a good game to make friends and have fun, but what needs more correction of all this is their system no doubt that hopefully they will correct it as soon as possible to give people a better experience.

I wrote a long detailed message to support explaining that my son had made an error on his account and I needed it rectified. They responded by sending me the exact text that was already available on the website and irrelevant to my request. I replied explaining that their response was not helpful at all and they wrote back to refer me back to the text and closed the ticket. I don't believe it even reached a real person.

I've been playing roblox for several years now, and nothing has bothered me as much as the new rule where you need to pay 10 robux to upload an item of clothing. While I understand the few reasonings behind that update, I think it is one of the worst updates Roblox has ever made. The number one reason for that would be if you spend 10 robux on uploading a shirt and it immediately gets blocked by Roblox, with no reasoning or refund. There needs to be a change in that. If anything, bring it back to only having the subscription to be able to upload clothes because it is ridiculous that I spend 10 robux for an item of clothing to get blocked by Roblox.

The game was fun during 2014-2018 but after that point of was just filled with online daters and children becoming furries. Toxicity has taken over Roblox kids minds. Just not the same.
Sadly, I still play this game with friends. It's only fun with friends at this point.

The mini games inside Roblox itself within "Adopt Me" promised my child that the winner would get 3000 eggs, and that all participants win/lose would recieve 600 eggs each. My daughter came first, and I observed this myself, and she only got 450 eggs. Now this may seem trivial, but it results in a deterioration in the overall game experience, especially when combined with their weekend server inadequacies, poor moderation ( it's like a robot takes complaints then doesn't act, so kids give up reporting exploits, unfair play, glitching,misconduct, cheating etc). Aka pointless!
My daughter manages this by logging out and just playing another online game like Fortnight, Animal Jam, her Nintendo, toys etc.
She's on the verge of closing her VIP account for good. Too frustrating for adults, let alone kids.
And all because of rubbish script errors, server issues and crap moderation. For a game that attracts 40 odd million players a day, and worth 75 million... we expect a lot better than this.
Save yourself and your kids the frustration and having to contend with unhappy kids.

Some of my students told me to play this game and it's horrible. I've found out that Roblox is a game that has started to rise in popularity due to the internet. Basically inside the game, there are other tiny games to play so there are a lot of games to play. The first game I joined was called "Brookhaven". It was a horrible experience. There were people who were affectionately talking to each other inside the in-game chat. It was absolutely disgusting seeing as my students play this. And when I confronted them why typing in the little chat box at the top they called me the N-Word! But their avatar was white and I was very concerned. I reported him and he hopefully got banned. There is also a bevy of in-game purchases. They make you think you don't need to spend money by making it free. But then they give you the option to buy little things called Robux. It costs an absurd amount and I feel bad for the parents that are forced to buy this for their kids to get them to shut up. It really is a horrible website and I recommend not allowing your children or students to play this. There are some games I played that I enjoyed like one about a pizza place but that was it. If you are going to allow you're children to play this you must regulate their use and check which games they are going to play before they play it. Definitely not good and the only thing saving it from a 1-star review is the creativity. But I believe Roblox should start to regulate their games and not allow foul language like the N-word into their games. I am highly offended as a white man so I can't imagine what a black man would think about this.

I thought it was a good game until I typed my password and I couldn't get in. I had an email I used when I first got the account and logged out. I used the email, and this horrible game didn't even show me my username, and it showed me accounts I didn't even have.

I got baned for someone being mean to me for NO reason and me saying basterd when the should of just not let you type it because they do it with everthing else myself and i also have a little bit of angre ishuse. SO I GOT BANED FOR ANGER ISHUSE. So dont play if you get mad quike.

So I was getting bullied right? This is in 'don't press the button' Btw. Anyway I was getting bullied so I snap back. But for some reason I get banned. The grl was like: You suck u and ur friend better get out of here, then she starts hash tagging, so I like report her then the next minute! Bam I'M BANNED! 0/5 experience. (I have done and said way worse, but I get banned for THIS!)

As a 2016 player, this is going from bad to worse, bad updates, bad admins and BAD PLAYERS. Only the games make it fell better, if you are a new player you might know good games like MM2, and… yea that's all, the new games are more than mid, but some old games are still on the roblox, like prision life, flee the facility, natural disaster survival, kat, cbro and more. Oh yea, and there are players too, you will see slenders(they look like emo kids with 6'1 height) online daters(on almost every game on roblox) and normals( just normal people with normal avatar). If you are a new player i highly recommend to play these old games, and do not buy robux to make your character disable

Okay, I will admit that this website has great games, but it $#*!ing sucks tbh. There are so many issues with ping, the website CONSTANLY being down, and the moderation department is so $#*!ed its hilarious. ALWAYS AT LEAST 30 TIMES A MONTH there are problems with the website, problems with connecting to games, problems with this, problems with that, its got great games but overall kinda is $#*!ing garbage.

The website version of Roblox will not turn on for me, because the ARM-based processors can only run x86 (the name is a bit confusing because it's actually 32-bit) apps, not x64 apps. Even the ARM64 (which is the 64-bit version of ARM processors) processors can't run x64 apps. Because of this, Roblox crashes all the time because it thinks that I'm using a 32-bit device, even tho it's 64-bit (I have a screenshot of this error down below). There is also the Microsoft Store version, which does support ARM64 devices, but it crashes all the time! Plus it doesn't have Roblox Studio on it, which sucks because I mainly use Roblox for developing games! I think that Roblox should add ARM64 support, as it would be a great move for Windows users who use ARM-based processors, newer Macs as they now also use ARM64-based processors(based on my knowledge), and even Linux users because most of these Linux devices also use ARM64 processors.

Roblox has taken over my sons life, I need someone here to help me, it started off pretty small, he told me he was into this game called Roblox. I looked it over, seemed nice. That was 5 years ago, now my son has locked himself inside his room, using a pile of roblox toy plastic to guard me from opening it. When he comes out (The 1 time he does a week) he carries 5 bottles of empty soda pop filled with human waste and empty bags of food and throws them away. He will not speak to me, and will not leave the house, only will play Roblox. I've tried it all, but he seems to find a way to play roblox. I tired killing the WiFi but he payed someone in robux to let him have his, so he has his own wifi source, and trying to take away his PC causes him to go into a fit of terror, where he'll scream "ROBLOX ESCAPE THE BOSSBABY RAINBOW OBBY FIGDET SPINNER" until he gets it back please someone tell me how I stop this. I've tried doing a thing I call "Good Robloxian Robux" where I give him Robux when he does good things, like come out of his room, or doesn't use more then 20+ hours of wifi a day but it only works so much please someone tell me how I can get my son back, I miss that boy, he's 25 now, and needs a job

Garbage like the moderation. They are basically human robots.

This section is about their TERRIBLE MODERATION.
Scam links. Example: "blox.me" or whatever. These websites use bots to advertise their websites to scam little kids off of their personal data or waste their time with sponsors. Oh also, their team is nonexistent. They use bot moderators who ban you for saying the word "Gay" or anything related to the word. Also, they have this chat filter. It does the job... HORRIBLY. Tags every single number, and tags every word you try to say. They didn't even try to fix it. Luckily, its becoming better because everyone on Roblox is growing up.
Real bad stuff about moderation
Also, there's sex games. Yes, SEX GAMES. IN A KIDS GAME! There are groups of people who go on third party apps like Discord (really good chatting service) and announce these "condos". These condos are the sex games I'm talking about. They try to get money out of you, they barely have any age checking, so a little kid could just join their friend and see 18+ content. In a public game uploaded by a bot (or uploaded manually, and somehow manages to get past moderation). How these bots (or humans) manage to bypass? Simple, moderation is garbage. They cant find it if they make a few hidden changes like a teleporter or a loading screen. There's also sex models in the app related to Roblox called "Roblox studio". Its responsible for all those amazing games, but there's this thing called the toolbox. There are amazing models, and there are outright cursed and inappropriate models.

Games segment:
Many great games and a maybe good community.
Basically, there are many types of games. Like: Shooter games, Tycoons, Simulators, Hangouts, Cafe games, etc. Depending on what you like, you might want to play these. Some are really amazing and are on the "Discovery page", Some are amazing but it was left in the storage room, and some are... at least the creator tried!

Community segment:
Toxic kids, helpful people, there's many types of people here on Roblox. Some are good, some deserve to uninstall system 32 and go outside for once.
If you want real community chatting... Go to:
Discord. Always Discord. If you are under 13, you're banned from discord server and you cant access it because the server owner/mods reported you (Discord misunderstood COPPA and their policies. Parental consent and they want to collect data at all times so they instructed servers to ban anyone under the age of 13, I've heard that under 13's used to be allowed in before they realized COPPA existed)

Other:
There's drama. Like, a ton of drama. Too much but basically: 1 person nicked some art (or whatever) from another person, and the other person went suns out guns out on twitter. Then YouTube videos (commentary youtubers), then chaos. OR: 1 person said the bad bad word and people do not like the person who said the naughty word. It can be anything. Its so easy to anger the community.

Overall: ROBLOX is MID in terms of community and the company itself
